This made things a lot more tight as Ion only got a small amounts each month from the Hunter's Injury Reserve and the same with Zephyr for a short while as he was the primary caretaker for Ion as he had to undergo over a dozen surgeries including a painful mechanical arm graft and rehabilitation. Though that was only for this first year after Ion's injury as Ion showed improvement after around eight months which led to some questioning of a caretaker for him and then at the end of the year when his mechanical arm was grafted it was deemed he no longer needed a 'caretaker' and Zephyr was cut off. Now with Ion just coming off a major injury and not yet cleared to resume being a Hunter, he still had his portion of the Injury reserve coming in but it was not enough to sustain as it was lower then some of the lowest Contracts they took on before and with Zephyr out of action for the past year as well with little experience, even singleton contracts for him would be hard to come by, the boys had to find another way to keep their funds up and Ion didn't want to rely on his family's gold.
