Every once in a while Ion undergoes scheduled surgery for a variety of medical condition he has and while recovering, instead of Meeka keeping Ion hospitalized longer then he needs due to Ion's tendency to try and rush his recovery when he is sent home, she gave him the offer of him taking shifts in the operating room with her as her assistant, that way she could keep an eye on him during the day, making sure he was not overdoing things on his recovering body and allowed him that sense of \"freedom\" by being able to go home and not stay at the hospital under the constant watchful eye of her and the other nurses, since Meeka knew Ion would come back the next day on his own terms. It was also a way for Ion to keep busy when there was some down time between Contracts, coming from a medical family, it was kind of a natural path for Ion to take and had the full encouragement Meeka, who is like a big sister to Ion, even going so far as to fully train Ion so he could become officially registered as a surgical nurse, being able to fully don the official surgical gowns of the Hunter's Special Hospital like Meeka and one of his other friend Oliver, under the same dress code that Meeka has put in place for her underlings, shoes, stocking and the gown with nothing underneath, so they can be a bit \"playful\" to their patients, both before and after undergoing their surgical procedures, much to Ion's dismay\n~   ",
