The instructions on it were clear. He was to meet her in the master bedroom of the central kingdom. Signed with a royal seal and a big purple lipstick mark. It was normal for Lita to sign her letters to Tek with a kiss, although usually she wore pink lipstick. Tek didn’t think much of it, instead thinking of what Lita may have planned for him, shopping and sex being the two most likely options. Tek had hoped for the latter.\n\nPoking his head into the bedroom, Tek found a trail of rose petals leading to a nicely made bed. His tail flicked with excitement as he ran over and belly flopped onto the mattress, allowing his body to bounce around before settling on the soft sheets. He inhaled deeply, taking in the scent of a perfume he didn’t recognize. One of the other princesses perhaps? His ears twitched at the sound of the heavy doors to the room slamming shut behind him, followed by a heavy latch locking the door shut.\n\nTek turned his head only to find it wasn’t Lita that had walked into the room. It was her mother.\n\n“Queen Effluvia!” Tek said, scrambling off of the bed to give the queen a formal bow.\n\n“Prince Tek,” Queen Effluvia said, her voice was motherly yet regal. Tek flushed. I’m glad the skunk kingdoms have brought you some comfort.”\n\n“I… uh… Lita…” Tek stumbled over his words. As he looked up he noticed the queen was wrapped in a golden silk robe. This only made him more flustered and his head began to spin as he tried to get ahold of himself. “Your daughter… Uh, Lita ma’am. Told me to meet her here. I’m sorry, I must be in the wrong room.”\n\nTek hurried past Queen Effluvia, dropping Lita’s letter on the ground as he fumbled with the latch. He cursed to himself quietly over his stupidity. How could he embarrass himself like this?
