Omastar were once believed to have died out due to a heavy, oversized shell restricting their movements and short-ranged tentacles making it difficult to ensnare prey. None of these are true, as one unlucky Poliwrath learned, drawn to the sight of a curious spike poking above the surface. It had barely encroached one foot onto the bank of a pond hidden along a rocky path when the spike rose, revealing itself as belonging to the spiral shell of an Omastar sporting a salacious four-fanged grin.
Poliwrath had no chance before six blue tentacles shot from the water, five binding its arms and legs and eliminating its ability to fight back as the sixth entered its sphincter. Frustrated, the tadpole Pokemon pulled away, yanked, punched, kicked. The tentacles stretched with it but every ounce of muscle it had as a Fighting-type wasn't enough to break free and the exploration continued inside as they dragged it slowly back toward the water.
Omastar were known for one more thing - never letting go of prey once caught. Poliwrath would've been wise not to tire itself out, their time together had only begun.
