Meeka trying to comfort Zephyr as he sees just how badly Ion got hurt while at the same time trying to prepare him for the worst, allowing him to say his goodbyes as Ion had a high probability of succumbing to his injuries. Zephyr, not wanting to leave Ion's side, was eventually convinced by Meeka to allow her to take him home so he could get some much needed rest, as if Ion were to survive, he would need Zephyr at his best to help him along. Meeka took Zephyr home and stayed with him for the night, staying just outside of his room just in case he needed anything and to comfort Zephyr further if the unwanted call came in. Luckily the ight was uneventful and Zephyr was able to get the rest he needed, wanting to go back to the Hospital right away to see his mate again, Meeka too him back just before her shift began and they were greeted with some more encouraging news\n\nScene continues basically here https://inkbunny.net/s/2006335 though as stated here it would be the next day instead of just right after surgery.
