"description": "Art by Naru_Arai on FurAffinity\n\nBasically the origin and reason why Ion has heart valve issues in the future and has to undergo surgeries to replace them it started all the way back here...\n\n~\n\"Ion, can you open your mouth and say aww for me please?\" Ion's father Ivan asked his son, Ion did what he was asked as Ivan placed a wooden popsicle stick on Ion's tongue and shined a light into his throat, \"just as I thought, you have come down with strep throat, which means no school for you today\" Ivan started saying as Ion laid back down in his bed in a bit of discomfort, \"I will go to the doctors and get you a prescription to help with the infection, but in the mean time just get some rest, ok\" Ivan continued as he pulled the blanket back over Ion. Being a doctor before he was the Overseer, made it easy for Ivan to help his family when they were feeling ill as he could guarantee they got the proper care, but sometimes that was not enough to fully ensure his family's wellbeing. A few days passed and while Ion's throat infection seamed to be getting better, he was still running a high fever and complained of body aches in his knees, ankles and wrists, Ivan at first thought this was because of him laying in bed for a bit as he was use to being active, swinging his sword around and going on adventures may have caused his joints to get achy once his body rested but that quickly became not the case. Checking in on his son, Ivan opened the door to Ion's room to see his son with his hands on his chest while he was wincing in pain, \"Ion what's wrong?\" Ivan asked as he rushed to Ion's side, \"my chest... it hurts... a lot\" Ion replied while moaning as Ivan quickly ran to his closet to grab his old stethoscope. The commotion alerted Ion's mother Ionia as she quickly ran up the large staircase to see her husband rushing back to their son's room, as she followed him as quickly as she could. Seeing her son in distress she rushed to his side as she helped Ivan but holding Ion's arms away from his chest so he could hear his heartbeat. Placing the stethoscope on Ion's chest, Ivan listened closely to the sound it was making, \"there is a bit of a murmur... I don't really like the sound I am hearing\" Ivan started saying, \"Ionia, stay here with him, I am going to call an ambulance, I think Ion needs more immediate medical attention\" Ivan continued as he rushed over to a phone and called for help. Being the Overseer's residence, help was quick to arrive as there was usually paramedics on standby nearby as a precaution for anything, especially with the estate being on the grounds of the capital building, a few minutes passed before an ambulance arrived and Ion was loaded in, with Ivan and Ionia riding along side their son. \"Deep breaths, deep breaths\" one of the paramedics softly spoke to Ion as she was attending to him, trying to calm him down a bit before they were to arrive at the hospital, the same advice was also said to Ion's worrying parents as they need to stay strong for his sake. \n\nThe ambulance ride didn't take long as they arrived at a more unconventional hospital, this one was designed to treat the special guild called the Hunters but it also served as the primary care facility of the Overseer's family as well since it was the top medical facility in the country, Ion was quickly wheeled into a private examination room as doctors and nurses quickly took his vitals and started an intravenous drip as they did their preliminary examination. Blood was drawn and sent off to the lab for testing as Ion's condition worsened, his fever was getting dangerously high as the pain he was feeling intensified, the doctors on staff though it best if Ion would be induced into a small medical coma as they awaited the results of testing and for any treatment to start. Ivan and Ionia signed off on the idea as Ion was put to sleep, his breathing was still raspy and his heart rate was abnormal but the medication for the fever was starting to take effect, as his temperature started dropping if only just a bit. An hour passed as Ion's condition remained the same, his fever was still dropping but seamed to be leveling off still on the high side as the doctor came into the room and did a quick check on Ion before sitting down with his parents, \"well I got a diagnosis back\" he started saying, \"it looks like Ion's strep throat he has been fighting the past few days has worsened and he developed rheumatic fever, we can now get him on the right medication to help but will have to do a few more tests in the days to come to see how much it spread but judging by Ion's symptoms, we do believe that his heart was affected by the infection.\" \"So what do we do now?\" Ivan asked in a serious tone as he comforted Ionia who was starting to cry, \"well first we still need to bring his fever down which we hope the new medication will help with that, for the time being we will still keep him induced until he is in a more stable state but tomorrow we will do a electrocardiogram and a echocardiogram on his heart to see what damage has been done, then we can plan out the next course of action going forward\" the doctor replied. \"Thank you\" Ivan responded as the doctor left the room, with Ivan and Ionia going back to Ion's side, nurses came in and replaced Ion's medication, as well as the cool cloth that was draped over his forehead, \"don't worry, we will take good care of him\" one of the nursed started saying, \"but why don't you guys get some rest, tomorrow is going to be quite busy\" \"Thanks but I think we will stay right here\" Ivan replied as Ionia just held Ion's hand, \"understood\" the nurse replied back, \"I will bring some blankets and pillows just in case though\" she continued as she left the room. \n\nThe night came and went as Ivan and Ionia didn't get much sleep, Ion was wheeled out of the hospital room early in the morning to undergo his first test, Ivan and Ionia had to stay back and wait which felt like an eternity. An hour latter Ion was sent for his second test, as Ivan and Ionia waited anxiously for the results, another hour went by before Ion was wheeled back into the hospital room, with a familiar face following behind, \"Doctor Mazee what are you doing here?\" Ivan asked the mouse who was dressed in hospital scrubs, he was a cardiac surgeon who operated on Ion's friend Flint for his heart defects, as well as Ion three years ago when he underwent heart surgery along side Flint to donate some of his healthy heart tissue to his friend who was in need, \"I take it the news is not all good?\" \"Well there is some good news\" doctor Mazee started saying, \"Ion's outlook looks decent however there is something we need to do to make sure it stays that way\" he continued, \"well what is it? Well will do anything to make sure Ion gets well\" Ivan responded. Doctor Mazee pulled over a chair and sat down in front of Ion's parents, \"well you see, there is some scaring on Ion's mitral heart valve, it was the location were we took samples from three years ago but that scaring is new from current imaging results\" doctor Mazee started saying, \"it is causing blood to slightly backfill into Ion's heart as it is a bit leaky, I am sorry to say Ion will have to undergo heart valve replacement surgery sometime in the future, probably in the next four to five years at best as it gets worse but we can hopefully push back the date on that quite a ways.\" \"How do we go about doing that?\" Ionia interjected, \"well by cleaning up the scar tissue on his mitral valve as much as we can\" doctor Mazee started saying before he was interrupted, \"which means Ion will have to...\" Ionia started saying but trailed off, \"he will have to undergo open heart surgery now so we can keep his natural mitral valve as long as possible as heart valve replacement surgery is a recurring surgery every so often as replacements don't last a long time\" doctor Mazee continued. \"When do you want to operate?\" Ivan asked, \"this afternoon\" doctor Mazee responded, \"best to get it done before we wake Ion from his coma, one less stressful thing he will have to deal with as he is recovering from all this, the medication to treat the rheumatic fever seems to be working as the infection is going away which makes it a good time to get his heart working properly again.\" \"Ok understood, as much as I don't like it, it would be the best for Ion to undergo the surgery\" Ivan replied as Ionia nodded with tears in her eyes, \"ok then it is settled, I have an opening at 2pm and will fit Ion there, the surgery will take about three to four hours, I will try my best to keep the incision as small as possible so the scar won't be too bad on top of his previous one\" doctor Mazee responded before he left the room. \n\nIvan and Ionia stayed by their son's side for the rest of the morning, though Ionia left quickly to go and grab a couple of things back from the estate before Ion was about to be taken in, \"here, can you please put these somewhere by him as you operate?\" Ionia asked doctor Mazee as they wheeled Ion towards the operation room, \"sure thing\" doctor Mazee replied as he took two stuffed animals from Ionia that looked like Ion's friends Flint and Zephyr, \"I see they too will be by his side during the procedure.\" \"yes exactly\" Ionia replied, \"though both of them will be here after school when Ion gets out of surgery, I made arrangements for them to come and see him.\" \"Thats good, recovery is always better with your friends by your side\" doctor Mazee said with a smile as they were about to enter the hall before the operating room, Ion's parents couldn't follow anymore so they wished him well as Ion was taken through the doors. Inside the operating room, another surgeon, a brown and white bunny named doctor Dague was wating for them to arrive, prepping the operating table. Doctor Dague was a specialist for pediatric heart surgery, the main surgeon for Ion's friend Flint's condition and mentor to the younger doctor Mazee in pediatric heart care, as Ion was the son of the Overseer, the top pediatric cardiac surgeon would be expected to be in the operating room, but this time as an assistant as Ion was technically a patient of doctor Mazee from his first heart surgery three years ago but he would still be present in the operating room. Ion was lifted gently onto the operating table as doctor Dague placed a covering over Ion's waist area, while doctor Mazee hooked up the electrodes to the heart monitor, an oxygen mask was placed over Ion's mouth and nose as the two surgeons got into position, \"ready?\" doctor Dague asked, \"yes\" doctor Mazee replied, \"scalpel\" he called out a second latter as doctor Dague handed him the scalpel. Using his fingers, doctor Mazee located the old scar from Ion's heart operation three years ago under his fur, as he made an incision down the centre of Ion's small chest, trying his best to cut down the same line as before. Blood started dripping out from the cut but was quickly cauterized by going down the incision again with an electronic scalpel, as layers and layers of Ion's chest skin was parted through until they reached the breast bone, the closure plates from the other heart surgery still present on Ion's sternum. \"Drill\" doctor Mazee called out as doctor Dague handed him a surgical drill to which he proceeded to unscrew the sternal plates, \"looks like it fully healed from the last time\" doctor Mazee started saying, \"going to need the full saw\" he continued as he was handed the sternal saw. \"Lungs down\" doctor Mazee called out as doctor Dague fiddled with Ion's oxygen pump so it would suck all the air out of his lungs, leaving them deflated so they could cut apart the sternum without damaging them, as fully inflated lungs were very close to the breastbone. \n\nThe saw turned on as doctor Mazee made his cut up Ion's sternum, \"ok lungs up\" he called out as doctor Dague allowed oxygen to flow through Ion's mask once more, letting him breathe again as his lungs filled back up with air. \"Retractor\" doctor Mazee called out as doctor Dague inserted the retractor into Ion's chest, turning the crank slowly as Ion's incision spread apart, the sides of both his lungs could be seen as well as pulsing tissues between them. Carefully, doctor Mazee cut apart the pulsing tissues as a bit of fluid leaked out which was quickly suctioned by doctor Dague with a special tool, as Ion's beating heart was finally in view, doctor Mazee placed his hand into Ion's chest and did a small physical examination of Ion's heart, seeing if there was any exterior abnormalities. \"Well everything feel good, the old incision into the heart wall healed correctly\" doctor Mazee started saying as doctor Dague did his own examination, \"yes it seams it has, we will cut through the same spot to reduce adding any extra scar tissue, the mitral valve should be exposed enough to make our repairs as we are only doing a cleaning correct?\" doctor Dague asked his student, \"correct\" doctor Mazee replied, \"no valve replacement should be necessary at least this time.\" \"Good\" doctor Dague answered back, \"now lets get him on bypass and get in and out of his heart as quickly as possible, I don't like leaving someone so young without a heart beat for too long of a time.\" \"Sure thing\" doctor Mazee responded as he spent the next little while carefully connection Ion's circulatory system to the bypass machine. \"Alright I think we are ready\" doctor Mazee said as he placed a surgical clamp on Ion's aorta, \"machine on\" he called out as doctor Dague turned on the bypass machine, causing Ion's blood to flow through it to get oxygenated before being placed back into his body, doctor Mazee then took a needle and injected it's contents into Ion's heart, causing it to beat slower and slower before it stopped beating entirely, causing one of the lines on the heart monitor to flatline, the sound was turned off as the bypass machine was acting as ion's heart for the time being, as doctor Dague made a cup of ice and water and poured it into Ion's chest, making sure to cover Ion's heart in the ice cold liquid as the cold would protect the vulnerable heart tissues. Doctor Mazee called out for the scalpel once more as he made an incision into Ion's heart down the same line as three years ago, exposing Ion's damaged mitral valve, \"ok lets get this done quick but correctly\" doctor Dague said and doctor Mazee nodded as he got to work removing as much of the scar tissue on Ion's mitral valve as he could without causing any more damage, it took a while but it was done with the upmost care. \n\n\"I think proper function can be restored now\" doctor Mazee said as doctor Dague checked over his student's work, \"looks good to me, well done!\" he said, \"now lest get his heart beating again to prevent any other damage.\" \"Roger that\" doctor Mazee responded as he sutured up the incision into Ion's heart tightly, making sure it could take the full force of the beating heart, \"defibrillator\" doctor Mazee called out as doctor Dague handed him two round paddles on a stick, \"turn up the charge to near maximum, the last time I did this I had a hard time getting his heart started again, turns out Ion is a lightning adept so his body absorbs a lot of that energy so we need to overcome the absorption to get his heart beating again\" doctor Mazee continued as doctor Dague nodded turning on full power to the defibrillator. Doctor Mazee squeezed the two paddles against Ion's heart as it started pulsing again, a few more shocks was needed to get it back to a normal rhythm but it was easier then the last time. \"Releasing the clamp\" doctor Mazee called out as he removed the surgical clamp off of Ion's aorta, they waited for all of Ion's blood to drain from the bypass machine back into his body before continuing on with the procedure. \"I want to get a ultrasound of the blood flow through the mitral valve, just to make sure everything it working ok\" doctor Dague said as doctor Mazee nodded and set up the ultrasound machine and proceeded to image Ion's heart, \"the flow is looking normal, the valve seams to be keeping the blood from backfilling now, so I would say it is a success\" doctor Mazee said as doctor Dague continued to look at the screen, \"it looks good for now but I do see the valve not fully closing, but I think it is the best we can do for now but I think he would need to have the valve replaced before his mid twenties and not into his thirties as first hoped\" doctor Dague added. \"But that is still ten to twelve years away, still better then four to five years from now, the longer he can keep his normal valve the better in the long run\" doctor Mazee cut in, \"that is true but it is still worth noting that the replacement time is sooner then hoped, especially since he would still be just a young man when it would need to happen\" doctor Dague responded, \"again that doesn't mean what we did here didn't help Ion in the long run, I would still of recommended this surgery even if it only gave Ion ten more years of his normal valve, as you said the longer he has it, the better for him.\" Doctor Mazee nodded in response to doctor Dague's remarks as he removed the tube for the bypass machine from Ion's body, before carefully closing the tissue layers around Ion's heart, they replaced the sternal closure plates as they stitched Ion's chest back together, finishing up with a thick strip a gauze tapped over the closed incision. \n\nIon was carefully placed back on the gurney and returned to the private hospital room where he would be monitored twenty-four seven the next couple of days, waiting for him there were his parents and his two friends Flint and Zephyr. \"How is he doing?\" Ivan asked with Ionia anxiously waiting for the news, as Flint and Zephyr went over to Ion's side to check up on their friend, \"well his heart is functioning normally again, we cleaned off as much scar tissue as we could but unfortunately we could only give him ten to maybe twelve years before his mitral valve would need to be replaced, not the twenty to twenty-five years we hoped\" doctor Mazee started saying, \"this could be due to the severity of the rheumatic fever Ion had or because of the slightly weakened tissues around his mitral valve from when we extracted tissue samples three years ago. \"Wait, does this mean this is my fault?\" Flint spoke out with a bit of panic in his voice, \"is Ion now having a heart defect because he gave some of his tissues to me?\" Flint continued with tears in his eyes. Ivan walked over to Flint and knelt down to his level, placing a hand on his shoulder, \"none of this is your fault or anyone's but my own as I didn't treat Ion's strep throat properly\" Ivan started saying as Flint was still sobbing, \"there is no doubt in my mind that Ion would still undergo the surgery for you three years ago, even knowing this would happen to him, you know how much he cares about you\" Ivan continued as Flint wiped his eyes, \"you think so?\" Flint asked, \"I know so\" Ivan replied back, \"now I think the best thing for him is to have you by his side as well as Zephyr but you are also the one who can help Ion the most through this tough time, do you think you can do that for me?\" \" I think so\" Flint replied as he went back to Ion's side and held his hand, \"so when do you think we can wake him?\" Ivan asked, \"it would make those boys feel a bit better seeing that Ion is ok\" \"soon\" doctor Mazee responded, \"we just want to make sure Ion's heart is fully stable before pulling him out of the coma, should be a few hours and since it was a small coma, it shouldn't take long for him to wake when we do.\" \"Thank you doctor, for everything\" Ivan replied as he joined Ion's friends and his mother by his side, the rest of the evening was uneventful, Ion's heart stayed stable and he woke up just before midnight to the smiling faces of his friends by his side, not remembering much from the past few days even before being admitted to the hospital which Ivan and Ionia thought would be for the best, the hard part was now over, Ion and his friends and family could focus on making him feel better, getting him back out there to where he could adventure again.\n~ \n\nStory basically continues here: https://inkbunny.net/s/2516442 ",

Blood started dripping out from the cut but was quickly cauterized by going down the incision again with an electronic scalpel, as layers and layers of Ion&#039;s chest skin was parted through until they reached the breast bone, the closure plates from the other heart surgery still present on Ion&#039;s sternum. &quot;Drill&quot; doctor Mazee called out as doctor Dague handed him a surgical drill to which he proceeded to unscrew the sternal plates, &quot;looks like it fully healed from the last time&quot; doctor Mazee started saying, &quot;going to need the full saw&quot; he continued as he was handed the sternal saw. &quot;Lungs down&quot; doctor Mazee called out as doctor Dague fiddled with Ion&#039;s oxygen pump so it would suck all the air out of his lungs, leaving them deflated so they could cut apart the sternum without damaging them, as fully inflated lungs were very close to the breastbone. <br /><br />The saw turned on as doctor Mazee made his cut up Ion&#039;s sternum, &quot;ok lungs up&quot; he called out as doctor Dague allowed oxygen to flow through Ion&#039;s mask once more, letting him breathe again as his lungs filled back up with air. &quot;Retractor&quot; doctor Mazee called out as doctor Dague inserted the retractor into Ion&#039;s chest, turning the crank slowly as Ion&#039;s incision spread apart, the sides of both his lungs could be seen as well as pulsing tissues between them. Carefully, doctor Mazee cut apart the pulsing tissues as a bit of fluid leaked out which was quickly suctioned by doctor Dague with a special tool, as Ion&#039;s beating heart was finally in view, doctor Mazee placed his hand into Ion&#039;s chest and did a small physical examination of Ion&#039;s heart, seeing if there was any exterior abnormalities. &quot;Well everything feel good, the old incision into the heart wall healed correctly&quot; doctor Mazee started saying as doctor Dague did his own examination, &quot;yes it seams it has, we will cut through the same spot to reduce adding any extra scar tissue, the mitral valve should be exposed enough to make our repairs as we are only doing a cleaning correct?&quot; doctor Dague asked his student, &quot;correct&quot; doctor Mazee replied, &quot;no valve replacement should be necessary at least this time.&quot; &quot;Good&quot; doctor Dague answered back, &quot;now lets get him on bypass and get in and out of his heart as quickly as possible, I don&#039;t like leaving someone so young without a heart beat for too long of a time.&quot; &quot;Sure thing&quot; doctor Mazee responded as he spent the next little while carefully connection Ion&#039;s circulatory system to the bypass machine. &quot;Alright I think we are ready&quot; doctor Mazee said as he placed a surgical clamp on Ion&#039;s aorta, &quot;machine on&quot; he called out as doctor Dague turned on the bypass machine, causing Ion&#039;s blood to flow through it to get oxygenated before being placed back into his body, doctor Mazee then took a needle and injected it&#039;s contents into Ion&#039;s heart, causing it to beat slower and slower before it stopped beating entirely, causing one of the lines on the heart monitor to flatline, the sound was turned off as the bypass machine was acting as ion&#039;s heart for the time being, as doctor Dague made a cup of ice and water and poured it into Ion&#039;s chest, making sure to cover Ion&#039;s heart in the ice cold liquid as the cold would protect the vulnerable heart tissues. Doctor Mazee called out for the scalpel once more as he made an incision into Ion&#039;s heart down the same line as three years ago, exposing Ion&#039;s damaged mitral valve, &quot;ok lets get this done quick but correctly&quot; doctor Dague said and doctor Mazee nodded as he got to work removing as much of the scar tissue on Ion&#039;s mitral valve as he could without causing any more damage, it took a while but it was done with the upmost care. <br /><br />&quot;I think proper function can be restored now&quot; doctor Mazee said as doctor Dague checked over his student&#039;s work, &quot;looks good to me, well done!&quot; he said, &quot;now lest get his heart beating again to prevent any other damage.&quot; &quot;Roger that&quot; doctor Mazee responded as he sutured up the incision into Ion&#039;s heart tightly, making sure it could take the full force of the beating heart, &quot;defibrillator&quot; doctor Mazee called out as doctor Dague handed him two round paddles on a stick, &quot;turn up the charge to near maximum, the last time I did this I had a hard time getting his heart started again, turns out Ion is a lightning adept so his body absorbs a lot of that energy so we need to overcome the absorption to get his heart beating again&quot; doctor Mazee continued as doctor Dague nodded turning on full power to the defibrillator. Doctor Mazee squeezed the two paddles against Ion&#039;s heart as it started pulsing again, a few more shocks was needed to get it back to a normal rhythm but it was easier then the last time. &quot;Releasing the clamp&quot; doctor Mazee called out as he removed the surgical clamp off of Ion&#039;s aorta, they waited for all of Ion&#039;s blood to drain from the bypass machine back into his body before continuing on with the procedure. &quot;I want to get a ultrasound of the blood flow through the mitral valve, just to make sure everything it working ok&quot; doctor Dague said as doctor Mazee nodded and set up the ultrasound machine and proceeded to image Ion&#039;s heart, &quot;the flow is looking normal, the valve seams to be keeping the blood from backfilling now, so I would say it is a success&quot; doctor Mazee said as doctor Dague continued to look at the screen, &quot;it looks good for now but I do see the valve not fully closing, but I think it is the best we can do for now but I think he would need to have the valve replaced before his mid twenties and not into his thirties as first hoped&quot; doctor Dague added. &quot; But that is still ten to twelve years away, still better then four to five years from now, the longer he can keep his normal valve the better in the long run&quot; doctor Mazee cut in, &quot;that is true but it is still worth noting that the replacement time is sooner then hoped, especially since he would still be just a young man when it would need to happen&quot; doctor Dague responded, &quot;again that doesn&#039;t mean what we did here didn&#039;t help Ion in the long run, I would still of recommended this surgery even if it only gave Ion ten more years of his normal valve, as you said the longer he has it, the better for him.&quot; Doctor Mazee nodded in response to doctor Dague&#039;s remarks as he removed the tube for the bypass machine from Ion&#039;s body, before carefully closing the tissue layers around Ion&#039;s heart, they replaced the sternal closure plates as they stitched Ion&#039;s chest back together, finishing up with a thick strip a gauze tapped over the closed incision. <br /><br />Ion was carefully placed back on the gurney and returned to the private hospital room where he would be monitored twenty-four seven the next couple of days, waiting for him there were his parents and his two friends Flint and Zephyr. &quot; How is he doing?&quot; Ivan asked with Ionia anxiously waiting for the news, as Flint and Zephyr went over to Ion&#039;s side to check up on their friend, &quot;well his heart is functioning normally again, we cleaned off as much scar tissue as we could but unfortunately we could only give him ten to maybe twelve years before his mitral valve would need to be replaced, not the twenty to twenty-five years we hoped&quot; doctor Mazee started saying, &quot;this could be due to the severity of the rheumatic fever Ion had or because of the slightly weakened tissues around his mitral valve from when we extracted tissue samples three years ago. &quot;Wait, does this mean this is my fault?&quot; Flint spoke out with a bit of panic in his voice, &quot;is Ion now having a heart defect because he gave some of his tissues to me?&quot; Flint continued with tears in his eyes. Ivan walked over to Flint and knelt down to his level, placing a hand on his shoulder, &quot;none of this is your fault or anyone&#039;s but my own as I didn&#039;t treat Ion&#039;s strep throat properly&quot; Ivan started saying as Flint was still sobbing, &quot;there is no doubt in my mind that Ion would still undergo the surgery for you three years ago, even knowing this would happen to him, you know how much he cares about you&quot; Ivan continued as Flint wiped his eyes, &quot;you think so?&quot; Flint asked, &quot;I know so&quot; Ivan replied back, &quot;now I think the best thing for him is to have you by his side as well as Zephyr but you are also the one who can help Ion the most through this tough time, do you think you can do that for me?&quot; &quot; I think so&quot; Flint replied as he went back to Ion&#039;s side and held his hand, &quot;so when do you think we can wake him?&quot; Ivan asked, &quot;it would make those boys feel a bit better seeing that Ion is ok&quot; &quot;soon&quot; doctor Mazee responded, &quot;we just want to make sure Ion&#039;s heart is fully stable before pulling him out of the coma, should be a few hours and since it was a small coma, it shouldn&#039;t take long for him to wake when we do.&quot; &quot;Thank you doctor, for everything&quot; Ivan replied as he joined Ion&#039;s friends and his mother by his side, the rest of the evening was uneventful, Ion&#039;s heart stayed stable and he woke up just before midnight to the smiling faces of his friends by his side, not remembering much from the past few days even before being admitted to the hospital which Ivan and Ionia thought would be for the best, the hard part was now over, Ion and his friends and family could focus on making him feel better, getting him back out there to where he could adventure again.<br />~&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <br /><br />Story basically continues here: <a href=\"https://inkbunny.net/s/2516442\" rel=\"nofollow\">https://inkbunny.net/s/2516442</a>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>",
