"description": "Art by MorgueBunny on FurAffinity\n\nIon's Surgery: https://inkbunny.net/s/2570687\n\n~\nIon opened his eyes slowly as his vision came back to him, his body was numb and he felt very weak, through his eye he could see the surgeon from before he went under standing over him and doing something with the medicine that was attached to him. \"Hey there little guy\" Ion heard Doctor Mazee softly speak to him as he felt a hand being placed on his head, \"see I told you everything would be fine, now just rest up a bit, you are probably still fairly weak from the operation\" Ion heard the doctor continue but he was more interested in what his tummy looked like since the last time he saw it, trying to get a glace Ion could no longer see the arrow that was sticking out of him but a large scar with staples closing it was there instead, \"don't worry the arrow is gone now and everything is fixed up, you will be fine and playing with your friends again in no time\" Ion heard the doctor say once more. \"Friends...\" Ion thought as his memory was getting back to him, there was someone he needed to apologize to, someone he needed to see as soon as possible, \"Fl..in..t... I want... to see... Flint\" Ion started saying in a weak voice as his breathing was still a bit slow, \"is that one of your friends? I am sure he will come and see you soon, is there anything else you want at the moment?\" Doctor Mazee asked, \"Flint, I want to see Flint\" Ion called back out weakly. \"Ok I will get him as soon as I can, no Ion are you feeling any pain? Do I need to increase your pain meds?\" the doctor asked, \"Please, Flint, I want to see him\" was all Ion responded in his weak voice, \"ok I will go get him\" Doctor Mazee answered as he started leaving the operating room. Ion closed his eyes again as he felt tired, but was quickly awoken again when a few of the attendants lifted him onto a gurney and wheeled him into a room that was filled with various medical equipment. Ion was in no mood to sleep but his body was fighting him on that very issue, he was too weak and too tried to fight back his heavy eyes, before he knew it, Ion dozed off hoping when he would awake again, he would get his chance to apologize to his friend, it was something he felt he needed to do.\n~",

Ion opened his eyes slowly as his vision came back to him, his body was numb and he felt very weak, through his eye he could see the surgeon from before he went under standing over him and doing something with the medicine that was attached to him. "Hey there little guy" Ion heard Doctor Mazee softly speak to him as he felt a hand being placed on his head, "see I told you everything would be fine, now just rest up a bit, you are probably still fairly weak from the operation" Ion heard the doctor continue but he was more interested in what his tummy looked like since the last time he saw it, trying to get a glace Ion could no longer see the arrow that was sticking out of him but a large scar with staples closing it was there instead, "don't worry the arrow is gone now and everything is fixed up, you will be fine and playing with your friends again in no time" Ion heard the doctor say once more. "Friends..." Ion thought as his memory was getting back to him, there was someone he needed to apologize to, someone he needed to see as soon as possible, "Fl..in..t... I want... to see... Flint" Ion started saying in a weak voice as his breathing was still a bit slow, "is that one of your friends? I am sure he will come and see you soon, is there anything else you want at the moment?" Doctor Mazee asked, "Flint, I want to see Flint" Ion called back out weakly. "Ok I will get him as soon as I can, no Ion are you feeling any pain? Do I need to increase your pain meds?" the doctor asked, "Please, Flint, I want to see him" was all Ion responded in his weak voice, "ok I will go get him" Doctor Mazee answered as he started leaving the operating room. Ion closed his eyes again as he felt tired, but was quickly awoken again when a few of the attendants lifted him onto a gurney and wheeled him into a room that was filled with various medical equipment.
