"description": "Art by gutzkinq on FurAffinity\n\nA commission I ordered for Goretober 2020\n\nWhile this story is not canon, the way Krola dies (by gunshot wounds) will be canon in a different story in the future, he will still be absorbed (his soul at least) by his big brother on his path to the Kyuubi\n\n~\nKrola was happier then he had ever felt, he had been accepted into the Contract Hunters like his older brother and he could finally leave behind the life he was born into, the life of a pirate. He was on his way to meet with his older brother Ion, as the two of them were going to have a night on in the town to celebrate but suddenly something was amiss. Krola could feel a large group following him and as he tried to loose them, they were able to get in front and surround him. He recognized the people of this group, they were his pirate family, his former pirate family as he wanted to leave them but it seams they had other intensions in mind. Suddenly some of them started to close in on him and while Krola tried to fight back, he was quickly pinned down and ended up getting dragged to a nearby alley. The group forcibly stripped all of Krola's clothing off, leaving him lying dazed and naked in the alleyway before one of them forcibly pulled Krola to his feet before rejoining the small crowd blocking the exit. The crowd then brandished small pistols as Krola was then told that leaving the pirate family was treason and he would pay the price with his blood. Before Krola could even say anything against this claim, a gunshot rang out as Krola could feel a very sharp pain in his gut, followed by the feeling of warm liquid running down his fur. Krola stood there in shock realizing he had been shot, before another gunshot rang out, then another, each one causing a severe stabbing pain in his gut followed by the feeling of even more warm liquid. Krola fell to his knees, clutching his stomach as blood quickly filled his hand, dripping out between his fingers and onto his now erect member. The gunshots still rang out, with the stabbing pain starting to now run up his abdomen and to his chest, piercing any number of his internal organs along the way. Krola now found it hard to breathe as he was sure now that a couple had pierced his lungs, his throat started filling up with blood, basically confirming that to him. His fur was now soaked in his own blood, there was nothing he could do to stop the enormous amount of bleeding from his wounds, he was going to die here, in this alleyway. Krola clutched his gut tighter as his hand was just covered in his own blood as tears started running down his face, his only though was that he was sorry he could not make the meeting with his brother, that he would never become a Hunter like him. \n\nThe gunshots seamed to stop as Krola was hanging in there, still trying to support himself with one hand while clutching his belly with the other amid a pool of his own blood around him. One of his former family members started to approach him, placing his pistol right up against Krola's chest, as he went to look up at his former family member, they pulled the trigger, causing an explosion of blood to shoot out of his chest and back, as Krola could feel the bullet pass through him, basically exploding his heart. Krola fell onto his back as he had no energy left, he could hardly breathe and he could feel his heart struggling to beat as the feeling of his warm blood started filling his chest cavity. Krola's sight was fading but he could sense there was something going on around him, there was now the sent of more blood then just his own as out of the corner of his eye he could see a figure coming towards him, as what he though were the bodies of his former family were all laying around him. Ion had come to his side, placing his hand on Krola's chest, Krola could feel him trying to perform CPR on him, telling him that he needed to hang on. Then a smile could be scene on Krola's face as at least his brother would be beside him as he passed on. Krola then tried to tell Ion it was ok, that he needed to let go, but Ion then placed a finger over his lips, telling Krola that there was nothing to fear, that he would make sure he would live on in some form. Ion then pressed his lips against Krola's which caught Krola by surprise as he started to feel his body getting colder, like he was being spirited away but the feeling of belonging then soon came as he felt another presence embrace him in this dreamscape, before his own though was gone. Ion still kneeled beside the body of his brother, it was now cold as Krola's soul had left it, Ion made sure to close the eyes before carrying Krola's lifeless body on his back to give it a proper burial, placing a hand over his chest knowing that he was not really gone, thinking to himself that Flint now had someone to keep him company in the sometimes lonely dreamscape\n~ ",
