"description": "Art by Manex57 on FurAffinity\n\nReally wanted to try writing a Horror Story with the time of year it is, as a way to try out a different theme from my normal Fantasy or regular Medical stuff, I know this will not be everyone's cup of tea but I want to expand my writing, it will come in two parts. This story can either be canon or non-canon as this situation is very plausible in my world\n\nPart 1 - Experiments of the Heart: https://inkbunny.net/s/2285935\nPart 2 - Experiments of the Lover: Current\n\n~\nLight was starting to enter the boy's eyes, as the thick stench of blood also filled his nostrils, both old and freshly drawn. He was chained to a wall where a man dressed in bloodied surgical scrubs stood in front of him, calling over to what seamed to be his assistant as the boy was quickly unchained from the wall, only to be placed on a cold operating table and chained to that. The boy's eyes widened as the man in the bloodied scrubs came to his side, placing a blanket over his lower region, \"I wonder what secrets your body is hiding\" he started to say, \"well I will admit that is not the important part, you are just a means to another experiment I am conducting, I wish I could do more with a specimen such as you, Zephyr the Reaperfox, but something else I want to test deserves more attention\" he continued, motioning in the direction to Zephyr's right. Zephyr now wide awake and feeling a bit of anxiety at the situation he was now in, slowly turned his head in the direction the man was signaling, only to see a horror before his eyes. Lying on the operating table next to him, was his mate and lover Ion, his chest viscously cut open with lots of thick blood pouring out, Zephyr could see Ion was still alive, he could see his synthetic heart beating above his open chest line, the first time he had ever saw that miracle device that had saved Ion's life out in the open, but something he should have never seen. \"Don't worry he is hanging in there, at least for now, that heart in his chest quite some piece of technology and I want to test it's limits\" the man said as his assistant came back into the room and set up some sort of recording device over Ion's open chest. \"And now it is your turn to help me fulfill that test\" the man said as he turned Zephyr's head straight up, placing a oxygen mask over his mouth and nose as well. The man now placed his hands on Zephyr's chest and felt all over, \"no markings well that is unfortunate\" he said with a disappointed look on his face. He then slid his hands down and felt around Zephyr's soft fluffy belly where now an excited look appeared on his face, \"well now there are some hidden scars here, so this is where your secrets are hiding and I think it is time to let them out\" he continued, grabbing a scalpel in his hand.\n\nThe man drew an imaginary line down the centre of Zephyr's belly with is finger, before placing the scalpel at the top and pushing it in deeply, blood starting to spew out and stain the soft fur. Zephyr's eyes filled with fear as he was trying to contain himself from the pain of being stabbed but before long, the man slid his scalpel down, cutting apart the fur on Zephyr's belly as thick blood started to pour out, Zephyr couldn't contain himself any longer. Zephyr let out a blood curdling scream as the man continued his cutting, going back over and over to cut away the layer's of Zephyr's fur, blood darkly soaking it. After what seamed like an eternity, the man placed his scalpel back on the side table before grabbing a retractor and inserting it into the newly made incision in Zephyr's belly. Turning the crank, Zephyr could feel his body being pulled apart, his fur ripping form the tension the retractor was putting on it, not long after the man started having a hard time with the crank before giving it one last hard turn as the two side of Zephyr's belly were stretched tightly, exposing his abdominal cavity. Zephyr then felt the man place his hands inside of him, poking around his delicate organs, it was a violating feeling. \"hmm, so it seams you have felt the shock of hot lead piercing your insides, I would have loved to see what you looked like with bullet holes in your body, maybe that is something I can replicate a bit latter, \" the man started to say before continuing, \"but I am more curious at what caused this, you seam to be missing your spleen.\" The man continued to move around Zephyr's insides, eager to find any more secretes but the look of disappointment came back to his face, \"well this is getting boring, i thought there would be more going on with you, being a Hunter and all, oh well I guess I can get onto the torment now\" the man said as Zephyr's heart sank. Placing both of his hands now into Zephyr's opened belly, he grabbed tightly hold of some of his bowels, pulling them out hard as Zephyr let out a cry of pain, seemingly to the delight of his tormentor. \"Thats what I like to hear, you are a lot more lively then your mate over there, though he now seams to be getting restless\" the man said looking over towards Ion's direction. Zephyr turned his head as well, trying to erase the look of pain on his face, he did not want Ion to see it. Looking over, he could see the man's assistant violently holding Ion's head down, his sight forced squarely on Zephyr's torment. Zephyr saw the look of frustration in Ion's face, he was trying to fight back but couldn't muster the strength to do so. Zephyr tried to give a reassuring look but his head was quickly forced back straight up, as he had to let out another cry of pain as the man pulled out more of his intestines. \n\nBreathing heavily, many thoughts passed through Zephyr's mind, the pain was intense, his mate was also in great pain, that fact the he was probably going to die here, the fact that him and Ion were probably going to die. Zephyr's mind was snapped back to reality, as a immense sensation of pain started to radiate out of his gut, as he saw the man hold up what looked like of of his kidneys. Zephyr couldn't hold it in, letting out a loud blood curdling scream, as the man took his scalpel and started cutting into Zephyr's other abdominal organs. \"yes, yes, I can't wait to see the results of your mate's heart, him seeing you getting all cut up, screaming out in beautiful pain, it is going to be a wonderous sight!\" the man gleefully told Zephyr, as he seamed to be just randomly cutting up his internal organs, as Zephyr just felt an enormous amount of blood pool around him. The man then just suddenly shoved the scalpel deep into Zephyr's belly, making him cry out in deep pain again, \"good, good, I need to hear you do that more, as I need to keep your mate in his stressful state\" the man continued. Zephyr, almost crying now, turned his head back towards Ion, he saw him putting up a good fight but was not standing a chance with the assistant's grasp, Zephyr just closed his eyes in deep sorrow, \"sorry Ion I wish I could have done more, I just hope you can forgive me in the beyond...\" Zephyr thought as his pain continued to increase, as did the blood pooling around him. Then suddenly another loud scream filled Zephyr's ears, though it wasn't the sound of Ion's voice, but that of the... assistant? Zephyr opened his eyes once more, seeing in awe of a claw impaled through the chest of the assistant, their heart in that claw's grasp. The claw then tightly closed, crushing that heart as blood started to splatter all over as the assistant fell hard to the ground, dead. The being that the claw belonged to started to get up from the table he was on, as the chains shackled to it's legs suddenly shattered, it's eyes full of bloodlust that gave a murderous stare at the man who was gutting Zephyr. \"Wait... how are... how are you able to move after all that trauma?\" the man called out as the shadows over the figure dissipated as he stepped into the bright light hovering over Zephyr's operating table. \n\nStanding there was Ion, his chest still torn open, his synthetic heart still exposed and beating powerfully, though it was not Ion the Stormfox standing there, it was Ion the Dragonfox. \"He must have transformed from all the stress\" Zephyr thought, \"but still Ion you are in great danger please be careful!\" Ion lunged at the man that had experimented on them, his blood splattering everywhere as he pined the man down onto the ground, with Ion kneeling over him, his synthetic heart now dangling just out of his chest. Ion started to ding his claws into the man's throat, as he with every ounce of his strength reached out and clutched Ion's exposed synthetic heart, trying his very best to rip it out of Ion's chest. Ion clenched his teeth as he struggled against his slowing heart rate as the man pulled harder, fully fixated on just tearing it out. But it was all for naught, Ion with every ounce of his strength pierced his claws into the man's chest, clutching his heart in his hands before violently yanking it out, crushing it in a rain of blood. The man gasp as he took his last breath, his grasp on Ion's synthetic heart weakening before his arm dropped hard to the ground, the light fading from his eyes as he too now was dead. Ion clenched his chest with his hand as he started to get up, trying to keep his dangling synthetic heart in place as he stumbled over to Zephyr on the operating table. Zephyr was still in shock while still trying to deal with the immense pain he was in, looked over to meet Ion's eyes with a relieved look on his face, as Ion tore off his chains before collapsing to the ground. The anxiety hit back at Zephyr as he clenched his gut as he sat up, trying to keep his organs inside of him though it was tough. Getting off the table he fell to the ground as well, landing on his front right beside Ion who was lying on his back with his synthetic heart exposed to the air. Zephyr mustered all the energy he could as he crawled to meet Ion eye to eye, him having reverted to his fox form, turning him onto his side, pulling him closer into somewhat of an embrace. As their bodied met, Zephyr could heel Ion's synthetic heart beating slowly against his chest, while Ion could feel all of Zephyr's abdominal organs pushing against his own belly fur, but most important of all at least they were together, they could go out in the loving embrace of each other arms. The blood loss was getting to them both as they though they could hear some voices off in the distance, voices that sounded familiar but then it passed as the two boys fell into deep darkness, their fates all in the hands of whoever was there, if there was anybody.....\n~",

Zephyr now wide awake and feeling a bit of anxiety at the situation he was now in, slowly turned his head in the direction the man was signaling, only to see a horror before his eyes. Lying on the operating table next to him, was his mate and lover Ion, his chest viscously cut open with lots of thick blood pouring out, Zephyr could see Ion was still alive, he could see his synthetic heart beating above his open chest line, the first time he had ever saw that miracle device that had saved Ion's life out in the open, but something he should have never seen. "Don't worry he is hanging in there, at least for now, that heart in his chest quite some piece of technology and I want to test it's limits" the man said as his assistant came back into the room and set up some sort of recording device over Ion's open chest. "And now it is your turn to help me fulfill that test" the man said as he turned Zephyr's head straight up, placing a oxygen mask over his mouth and nose as well. The man now placed his hands on Zephyr's chest and felt all over, "no markings well that is unfortunate" he said with a disappointed look on his face. He then slid his hands down and felt around Zephyr's soft fluffy belly where now an excited look appeared on his face, "well now there are some hidden scars here, so this is where your secrets are hiding and I think it is time to let them out" he continued, grabbing a scalpel in his hand.
The man drew an imaginary line down the centre of Zephyr's belly with is finger, before placing the scalpel at the top and pushing it in deeply, blood starting to spew out and stain the soft fur. Zephyr's eyes filled with fear as he was trying to contain himself from the pain of being stabbed but before long, the man slid his scalpel down, cutting apart the fur on Zephyr's belly as thick blood started to pour out, Zephyr couldn't contain himself any longer. Zephyr let out a blood curdling scream as the man continued his cutting, going back over and over to cut away the layer's of Zephyr's fur, blood darkly soaking it. After what seamed like an eternity, the man placed his scalpel back on the side table before grabbing a retractor and inserting it into the newly made incision in Zephyr's belly. Turning the crank, Zephyr could feel his body being pulled apart, his fur ripping form the tension the retractor was putting on it, not long after the man started having a hard time with the crank before giving it one last hard turn as the two side of Zephyr's belly were stretched tightly, exposing his abdominal cavity. Zephyr then felt the man place his hands inside of him, poking around his delicate organs, it was a violating feeling. "hmm, so it seams you have felt the shock of hot lead piercing your insides, I would have loved to see what you looked like with bullet holes in your body, maybe that is something I can replicate a bit latter, " the man started to say before continuing, "but I am more curious at what caused this, you seam to be missing your spleen." The man continued to move around Zephyr's insides, eager to find any more secretes but the look of disappointment came back to his face, "well this is getting boring, i thought there would be more going on with you, being a Hunter and all, oh well I guess I can get onto the torment now" the man said as Zephyr's heart sank. Placing both of his hands now into Zephyr's opened belly, he grabbed tightly hold of some of his bowels, pulling them out hard as Zephyr let out a cry of pain, seemingly to the delight of his tormentor. "Thats what I like to hear, you are a lot more lively then your mate over there, though he now seams to be getting restless" the man said looking over towards Ion's direction. Zephyr turned his head as well, trying to erase the look of pain on his face, he did not want Ion to see it. Looking over, he could see the man's assistant violently holding Ion's head down, his sight forced squarely on Zephyr's torment. Zephyr saw the look of frustration in Ion's face, he was trying to fight back but couldn't muster the strength to do so. Zephyr tried to give a reassuring look but his head was quickly forced back straight up, as he had to let out another cry of pain as the man pulled out more of his intestines.
Breathing heavily, many thoughts passed through Zephyr's mind, the pain was intense, his mate was also in great pain, that fact the he was probably going to die here, the fact that him and Ion were probably going to die. Zephyr's mind was snapped back to reality, as a immense sensation of pain started to radiate out of his gut, as he saw the man hold up what looked like of of his kidneys. Zephyr couldn't hold it in, letting out a loud blood curdling scream, as the man took his scalpel and started cutting into Zephyr's other abdominal organs. "yes, yes, I can't wait to see the results of your mate's heart, him seeing you getting all cut up, screaming out in beautiful pain, it is going to be a wonderous sight!" the man gleefully told Zephyr, as he seamed to be just randomly cutting up his internal organs, as Zephyr just felt an enormous amount of blood pool around him. The man then just suddenly shoved the scalpel deep into Zephyr's belly, making him cry out in deep pain again, "good, good, I need to hear you do that more, as I need to keep your mate in his stressful state" the man continued. Zephyr, almost crying now, turned his head back towards Ion, he saw him putting up a good fight but was not standing a chance with the assistant's grasp, Zephyr just closed his eyes in deep sorrow, "sorry Ion I wish I could have done more, I just hope you can forgive me in the beyond..." Zephyr thought as his pain continued to increase, as did the blood pooling around him. Then suddenly another loud scream filled Zephyr's ears, though it wasn't the sound of Ion's voice, but that of the... assistant? Zephyr opened his eyes once more, seeing in awe of a claw impaled through the chest of the assistant, their heart in that claw's grasp. The claw then tightly closed, crushing that heart as blood started to splatter all over as the assistant fell hard to the ground, dead. The being that the claw belonged to started to get up from the table he was on, as the chains shackled to it's legs suddenly shattered, it's eyes full of bloodlust that gave a murderous stare at the man who was gutting Zephyr. "Wait... how are... how are you able to move after all that trauma?" the man called out as the shadows over the figure dissipated as he stepped into the bright light hovering over Zephyr's operating table.
Standing there was Ion, his chest still torn open, his synthetic heart still exposed and beating powerfully, though it was not Ion the Stormfox standing there, it was Ion the Dragonfox. "He must have transformed from all the stress" Zephyr thought, "but still Ion you are in great danger please be careful!" Ion lunged at the man that had experimented on them, his blood splattering everywhere as he pined the man down onto the ground, with Ion kneeling over him, his synthetic heart now dangling just out of his chest. Ion started to ding his claws into the man's throat, as he with every ounce of his strength reached out and clutched Ion's exposed synthetic heart, trying his very best to rip it out of Ion's chest. Ion clenched his teeth as he struggled against his slowing heart rate as the man pulled harder, fully fixated on just tearing it out. But it was all for naught, Ion with every ounce of his strength pierced his claws into the man's chest, clutching his heart in his hands before violently yanking it out, crushing it in a rain of blood. The man gasp as he took his last breath, his grasp on Ion's synthetic heart weakening before his arm dropped hard to the ground, the light fading from his eyes as he too now was dead. Ion clenched his chest with his hand as he started to get up, trying to keep his dangling synthetic heart in place as he stumbled over to Zephyr on the operating table. Zephyr was still in shock while still trying to deal with the immense pain he was in, looked over to meet Ion's eyes with a relieved look on his face, as Ion tore off his chains before collapsing to the ground. The anxiety hit back at Zephyr as he clenched his gut as he sat up, trying to keep his organs inside of him though it was tough. Getting off the table he fell to the ground as well, landing on his front right beside Ion who was lying on his back with his synthetic heart exposed to the air. Zephyr mustered all the energy he could as he crawled to meet Ion eye to eye, him having reverted to his fox form, turning him onto his side, pulling him closer into somewhat of an embrace. As their bodied met, Zephyr could heel Ion's synthetic heart beating slowly against his chest, while Ion could feel all of Zephyr's abdominal organs pushing against his own belly fur, but most important of all at least they were together, they could go out in the loving embrace of each other arms. The blood loss was getting to them both as they though they could hear some voices off in the distance, voices that sounded familiar but then it passed as the two boys fell into deep darkness, their fates all in the hands of whoever was there, if there was anybody.....
