A religion devoted to purity and destroying what is viewed as corruption of the body and mind.\n\nOfcourse, the deeper details show a religion with it's own forms of problems and what some could easily call hypocrisies, as the god whom the temple of the pure moon follows, sets the rules based on what they themselves view to be 'pure'. In the case of the current god who holds the position of god of the pure moon, the rules mainly revolve around purity of the soul. A Cleanser's job is to travel and attempt to purify corrupt beings through incantations, symbology, rites, and rituals.\n\nWhile combat training is encouraged, since defense against others is seen as a necissary thing, the temple of the pure moon believe that violence is a last resort, and as such, none of their purification rituals, rites, symbologies or incantations involve violence, believing that purification must involve at least some choice on the part of the one who is to be purified.\n\nOftentimes, sexual acts can actually end up being involved in some rituals, especially as some corruption is harder to pull from the soul when it isn't exhausted prior to the completion of the ritual. While this can be seen as a hassle in some cases, one of the oddities of the current god of the pure moon's viewpoints only view certain acts involving sex to be corrupting, specifically that of heterosexual sex between the unwed.\n\nBecause of this, often Cleansers will be chosen to purify the corrupt based on being of similar sex, in order to help reduce the impurity the Cleanser takes on in the process, to ensure they themselves do not need to be purified.\n\nOn the other side we Asriel, a godly entity, whom at the time of this meeting has his own heavy corruption, but Sanbao isn't foolish, and knows he doesn't have the skills yet to fix such high levels of corruption. Instead, Asriel had planned on corrupting Sanbao. Too bad he doesn't know much about the temple, and thus, his plans for corrupting Sanbao will in the end simply amount to a fun night for both of them.\n\nPic 2: The two made a nice mixture, less at odds with one another, and more seeing some playful compeition as the two shortly after meeting one another, ran into an Incubus king. A creature of corruption of the highest amount.
