the events that had transpired, he remembered he was flying with Lazar, having a race in his dragon form as he tended to do with his friend, keeping up the promise of that pact that they spend quality time together. He remember he was loosing the race and decided to do a risky maneuver through a mountain gorge but something caught his wing and he began to fall, trying all his might to get back airborne, he realized his wings would not move as they had been tied down, someone had thrown a bolas at him and he was ensnared in a trap, falling to the ground and passing out as the hit. He now found himself in a dimly lit room, lying naked on some sort of table that had some sort of sticky substance on it which Ion realized it was blood as the stench was becoming overpowering, not just overpowering his dragon nose, but his demon senses within. Ion saw his arms and legs were chained down, as well as his wings, attempting to pull hard on them they would not come loose as they seamed designed to take quite a bit of force, \"so you are awake\" Ion heard a voice say as a person in a hooded robe stepped forward with a dagger laying in their hands, Ion then realized there were more of them in the room as well, \"very well the ritual can now begin\" the hooded figure said as Ion now put it together he was laying on a sacrificial alter, he had herd of dragon cults before from Lazar, these cults were dangerous as they had in possession dragon slaying weapons that could cut the scales of dragons, to open them up for sacrifice, eating their hearts as they thought it would bring them power, Ion had been ensnared by them. \"The dragon looks a little small, will he suffice?\" another cultist called out as the one closest to Ion too the dagger and made a slice down the side of Ion's thigh, the cut was clean with small amounts of blood trickling out, \"the blood looks pure to me, big or small a dragon is a dragon after all\" the cultist with the dagger said as they raised the blade over Ion's belly. Ion started breathing heavy, mentally preparing himself for the dagger making contact, thinking back to the time Lazar suddenly stabbed him the the gut with one of his katanas only for the blade to bounce right off, back then Lazar was showing him how resistant the scales on his belly were to blades but the construction of this dagger was different, made from dragon talons and fangs, those things could pierce dragon scales, molded into a blade shouldn't be no different, Ion in the back of his mind hoped it would be but the stained blood on the table he was laying on didn't give him comfort it would. \n\nThe dagger plunged down, making contact with Ion's belly scales and pushing through, Ion grit his teeth to keep himself from screaming as the pain that accompanied the stab was one of the most painful things he ever felt, including when he lost his arm and was disemboweled, these dragon slaying weapons were no joke. \"I think you hit the wrong spot\" one of the cultists said as after the dagger was extracted, only a small amount of blood was bleeding from Ion, \"need a lot more blood then that to suffice, need to dig into it's spleen\" the cultist continued as the one with the dagger readied it again and stabbed down into Ion's belly one more time, Ion doing all he could to prevent himself from screaming due to the pain, \"still not quite good enough\" the cultist said as only a small amount of blood trickled from the second wound, \"might have to do a little bit of exploring to find the spleen on this one\" the cultist continued as the one with the dagger poked smaller stabs into Ion's belly, trying to see if they could get what they were looking for, when a steady stream of blood started bleeding out, the cultist raised the dagger one last time and stabbed hard into Ion's gut near the place the stream of blood was coming from, this time Ion moaned from the pain as he couldn't hold it in any longer, as blood started gushing from the new wound. \"Good, now make the wound a bit bigger, we need all the blood we can take\" a cultist said as the one with the dagger slid the blade side to side and twisted it as the blood flow became stronger, the angles in the table making it pour to a spout where the blood collected in a bowel at the side of the alter. The blade was removed from Ion's gut as the cultist then pressed down on Ion's belly, their fingers dipping into his wound making more blood spill out as Ion moaned in pain once more, the cultist seamed to take notice as they removed their fingers from Ion's wound and placed them on his cheek. \"Don't worry, it will all be over soon, you have been a good sacrifice so far and the best is yet to come, just one more little offering\" the cultist started saying as they drew a line of blood down the centre of Ion's chest over his scar with their finger, \"just make sure to keep it beating until it can be consumed, not dying on me yet\" the cultist finished saying as they were handed a different looking knife, another one that was made from dragon talons and scales, some other cultist were by the bowel where Ion's blood had been pouring into and looked to be filling chalices. \"Who here is ready to consume the dragon's power?\" the cultist called out as another stepped forward, \"good, now drink the blood as we all become one with the Ryu\" the cultist said as the other took their chalices and drank from them, \"we will now commence this dragon's power to our own, as our brother will take their first step towards dragonhood\" the cultist continued as they placed the knife at the top of Ion's chest, \"a dragon's heart will be your own\" the cultist finished as they made a deep incision down the centre of Ion's chest. \n\nIon cried out as he tried to wiggle himself free but the other cultist around dropped their candles and held him in place, \"there is no use in struggling, it will be easier on you if you just stay calm and relax\" the cultist with the knife said as they started to saw through Ion's sternum with the teeth on the knife, the blade designed for dragon hunting was making the work a breeze. Within seconds the cultist had cut through, as they motions to another as they each placed their fingers on either side of Ion's incision and started pulling his chest apart, after a bit of struggle, Ion's ribs snapped back making a rather large hole in his chest, a membrane was then cut away and his rather large dragon heart was fully visible, beating at a rapid pace. Ion was panting as he eyed the cultist standing over him, they placed their hands in Ion's chest and cupped his heart in the palms, giving it a good squeeze as they lifted it up above the scale line, causing Ion to momentarily blackout, \"now brother, consume the dragon's essence and make him your own\" the cultist holding Ion's heart sad to the one that came forward, who opened their maw exposing their sharp teeth, \"try to consume as much as you can in one bite.\" The next few moments were a haze as all Ion could do was stare up half dazed from blood loss and pain as the cultist's jaw clamped down on his beating heart, their fangs piercing into it's chambers as it's pace intensified, blood gushing out and splattering everywhere. Ion lost sense of all that was around him as his eyes darkened, his heart beating faster and faster until it suddenly stopped inside the cultist's closed mouth, his body stilled as the other cultist looked pleased at the sight in front of them, \"the dragon's power is now yours, feast to make your full claim\" one of the cultist said as the one with Ion's heart in their mouth violently tilted their head back to rip Ion's heart from out of his chest but nothing would sever as their head was forced back forward towards Ion, his body started pulsing as his eyes turned almost pitch place with an orange glow emanating, the cultist soon found their fangs stuck in Ion's hardened heart as his body started pulsing more and more, they had made a mistake with this sacrifice, as they didn't know the true nature of the one they were consuming, the demon was being unleashed.....\n~", "description_bbcode_parsed": "Art by Naru_Arai on FurAffinity

A little story in the mood for Halloween

Ion awoke in a daze, trying to remember the events that had transpired, he remembered he was flying with Lazar, having a race in his dragon form as he tended to do with his friend, keeping up the promise of that pact that they spend quality time together. He remember he was loosing the race and decided to do a risky maneuver through a mountain gorge but something caught his wing and he began to fall, trying all his might to get back airborne, he realized his wings would not move as they had been tied down, someone had thrown a bolas at him and he was ensnared in a trap, falling to the ground and passing out as the hit. He now found himself in a dimly lit room, lying naked on some sort of table that had some sort of sticky substance on it which Ion realized it was blood as the stench was becoming overpowering, not just overpowering his dragon nose, but his demon senses within. Ion saw his arms and legs were chained down, as well as his wings, attempting to pull hard on them they would not come loose as they seamed designed to take quite a bit of force, "so you are awake" Ion heard a voice say as a person in a hooded robe stepped forward with a dagger laying in their hands, Ion then realized there were more of them in the room as well, "very well the ritual can now begin" the hooded figure said as Ion now put it together he was laying on a sacrificial alter, he had herd of dragon cults before from Lazar, these cults were dangerous as they had in possession dragon slaying weapons that could cut the scales of dragons, to open them up for sacrifice, eating their hearts as they thought it would bring them power, Ion had been ensnared by them. "The dragon looks a little small, will he suffice?" another cultist called out as the one closest to Ion too the dagger and made a slice down the side of Ion's thigh, the cut was clean with small amounts of blood trickling out, "the blood looks pure to me, big or small a dragon is a dragon after all" the cultist with the dagger said as they raised the blade over Ion's belly.
