"description": "Art by Gehirnlie on FurAffinity\n\n~\nOne of Ion's earliest memories of his childhood was when it was just him and his mom around during the day as his dad had his duties of the overseer, was her taking him on this wooden sailing ship and sailing down the river, under the rivergate bridge to the open lake in the valley plains. They would even dress up in these fancy clothes that were interesting to Ion as it looked like him mom was always keen on wearing them, like she was this different person that had a happier tune in her deposition. As he came more accustom to sailing, Ionia would bring her son sailing the other way, don the river straight, through the narrow corridors and past the sea gate out into the open ocean beyond the mountains, it was there Ion could see his mom more at home and he enjoyed the trips and time they spent together. He remember the one day where he was only about five and she gave him the wheel to navigate down the straight, while nervous at the more perilous maneuvers it would take to make it down the pass unscathed, Ionia put every confidence into her son that he could manage it and with no help at all, Ion sailed through those narrow corridors effortlessly, passing her test with flying colours and giving him a much needed boost of confidence. Every time out that way, Ion would take the wheel, as Ionia saw in him that he was born to be a fox of the seas, just like she was once was but there was another calling he had to endure, being the son of the Overseer, this time together, out here on the seas for the short time they had was one of her prized treasures and while they are far apart now and have ben away for so long, she still yearns for those days where she could sail side by side with her son, as the sea fox they were meant to be.\n~ ",
