I hope you understand\" the head council member said as the Ravager finished up their marking before returning over to where the council was standing, then the two Ravagers at Ion's side removed the chains binding him before joining the other as Ion stood there blankly pondering his fate before giving the group in front of him a glare as he readied his claws. \"I wouldn't do that if I were you\" one of the Ravagers called out as Ion's body movements, \"our 'freeing' you was a gesture of good faith to give you a clean and more painless death, if you resist we can do this the hard way, remember we are Ravagers, we Hunt demons down for a living\" the Ravager continued as Ion lowered his claw. \"Good! Now then just stand steady to give us a clean shot\" the Ravager said as all three of them held up rifles pointed towards Ion, \"three shots and it will be all over if you let us do this cleanly\" the Ravager continued as Ion placed his hand behind his back to grab onto his other mechanical arm, bracing himself for what was about to happen. Then a loud bang rang out as the first shot was fired, Ion let out a grunt as blood spitted and started pouring out from near the centre of his chest, the shot a bit off the mark, then came the second one as the thick crimson bleed from a second hole, this one closer on point before the last Ravager released their trigger, landing one basically on centre as thick dark blood exploded, before rapidly oozing down Ion's body. Ion stood there dazed, looking at the three bleeding holes in his chest as his mind raced, he was waiting for when his body would catch up to what had occurred, he was waiting to collapse into the void of death, these were bullets designed to kill a demon and yet he was still standing, his breathing was normal, his body could still function despite Ion feeling his heart exploding from the last bullet, he was still fully alive. \n\n\"You see, it is pointless in trying to execute him\" a familiar voice could be head coming from behind the council in the room as the Ravagers lowered their rifles and the crowd parted as Narche walked up over to Ion, \"you feeling ok?\" she asked. I would have taken your test if you had just explained everything.\" \"Yes it was necessary\" one of the Ravagers responded, \"we need to see how you react to these types of situations, the data collected during the procedures is meant to help you grow with your new identify, I know it all seams harsh but we all went through it exactly like you did and trust me, for what we face it is all things that needed to be done\" the Ravager continued as Ion cooled off, \"don't worry, I also had the same feelings after my test was through, but once you see more, you will understand everything\" the Ravager finished as Narche turned her attention back to Ion who had started violently coughing, blood puked from his mouth as the three bullets came out with it, as the wounds in his chest had almost completely healed. \"You will get use to that after getting shot\" Narche said in a cheeky tone as Ion gave her a look, \"well my offer still stands, do you want to be part of my Ravagers?\" she continue as Ion cracked a smile as raised out his hand, Narche took it in a sign of acceptance as she let out a smile, \"Great!
