Virgil stood over the fallen Ion, who was now whimpering in severe pain, struggling to take a breath as he began choking on his own blood. Virgil raised his sword over Ion's chest, a full smile on his face ready to plunge it in, \"I... I got to act fast, I need to find a way to save Ion!\" Zephyr thought as his body started shaking, viewing the nightmare unfolding in front of his eyes the sensation of fear could not leave him, \"Ion you pushed me out of the way, you saved my life, I now need to do the same.\" Zephyr had no time to loose, he quickly got up from his kneeing position and charged in, catching Virgil off guard, being able to blow him quite a distance away with his wind psynergy. With no time to spare Zephyr then turned his attention to his fallen mate, he almost teared up seeing Ion lying there, covered in blood with his left arm severed off and some of his bowels pushing out from the large gash across his belly, but he had to stay strong, Ion's survival depended on him, he would not let him die. Zephyr quickly located Ion's severed left arm, picking it up along with Ion's sword before going to his side, Zephyr began to push back in whatever he could of Ion's bowels as Ion howled out louder in distress. \"I know this hurts a lot but I need to put these back in to get you out of here\" Zephyr tried to calmly said to Ion, as he could see him struggling with the pain, doing what he could Zephyr then started to pick Ion up off the ground, only to find that Virgil was now slowly walking towards them. Zephyr struggled a bit trying to drag Ion away, taking him into the nearby forest to hopefully loose Virgil along the way, though Ion was leaving a fairly large trail of blood along the snowy cold ground, the amount became very worrying to Zephyr, he hoped Ion would have enough blood left to survive until he could get him some help. In the midst of trying to drag Ion through the woods, Zephyr tripped on a small extending branch, dropping Ion's severed arm along with Ion's sword and his own scythe as Ion's body fell on top of him. Ion's arm started rolling across the snowy ground only to be stopped and stepped on by the one who severed it off. \"Well what have we here? You intend to die along with you little friend here?\" the wolf snarkly called out, \"you know you could have left the dead meat behind and got away, you know what, I may just let you go if you do that now, what do you say? Your life is worth way more then his don't you think?\"\n\nThat thought never crossed Zephyr's mind, Ion may have sacrificed himself for him but he could not leave Ion behind like this, not now not ever if he had to go down with him then so be it. \"My answer is no! Besides, I still know your secrete, it is not like you would have let me go anyways\" Zephyr answered with a determined voice \"Well you are smarter than I thought seeing through my ruse like that\" Virgil started saying, \"well your reward for being such a clever fox is a quick death!\" Virgil cried out as he lunged towards Zephyr, though he was ready, his wind surrounded himself and Io pushing out in great force, knocking back Virgil again as Zephyr quickly picked up Ion's body, placing it on his back and using his wind again, Zephyr dashed through the woods, back towards the gates of Eios, the city was close by, he could do this, he could get Ion to help. \"You think you can get away that easily?\" Zephyr could hear Virgil yell out from behind, he was on their trail as Ion was leaking so much blood that it made a path straight towards them. Zephyr had to think fast otherwise Virgil would catch up and this time Zephyr didn't think he could knock him away with a wind blast, Virgil would have caught on by now. \"Sorry Ion, please hang in there a bit longer, I need to use a bit more of your blood\" Zephyr called out to a dazed but still whimpering Ion, as he darted in different directions, leaving behind trails of Ion's blood on the snow in all of the directions, this was the only way Zephyr could think of to get the wolf off his tail, Ion was better at this sort of thing then him but he was in no condition to come up with a escape plan, Zephyr just had to trust his own instincts. When he thought he made enough of the false trails, Zephyr with Ion on his back but now weaponless, continued on towards Eios, knowing that Virgil would not dare go into a city that large, remembering what Ion had told him earlier in the day and with the amount of Hunters there looking for him as their number one target. As he got closer to the city, Zephyr could no longer feel Virgil's presence, \"I think it worked, I think we lost him\" Zephyr called out to Ion who now was silent and fully unconscious, the silence coming from Ion made Zephyr's heart sink. \"Please still be alive, please hang on I am almost there\" Zephyr cried out with tears in his eyes as he flew past the gates of Eios and down the main street, bystanders looking on in horror of the blood trail that was left behind as Zephyr entered the Hunter's special hospital.....\n~ ",

Virgil cried out as he lunged towards Zephyr, though he was ready, his wind surrounded himself and Io pushing out in great force, knocking back Virgil again as Zephyr quickly picked up Ion's body, placing it on his back and using his wind again, Zephyr dashed through the woods, back towards the gates of Eios, the city was close by, he could do this, he could get Ion to help. "You think you can get away that easily?" Zephyr could hear Virgil yell out from behind, he was on their trail as Ion was leaking so much blood that it made a path straight towards them. Zephyr had to think fast otherwise Virgil would catch up and this time Zephyr didn't think he could knock him away with a wind blast, Virgil would have caught on by now. "Sorry Ion, please hang in there a bit longer, I need to use a bit more of your blood" Zephyr called out to a dazed but still whimpering Ion, as he darted in different directions, leaving behind trails of Ion's blood on the snow in all of the directions, this was the only way Zephyr could think of to get the wolf off his tail, Ion was better at this sort of thing then him but he was in no condition to come up with a escape plan, Zephyr just had to trust his own instincts. When he thought he made enough of the false trails, Zephyr with Ion on his back but now weaponless, continued on towards Eios, knowing that Virgil would not dare go into a city that large, remembering what Ion had told him earlier in the day and with the amount of Hunters there looking for him as their number one target. As he got closer to the city, Zephyr could no longer feel Virgil's presence, "I think it worked, I think we lost him" Zephyr called out to Ion who now was silent and fully unconscious, the silence coming from Ion made Zephyr's heart sink. "Please still be alive, please hang on I am almost there" Zephyr cried out with tears in his eyes as he flew past the gates of Eios and down the main street, bystanders looking on in horror of the blood trail that was left behind as Zephyr entered the Hunter's special hospital.....
