no doubt about it, the day was perfect, to the point that you would think that it was something out of a fairy tail. The birds were singing songs of happiness and peace, like they knew of the wedding that was about to take place, like they were singing their blessing to the soon to be wed couple. The door to the temple swung open, a large polar bear, dressed in traditional robes stepped into the doorway and nodded to the raccoon dog and the horse, signalling that it was time.\n\nThere was nothing said as the procession started, the priest leading the way, chanting a blessing softly, in a rhythmic, almost song like tone, behind him, the soon to be wedded pair, Hana and Zeus followed, hands held tight, smiles on their faces as they walked down the path. The trees to the side of them seemed to make an arch, the foliage alite with the colors of the coming fall. Behind them, the young male alpaca carried the umbrella, tilting it to protect the lover’s from the sun. \n\nBehind him came the family, the proud parents of the to be wedded. Chou wore a smile as she walked, a tear rolling down her eye. The pride and happiness that she felt, bubbling up and warming her to the core, all the bad of her past washing away with each step that she took, the events of the past all dissolving in her mind to make room for the things that she had experienced the time here. The getting to know the new additions to the family better, getting to help her daughter with the kimono that she was wearing, styling her hair, every little detail worked itself into her memories. Taking in everything, every memory planting itself into her mind, only to grow with time.\n\nPulling up the line behind her, Tabitha and Alexander, no doubt holding the same pride and soul warming happiness that their new family held. Arm and arm they walked, memories and flashes of their son playing through their eyes as they got a look at the man that he had become, along with the memories that he and his wife would make as they built their life together. It did bring back thoughts of their time together as husband and wife. The same tears of happiness and pride that hid behind everyone’s eyes, threatening to free themselves at a moment's notice.\n\nBehind the proud mother and father, came the now whole family. Brain, with the pillow held safety and pride in the role that he was given, Shannon there to make sure that everything went smoothly. Randy and May, Shanoa, and the rest of the family moving in pairs as they reached their destination.\n\nThe priest was the first there, standing under the arch of the Torri that had been decorated with ribbons and shides. The view beyond the Torri was stunning, the earth seemed to give away to the sea for as far as anyone could see, the trees framing the area perfectly, adding dancing little patches of light as the sun shone through the shifting, wind blown leaves. Standing in front of the priest, Hana held her lover’s hands, looking up to him. Pride, happiness, peace, and countless other emotions showing in her eyes, smile plastered to her muzzle even as a tear would slide down her cheek, flattening the fur there. Soon all of the family and visitors, random onlookers and all had taken their places, it was time for the wedding to start.\n\nOnce everyone was in place, several people let out a few giggles, and oooh and awwws at the sight of the young girl that was walking up the little walkway. The little ferret girl was walking along, tossing out little flower petals, her kimono stirring them up a little as she walked along. Only moments later the youngest of the horse family started walking up the path, the pillow held out happily, smiling at the people as he passed, taking his place beside his brother.\n\n“I would like to thank everyone for joining us for this ceremony.” The priest said smiling to the crowd, “now let's get started.” He said smiling and taking a deep breath. “Groom, repeat after me. Watakushi wa kono josei to kekkonshi.” He said started out, giving Zeus a moment to repeat it.\n\n“Watasushi wa kohno josei to kekkonshit,” the Palomino boy repeated a little hesitantly, attempting to repeat exactly what the priest was saying.\n\nThe smile on the polar bear’s muzzle grew as he listened to the groom. “Fufu to narou to shite imasu.” He spoke. Again the palomino tried his best to repeat the phrase, doing his best but still messing up, but the priest knew that he was trying, that he wanted to share in the raccoon dog’s cultural heritage. \n\nThe priest kept leading them through the vows, coming to the end. Asking if they agreed, the pair replying with “Hai, chikaimasu.”\n\nThat was Brain’s cue to step up, holding the pillow up for the pair to take the rings. Zeus taking the ring meant for his wife, her paw in hand as he carefully slid the ring onto her finger, sealing the deal. Next was Hana’s turn, taking the ring and Zues’s paw, slipping the ring onto his finger, tears rolling down her cheeks at this point, though the smile remained.\n\n“You may kiss the bride.” The bear said smiling at the pair.\n\nThat was all that the raccoon dog needed to hear, closing her eyes as she leaned in, pressing herself close to her lover, murring at the feeling of his arms wrapping around her, muttering an I love you before their muzzles met. The moment that their lips met, it felt like time stood still, like the whole world froze, that everything was at peace and right, the two knew that this was the start of something new and grand, that this was just the start of their lives. The kiss seemed to last for ever, the cheers and laughter of the crowd starting to pour back into their little bubble, they swore that they heard someone making a dirty sounding joke.\n\n“Now for the tradition of San-san-kudo.” The priest said smiling as members of the temple came up to the group, one carrying a small table, quickly setting it up as one of the other’s set out the cups and started filling them with sake. “We need the bride and groom's parents.” He said motioning for them to step up. “First the bride and groom take three sips from each cup.” The bear said motioning to the three cups.\n\nThis part of the ceremony the palomino boy had spent several hours watching videos of on youtube, one of the few things he felt mostly comfortable he wouldn’t mess up. He lifted each of the small cups, more like a shallow bowl than an actual cup, to his lips taking a small sip from each and replacing them on the table before he stepped to the side, turned and bowed to his bride.\n\nStanding up from bowing Hana stepped up to the table, taking a breath as she starting going through the ritual. Picking up each cup and taking a sip from it before setting it down and moving to the next. Once she was done she turned to her husband, bowing and then turning to her mother and grandfather, and the horse parents, showing that it was their turn.\n\nBowing and stepping up, Ren and Chou took their place, taking the offered sake, showing that the new bond was going to be a strong one. The pair taking their sips from the cups before moving to the next one, once they finished they bowed to the newly weds and then to the mother and father horse, stepping to the side, letting them step up to seal the deal.\n\nThe older horse couple stepped up, Alexander sipping from the three cups then stepping aside to allow his mate to do the same. Once Tabitha had repeated the process the pair of palominos bowed first to the newlywed couple then to the bride's parents and finally to the priest.\n\nTurning to the pretty raccoon dog girl Alexander quietly said, welcome to our family Hana, may all your days be happy and filled with joy.”\n\n“And welcome to ours.” She whispered back, smiling a bit. “And don’t let Shanoa scare you off.”\n\nWith that the polar bear cleared his throat, getting the groups attention. “With that, I think that it’s time to take this to the reception, so that we all may honor and celebrate this lovely couple's new bond. Eat, drink and be merry.”\n\n----------------\n\nThe reception hall had been decorated with ribbons, bells, and balloons. Against the back wall was a table set with food of just about every kind that the families could want, and plenty of lobster to go around. At the upper end of the room was the table set for the bride and groom and the parents, a bar at the far end of the room and plenty of tables around for the guests.\n\n“I thought you looked great in the kimono,” Zeus said as he held the chair for his new bride, the raccoon dog girl sitting and blushing slightly at his attentions. “That dress, holy crap that makes you look even hotter sweet cheeks.”\n\n“Honey….I think that the sake might be getting to you.” She said blushing, smiling up to her husband. “Then again….it’s taking a lot to keep me from pouncing you right now.” She said resting her hand on his knee once he had sat down.\n\n“I think that the both of you need to get a little food in you.” Chou said shaking her head a little. “We don’t want you turning into Shanoa.”\n\n“Hey….you say that like it’s a bad thing.” The catwolf said from her end of the table.\n\n“Don’t go getting spoiled to this crap,” Shannon said as she sat a plate of food before her brother and his new wife. “Mom said you both looked a little tipsy, and that it might be a good idea to get food into you. With the way you two are looking at each other I think she may be right.”\n\n“We don’t need them putting on a show yet.” Chou said smiling a little.\n\n“I don’t think that I’m that tipsy….I mean….I might be.” Hana said smiling. “Thank you.” She said before picking up one of the forks, starting to poke at the food.\n\n“It’s a good thing that we got the really light stuff.” Chou said shaking her head a little as she started prying open a clam.\n\n“Most definitely,” Tabitha chimed in from her son's side. “Anything much stronger and we might get a repeat of him slamming his tail in a door.”\n\n“I never did any such…” the equine boy began to protest.\n\n“Six years old, front door trying to hide from Shannon after hitting her in the face with a water balloon. A year later in the car door trying to lock her out of the car… need I continue?” his mother retorted.\n\n“Nothing like the trips to the ER for a broken tail.” Shanoa said with a snicker. “Kinda like the time that we ended up having to shave Hana’s tail.”\n\n“Auntie Shanoa…..no.” Hana said shaking her head a little.\n\n“Which time? I can think of at least two.” Chou said smiling, snickering a little. “There was the time that she fell asleep with gum in her muzzle, using her tail as a pillow…..then tried to get it out herself.” \n\n“Or the time that she wasn’t supposed to be chewing gum and thought that it would be smart to try and drop it behind her back as she walked.” Shanoa spoke up. “So weird seeing you all fluffy in the winter with a naked tail.”\n\n\n“Has she ever gone through the whole ‘Goth’ phase thing?” Tabitha asked with a sly grin on her muzzle.\n\n“Mother… you wouldn’t,” Zeus nearly screamed out, his eyes going nearly as wide as the plate in front of him.\n\n“No, but she did go through the whole bubble gum pop phase….” Chou snickered. “Hana with pink hair and some bright fur colors….hell of a sight….Shanoa you have the photos some were don’t you?”\n\n“I’m sure that I can find them….though I want to see a goth horse.” She said nearly bursting into a fit of giggles.\n\n“I’ll have to dig out those photo albums,” Tabby said snickering at her son's expression. “His older sister kept telling him he needed to get the really good black fur dye with his natural color. His attempt at black went very, very purple on him.”\n\n“It wouldn't have been nearly so bad if he had just let it grow out some,” Shannon said nearly laughing out loud. “But noooo, he had to try to bleach it out instead.”\n\n“Oh god.” Shanoa lost it at that point, laughing loudly at the mental image.\n\n“You know it’s a good thing that they grow out of it.” Chou paused a moment. “Did he ever go through the nude phase? Or the flashing visitors? Like Hana….just had to show off her undies to everyone.”\n\n“Moooooooom.” She huffed out, hiding her face in her paws. “I only did that like once….and Now I have a husband to do that to.” She muttered.\n\n“Oh my, is that a promise sweet stuff?” Zeus asked with a wiggle of his eyebrows.\n\n“Maybe you should model those spiderman tights for your wife Zeus,” his older brother piped up. “Like you did for your first grade class… you know the day you decided to ‘go commando’.”\n\nThe sound of Shanoa laughing soon turned to her cackling and hitting the table. “Oh god…..that’s too good.”\n\n“I wouldn’t mind seeing my husband in some tights.” Hana said smiling to him, leaning up and planting a kiss on his cheek, her paw sneaking it’s way up his leg.\n\n“Keep… moving that paw like that and you’ll see me in something tight alright,” the equine boy whispered to his wife, his paw suddenly finger crawling it’s way up her thigh.\n\n“Ok you two….save it for the honeymoon.” Chou said shaking her head a little.\n\n“Gee….love you too mom.” Hana said shaking her head.\n\n“I know this is your day,” Tabitha said giving the young couple that motherly look. “That doesn’t mean either of your families want that kind of a peek into your relationship, just thinking about it is weird enough for me.”\n\n“Don’t like the idea of them getting.” Shanoa started to say something only to be cut off.\n\n“Shanoa…..no.” Ren said from his seat next to her. “Just no…..your not too old for me to discipline you.” He said cutting his eyes to her.\n\n“Whether or not I like the idea has nothing to do with not wanting a live show of it,” Tabitha said flatly. \n\n“Well, in all fairness,” Alexander piped up again. “The specifics of their wedding has somewhat lent itself to increasing their…. Readiness to get to the good parts.”\n\n“Hey. I got the lightest stuff that I could find.” Shanoa said shaking her head a little, “so this is like not my fault…...I blame Chou, she gave Hana the lightweight genes.”\n\n“You know that isn’t true.” Chou said cocking an eyebrow at her sister. “Who was the one that I got into a drinking contest….a game of shot….who’s the one that lost, and in the same night caught her tail on fire?”\n\n“Ummmmm…...love you to.” The catwolf said slouching back in her seat.\n\n“Ok you two.” Hana said smiling and standing up, tapping her glass with her fork. “I want to make a little toast.” She said loudly and happily. “I want to thank the Chamberlin family for accepting us, and Shanoa.” Hana said with a little snicker. “We will make sure to keep her on a shorter leash.” She giggled. “But I want to say, to express just how happy I am to have met, and now to be wedded to this fine man.” She said motioning to her husband. “I couldn’t have asked for someone better….and I also want to wish the Chamberlins as much happiness that Zeus is bringing me, and to welcome them to our family.”\n\nStanding up beside his new wife, wrapping her in his arms Zeus smiled broadly as he began to speak as well. “It is my honor on this day to be joined with Hana as husband and wife. To welcome this most beautiful young woman into my family and to become a part of the Kiyomizu family. May every day find all the members of both families healthy, happy and surrounded by loved ones and great joy.”\n\n“Here, here.” Ren and Izumi said loudly and happily.\n\n“To, love, joy and great family.” Shanoa said standing up with the group, the crowd sitting at the tables standing up and raising their glasses, cheering.\n\n“You know I think that it’s time to cut the cake.” Hana said smiling.\n\n“I think you’re right sweetie,” Zeus said taking his wife by the paw and walking them both towards the multi tiered wedding cake.\n\n“This is a lovely cake.” The raccoon dog said as she picked up the knife, “I kinda hope Shanoa was kidding about it being made with apples and peanut butter.” She said as people started gathering around to watch them cut the cake.\n\n“Oh God I hope not,” he said taking her paw in his, wrapping his fingers around hers and the knife she held. “Then again… it could prove to be quite a bit of fun with you pretty lady.”\n\n“I don’t know…..that would be putting on a live show….and I don’t think that our family would like that sorta thing.” She said smiling, lifting their paw up before bringing it down to start cutting into the cake. “And the peanut butter and stuff comes later….”\n\n“I’m going to hold you to that sweet cheeks,” Zeus whispered into her ear as he leaned in close and moved their paws to make the second cut of the slice. “Maybe a few other things as well,” he added taking up a small plate in his free paw. “You know since we save the top tier for our first anniversary… I bet that’s the part that’s got the apples and all in it.”\n\n“Maybe…..then again, I was thinking that I would just email you a crate of apples.” Shanoa said with a little snicker from somewhere in the crowd.\n\n“I’ll send the mega tub of peanut butter.” Chou said with a little giggle of her own.\n\n“Gee….love the both of you.” Hana said poking her tongue out at the two before going back to focusing on the cake and moving the slice from the cake to the plate that her husband had ready.\n\n“Well, those restaurant supply places do sell it in a 35 pound bucket,” the palomino said, instantly blushing a bright pink and staring at the plate in his and his wife's paws.\n\n“Zuse, sweetie, you’re not helping.” Hana said looking up to her husband. “I’m already getting fluffy for the winter, I don’t think that I need that much more help.” She paused a second, smile growing. “You know honey, I think that we need to get a few apple trees to plant around the house.”\n\n“Is that like some kind of a kinky offer or something sexy?” Zeus asked picking up a fork and slicing off a bit of the cake slice. “Though we‘ll need to have one or two transplanted in, those things take a few years to grow enough to bear fruit.”\n\n“Well it looks like we have our spring getaway planned out.” Hana said smiling, “a nice trip to the nursery.”\n\n“At the rate you two are going, it’s going to be a different one that you go to.” Shanoa’s voice rang out followed by a snicker.\n\n“Shanoa…..behave….I’m not ready to be a grandma...and I know that you’re not ready to be an great aunt.” Chou said with a snicker of her own.\n\n“That’s not coming for a while you two….both of you behave.” Hana said smiling and turning back to her husband, picking up a fork, slicing off a little cake for her husband. “I love you sweetie.” She said as she interlocked her arm with his.\n\n“I love you too, my queen,” he replied as they fed each other the small bite of their wedding cake. Breaking the kiss a few moments later, pressing himself deeper into the mattress to pull away from her a bit he whispered, “I… I love you fluffball.”\n\n“And just think, this is the start of our life together.” She said softly, looking into the stallion's eyes. “We have so much time to spend together, so many things to do and build together.” She said slowly relaxing more and laying down on top of her husband. “Meeting you and getting to pin you like that…..one of the best things that ever happened….and it’s weird to think that it was the start of all this….something so simple.” She said kissing her lover’s cheek before nuzzling against his cheek. “I love you my samurai stallion.”\n\nHis warm breath tickling her neck fur, nuzzling against her cheek the equine boy panted, his breathing slowing at last. “I think I like that one, that would make a good nickname for a game account.”\n\n“Mmmmmh that reminds me….I need to look into this game and get an account.” Hana said smiling and sitting up a little. “Hmmmmm…..Fluffy Dynamo.” She said with a little nod, “Just think of the things that we could build together.”\n\n“You know, I found a few public servers that run some pretty tech heavy mod packs… we could try one of those after we get home and settled a bit,” Zeus replied..\n\n“The only thing is….can you behave?” She asked with a little snicker, “I mean you know how….distracted you can get.” She said reaching up and starting to un tie the silken bands around the horse’s wrists. “Wouldn’t want you getting all embarrassed in front of other players.”\n\nAs soon as his lover had one wrist loose his paw nearly shot to and firmly gripped one of the rounded furry orbs of her butt. “Like I’m the only one that applies to?” he asked as he fondled her rump. “Pretty sure I can get you blushing just as easy sexy.”\n\n“Oh I know that you can get me blushing…...but can you do it without the kong?” Hana said licking her lips as she pressed her butt into the teasing paw. “And I’m sure that you know that I won’t hesitate to slip under your desk and really tease you.” She said poking her tongue out.\n\n“Mmmmm,” the palomino boy murred to his wife. “I’m sure that you can and that you would do just that sexy. Just remember that I can’t guarantee that I won’t drag you out of there, lay you across the top of that desk and nail you on the spot. You’re just too damn hot to say no to.”\n\n“Mmmmmh I wonder if we set up our desk just right….I could snuggle right into your lap and we could play together like that…..that way I could help out with you getting wood.” She said wiggling her hips a bit as she slowly pulled off of her husband, moaning as she felt him sliding out of her. “Fuuuuck.” She gasped out, slipping down to start working on the silk bands around her mate’s ankles.\n\nThe horse boy lay as still as he could. There was no doubt about it, the day was perfect, to the point that you would think that it was something out of a fairy tail.  The birds were singing songs of happiness and peace, like they knew of the wedding that was about to take place, like they were singing their blessing to the soon to be wed couple.  The door to the temple swung open, a large polar bear, dressed in traditional robes stepped into the doorway and nodded to the raccoon dog and the horse, signalling that it was time.

There was nothing said as the procession started, the priest leading the way, chanting a blessing softly, in a rhythmic, almost song like tone, behind him, the soon to be wedded pair, Hana and Zeus followed, hands held tight, smiles on their faces as they walked down the path.  The trees to the side of them seemed to make an arch, the foliage alite with the colors of the coming fall.  Behind them, the young male alpaca carried the umbrella, tilting it to protect the lover’s from the sun.  

Behind him came the family, the proud parents of the to be wedded.  Chou wore a smile as she walked, a tear rolling down her eye.  The pride and happiness that she felt, bubbling up and warming her to the core, all the bad of her past washing away with each step that she took, the events of the past all dissolving in her mind to make room for the things that she had experienced the time here.  The getting to know the new additions to the family better, getting to help her daughter with the kimono that she was wearing, styling her hair, every little detail worked itself into her memories.  Taking in everything, every memory planting itself into her mind, only to grow with time.

Pulling up the line behind her, Tabitha and Alexander, no doubt holding the same pride and soul warming happiness that their new family held.  Arm and arm they walked, memories and flashes of their son playing through their eyes as they got a look at the man that he had become, along with the memories that he and his wife would make as they built their life together.  It did bring back thoughts of their time together as husband and wife.  The same tears of happiness and pride that hid behind everyone’s eyes, threatening to free themselves at a moment's notice.

Behind the proud mother and father, came the now whole family.  Brain, with the pillow held safety and pride in the role that he was given, Shannon there to make sure that everything went smoothly.  Randy and May,  Shanoa, and the rest of the family moving in pairs as they reached their destination.

The priest was the first there, standing under the arch of the Torri that had been decorated with ribbons and shides.  The view beyond the Torri was stunning, the earth seemed to give away to the sea for as far as anyone could see, the trees framing the area perfectly, adding dancing little patches of light as the sun shone through the shifting, wind blown leaves.  Standing in front of the priest, Hana held her lover’s hands, looking up to him. Pride, happiness, peace, and countless other emotions showing in her eyes, smile plastered to her muzzle even as a tear would slide down her cheek, flattening the fur there.  Soon all of the family and visitors, random onlookers and all had taken their places, it was time for the wedding to start.

Once everyone was in place, several people let out a few giggles, and oooh and awwws at the sight of the young girl that was walking up the little walkway.  The little ferret girl was walking along, tossing out little flower petals, her kimono stirring them up a little as she walked along.  Only moments later the youngest of the horse family started walking up the path, the pillow held out happily, smiling at the people as he passed, taking his place beside his brother.

“I would like to thank everyone for joining us for this ceremony.”  The priest said smiling to the crowd, “now let's get started.”  He said smiling and taking a deep breath.  “Groom, repeat after me.  Watakushi wa kono josei to kekkonshi.”  He said started out, giving Zeus a moment to repeat it.

“Watasushi wa kohno josei to kekkonshit,” the Palomino boy repeated a little hesitantly, attempting to repeat exactly what the priest was saying.

The smile on the polar bear’s muzzle grew as he listened to the groom.  “Fufu to narou to shite imasu.”  He spoke.  Again the palomino tried his best to repeat the phrase, doing his best but still messing up, but the priest knew that he was trying, that he wanted to share in the raccoon dog’s cultural heritage.  

The priest kept leading them through the vows, coming to the end.  Asking if they agreed, the pair replying with “Hai, chikaimasu.”

That was Brain’s cue to step up, holding the pillow up for the pair to take the rings.  Zeus taking the ring meant for his wife, her paw in hand as he carefully slid the ring onto her finger, sealing the deal.  Next was Hana’s turn, taking the ring and Zues’s paw, slipping the ring onto his finger, tears rolling down her cheeks at this point, though the smile remained.

“You may kiss the bride.”  The bear said smiling at the pair.

That was all that the raccoon dog needed to hear, closing her eyes as she leaned in, pressing herself close to her lover, murring at the feeling of his arms wrapping around her, muttering an I love you before their muzzles met.  The moment that their lips met, it felt like time stood still, like the whole world froze, that everything was at peace and right, the two knew that this was the start of something new and grand, that this was just the start of their lives.  The kiss seemed to last for ever, the cheers and laughter of the crowd starting to pour back into their little bubble, they swore that they heard someone making a dirty sounding joke.

“Now for the tradition of San-san-kudo.”  The priest said smiling as members of the temple came up to the group, one carrying a small table, quickly setting it up as one of the other’s set out the cups and started filling them with sake.  “We need the bride and groom's parents.”  He said motioning for them to step up.  “First the bride and groom take three sips from  each cup.”  The bear said motioning to the three cups.

This part of the ceremony the palomino boy had spent several hours watching videos of on youtube, one of the few things he felt mostly comfortable he wouldn’t mess up. He lifted each of the small cups, more like a shallow bowl than an actual cup, to his lips taking a small sip from each and replacing them on the table before he stepped to the side, turned and bowed to his bride.

Standing up from bowing Hana stepped up to the table, taking a breath as she starting going through the ritual.  Picking up each cup and taking a sip from it before setting it down and moving to the next.  Once she was done she turned to her husband, bowing and then turning to her mother and grandfather, and the horse parents, showing that it was their turn.

Bowing and stepping up, Ren and Chou took their place, taking the offered sake, showing that the new bond was going to be a strong one.  The pair taking their sips from the cups before moving to the next one, once they finished they bowed to the newly weds and then to the mother and father horse, stepping to the side, letting them step up to seal the deal.

The older horse couple stepped up, Alexander sipping from the three cups then stepping aside to allow his mate to do the same. Once Tabitha had repeated the process the pair of palominos bowed first to the newlywed couple then to the bride's parents and finally to the priest.

Turning to the pretty raccoon dog girl Alexander quietly said, welcome to our family Hana, may all your days be happy and filled with joy.”

“And welcome to ours.”  She whispered back, smiling a bit.  “And don’t let Shanoa scare you off.”

With that the polar bear cleared his throat, getting the groups attention.  “With that, I think that it’s time to take this to the reception, so that we all may honor and celebrate this lovely couple's new bond.  Eat, drink and be merry.”

The reception hall had been decorated with ribbons, bells, and balloons.  Against the back wall was a table set with food of just about every kind that the families could want, and plenty of lobster to go around.  At the upper end of the room was the table set for the bride and groom and the parents, a bar at the far end of the room and plenty of tables around for the guests.

“I thought you looked great in the kimono,” Zeus said as he held the chair for his new bride, the raccoon dog girl sitting and blushing slightly at his attentions. “That dress, holy crap that makes you look even hotter sweet cheeks.”

“Honey….I think that the sake might be getting to you.”  She said blushing, smiling up to her husband.  “Then again….it’s taking a lot to keep me from pouncing you right now.”  She said resting her hand on his knee once he had sat down.

“I think that the both of you need to get a little food in you.”  Chou said shaking her head a little.  “We don’t want you turning into Shanoa.”

“Hey….you say that like it’s a bad thing.”  The catwolf said from her end of the table.

“Don’t go getting spoiled to this crap,” Shannon said as she sat a plate of food before her brother and his new wife. “Mom said you both looked a little tipsy, and that it might be a good idea to get food into you. With the way you  two are looking at each other I think she may be right.”

“We don’t need them putting on a show yet.”  Chou said smiling a little.

“I don’t think that I’m that tipsy….I mean….I might be.”  Hana said smiling.  “Thank you.”  She said before picking up one of the forks, starting to poke at the food.

“It’s a good thing that we got the really light stuff.”  Chou said shaking her head a little as she started prying open a clam.

“Most definitely,” Tabitha chimed in from her son's side. “Anything much stronger and we might get a repeat of him slamming his tail in a door.”

“I never did any such…” the equine boy began to protest.

“Six years old, front door trying to hide from Shannon after hitting her in the face with a water balloon. A year later in the car door trying to lock her out of the car… need I continue?” his mother retorted.

“Nothing like the trips to the ER for a broken tail.”  Shanoa said with a snicker.  “Kinda like the time that we ended up having to shave Hana’s tail.”

“Auntie Shanoa…..no.”  Hana said shaking her head a little.

“Which time?  I can think of at least two.”  Chou said smiling, snickering a little.  “There was the time that she fell asleep with gum in her muzzle, using her tail as a pillow…..then tried to get it out herself.”  

“Or the time that she wasn’t supposed to be chewing gum and thought that it would be smart to try and drop it behind her back as she walked.”  Shanoa spoke up.  “So weird seeing you all fluffy in the winter with a naked tail.”


“Has she ever gone through the whole ‘Goth’ phase thing?” Tabitha asked with a sly grin on her muzzle.

“Mother… you wouldn’t,” Zeus nearly screamed out, his eyes going nearly as wide as the plate in front of him.

“No, but she did go through the whole bubble gum pop phase….”  Chou snickered.  “Hana with pink hair and some bright fur colors….hell of a sight….Shanoa you have the photos some were don’t you?”

“I’m sure that I can find them….though I want to see a goth horse.”  She said nearly bursting into a fit of giggles.

“I’ll have to dig out those photo albums,” Tabby said snickering at her son's expression. “His older sister kept telling him he needed to get the really good black fur dye with his natural color. His attempt at black went very, very purple on him.”

“It wouldn't have been nearly so bad if he had just let it grow out some,” Shannon said nearly laughing out loud. “But noooo, he had to try to bleach it out instead.”

“Oh god.”  Shanoa lost it at that point, laughing loudly at the mental image.

“You know it’s a good thing that they grow out of it.”  Chou paused a moment.  “Did he ever go through the nude phase? Or the flashing visitors?  Like Hana….just had to show off her undies to everyone.”

“Moooooooom.”  She huffed out, hiding her face in her paws.  “I only did that like once….and Now I have a husband to do that to.”  She muttered.

“Oh my, is that a promise sweet stuff?” Zeus asked with a wiggle of his eyebrows.

“Maybe you should model those spiderman tights for your wife Zeus,” his older brother piped up. “Like you did for your first grade class… you know the day you decided to ‘go commando’.”

The sound of Shanoa laughing soon turned to her cackling and hitting the table.  “Oh god…..that’s too good.”

“I wouldn’t mind seeing my husband in some tights.”  Hana said smiling to him, leaning up and planting a kiss on his cheek, her paw sneaking it’s way up his leg.

“Keep… moving that paw like that and you’ll see me in something tight alright,” the equine boy whispered to his wife, his paw suddenly finger crawling it’s way up her thigh.

“Ok you two….save it for the honeymoon.”  Chou said shaking her head a little.

“Gee….love you too mom.”  Hana said shaking her head.

“I know this is your day,” Tabitha said giving the young couple that motherly look. “That doesn’t mean either of your families want that kind of a peek into your relationship, just thinking about it is weird enough for me.”

“Don’t like the idea of them getting.”  Shanoa started to say something only to be cut off.

“Shanoa…..no.”  Ren said from his seat next to her.  “Just no…..your not too old for me to discipline you.”  He said cutting his eyes to her.

“Whether or not I like the idea has nothing to do with not wanting a live show of it,” Tabitha said flatly.

“Well, in all fairness,” Alexander piped up again. “The specifics of their wedding has somewhat lent itself to increasing their…. Readiness to get to the good parts.”

“Hey.  I got the lightest stuff that I could find.”  Shanoa said shaking her head a little, “so this is like not my fault…...I blame Chou, she gave Hana the lightweight genes.”

“You know that isn’t true.”  Chou said cocking an eyebrow at her sister.  “Who was the one that I got into a drinking contest….a game of shot….who’s the one that lost, and in the same night caught her tail on fire?”

“Ummmmm…...love you to.”  The catwolf said slouching back in her seat.

“Ok you two.”  Hana said smiling and standing up, tapping her glass with her fork.  “I want to make a little toast.”  She said loudly and happily.  “I want to thank the Chamberlin family for accepting us, and Shanoa.”  Hana said with a little snicker.  “We will make sure to keep her on a shorter leash.”  She giggled.  “But I want to say, to express just how happy I am to have met, and now to be wedded to this fine man.”  She said motioning to her husband.  “I couldn’t have asked for someone better….and I also want to wish the Chamberlins as much happiness that Zeus is bringing me, and to welcome them to our family.”

Standing up beside his new wife, wrapping her in his arms Zeus smiled broadly as he began to speak as well.  “It is my honor on this day to be joined with Hana as husband and wife. To welcome this most beautiful young woman into my family and to become a part of the Kiyomizu family. May every day find all the members of both families healthy, happy and surrounded by loved ones and great joy.”

“Here, here.”  Ren and Izumi said loudly and happily.

“To, love, joy and great family.”  Shanoa said standing up with the group, the crowd sitting at the tables standing up and raising their glasses, cheering.

“You know I think that it’s time to cut the cake.”  Hana said smiling.

“I think you’re right sweetie,” Zeus said taking his wife by the paw and walking them both towards the multi tiered wedding cake.

“This is a lovely cake.”  The raccoon dog said as she picked up the knife, “I kinda hope Shanoa was kidding about it being made with apples and peanut butter.”  She said as people started gathering around to watch them cut the cake.

“Oh God I hope not,” he said taking her paw in his, wrapping his fingers around hers and the knife she held. “Then again… it could prove to be quite a bit of fun with you pretty lady.”

“I don’t know…..that would be putting on a live show….and I don’t think that our family would like that sorta thing.”  She said smiling, lifting their paw up before bringing it down to start cutting into the cake.  “And the peanut butter and stuff comes later….”

“I’m going to hold you to that sweet cheeks,” Zeus whispered into her ear as he leaned in close and moved their paws to make the second cut of the slice. “Maybe a few other things as well,” he added taking up a small plate in his free paw. “You know since we save the top tier for our first anniversary… I bet that’s the part that’s got the apples and all in it.”

“Maybe…..then again, I was thinking that I would just email you a crate of apples.”  Shanoa said with a little snicker from somewhere in the crowd.

“I’ll send the mega tub of peanut butter.”  Chou said with a little giggle of her own.

“Gee….love the both of you.”  Hana said poking her tongue out at the two before going back to focusing on the cake and moving the slice from the cake to the plate that her husband had ready.

“Well, those restaurant supply places do sell it in a 35 pound bucket,” the palomino said, instantly blushing a bright pink and staring at the plate in his and his wife's paws.

“Zuse, sweetie, you’re not helping.”  Hana said looking up to her husband.  “I’m already getting fluffy for the winter, I don’t think that I need that much more help.”  She paused a second, smile growing.  “You know honey, I think that we need to get a few apple trees to plant around the house.”

“Is that like some kind of a kinky offer or something sexy?” Zeus asked picking up a fork and slicing off a bit of the cake slice. “Though we‘ll need to have one or two transplanted in, those things take a few years to grow enough to bear fruit.”

“Well it looks like we have our spring getaway planned out.”  Hana said smiling, “a nice trip to the nursery.”

“At the rate you two are going, it’s going to be a different one that you go to.”  Shanoa’s voice rang out followed by a snicker.

“Shanoa…..behave….I’m not ready to be a grandma...and I know that you’re not ready to be an great aunt.”  Chou said with a snicker of her own.

“That’s not coming for a while you two….both of you behave.”  Hana said smiling and turning back to her husband, picking up a fork, slicing off a little cake for her husband.  “I love you sweetie.”  She said as she interlocked her arm with his.

“I love you too, my queen,” he replied as they fed each other the small bite of their wedding cake. As they unwrapped their entwined arms he quickly scooped up a tiny bit of icing from the cake still on the plate and booped it onto the tip of her nose. “Just a reminder of what you’ve got coming once I get you alone hot stuff,” he said with a sly smile as he leaned in close and licked the frosting from her muzzle.

“You cheater.”  Hana said looking up to her husband, blushing dark at the teasing, wiggling a little as she set the fork down and wrapped her arms around him.  “You know that you’re just giving me ideas too.”  She said pressing her lips to his, letting her tongue sneak into his muzzle.

“Well it looks like I lost the bet.”  Ren said turning to his wife and Shanoa.  “I was near sure that one of them would have done it….then again...the day isn’t over yet.”

“You know...there is still a lot more that we can bet on.”  Shanoa said smiling.  “I might be able to pay back all that money I owe you.”  She paused a moment to think.  “Well….lets see….I got a thousand yen on him getting a little too carried away on pulling her garter off, five thousand on mom catching the bouquet, and then ten thousand on someone falling down as they go for the garter.”

“Works for us.”  Ren said smiling and shaking hands with his daughter.

Zeus leaned his head back into the plush seat of the limo as the pair were whisked away from the bustle of their reception. As he mused over the events of the day he knew it would be one he would never forget. Feeling his love stir against him he lowered his gaze, his view only partially obstructed by her flowing hair. “Well I knew you were going to change before we left for the honeymoon babe, but what’s with the kimono? Not that I’m complaining mind you,” the palomino boy asked his blushing bride.

“There is just something about being in a kimono, snuggled up to my new husband.”  The raccoon dog said looking up to the pony, reaching up to brush her hair to the side.  “It’s….it’s part of the dream….I’m home, with the man that was meant for me….the dynamo snuggled safely against her samurai,  It’s just perfect.”  She said, scooting up a little to press her lips to his cheek.  “Zeus….I love you.”

“I love you too honey,” wrapping her a little tighter in his embrace. “Still think it’s just a little weird that your grandparents hustled us out of the building in such a hurry. Not that I mind the ride in the limo, or finally having you all to myself today. But I was wondering, you have any idea where we’re headed? Don’t think I remember anyone saying what the plan was for our honeymoon.”

“I’m sure that we don’t have to worry about it being anything Shanoa level of evil or anything.”  She said turning her head a little to try and sneak a look through the tinted windows.  “Grandma and grandpa are masters at this kind of thing.”  She said, letting out a little squeak as the ride turned a little bumpy.  “I think we’re here.”  She said as the limos engine was killed, moment’s later the door was opened.

“We didn’t want to spoil the surprise….and we wanted to get you two here in time.”  Ren said as he held the door open for the two.  “The guests will be fine.”  

“Where…..where are we?”  Hana asked as she slowly got out of the car, looking around, tail swishing happily as she took in the sight.  The limo was parked at the edge of a gated foot path that lead up through an archway of flowering trees.  “This place is amazing.”

“This is where Ren brought me, years and years ago….our own little hideaway, the perfect place for you two to….peacefully enjoy one another’s company as husband and wife.”  Izumi said, standing with her husband, holding onto his arm.

“Yes,  just up the path is a small traditional house, overlooking a cliff….we wanted to get you two here in time for the sun set.”  He said motioning up the path.  “No one will bother you two here.”

“Oh wow… this place is gorgeous,” Zeus exclaimed as he stepped from the back seat of the limo and overheard his wife’s grandfather’s words. “So a private little getaway spot? Oh that sounds perfect for us fluffy tail.”

“Yes, once you two pass through the gate, it will be just you two.”  The wolf said as he and his mate walked over to the gate, producing a key from somewhere and unlocking it.  “The land around it is private...as is the hot springs.”  He said with a snicker, “I know just how much you two like the one back home.”

“Wow….thank you grandma, grandpa.”  The younger raccoon dog said, rushing up and hugging them.

“Don’t worry about it sweetie….you two just go up there and have a good time.”  The cat said as she looked down to her granddaughter.  “Now...go...and try not to make poor Chou a grandma yet.”  She said with a giggle.

“Yes thank you both so much,” Zeus said bending down and sweeping the raccoon dog girl up into his arms. I’ll take very good care of your granddaughter, and we’ll do our best to try not to make her mom a grandmother… yet.” He turned and walked through the gate and along the path. Nuzzling the top of his pretty wife’s head he whispered, “an alone at last with my sexy puppy. Whatever will we do for the next few days?”

“Oh you know….I can think of a few things…”  She said wiggling her ears a little at her husband nuzzling her.  “Something with the hot springs...naked, wet snuggles….I’m sure that will lead into something.”  She said looking up to the horse that was carrying her up the path, the house coming into view, it was a little more modern than the cat and wolf had lead on, but not to the point that it stood out among the trees and stones that were around it.

“So...you took the bet with your daughter didn’t you?”  Izumi looked up to her husband.

“The grandkids one...I did….Simple bet this time, she wins I forget the money she owes me….she wins, we go to the states….and I said  four weeks.”  The wolf said watching his granddaughter and her husband walking up the path, making sure that they got there before turning back and heading to the limo.  “You know...all this romance has got me in a mood for some time with my wife.”  He said scooping her up.

“So where do we start sexy? Nap and snuggle, maybe with a little snack or something?” the horse boy asked as he stepped up to the entryway of the house.

“I don’t know….would the snack have something to do with peanut butter?”  She asked with a little giggle as she was carried through the threshold of the house.  “I’m sure that there is something we can snack on and snuggle up on the porch….watch the sunset.”

“Snuggling and watching the sunset, sounds like a plan to me,” the equine said setting his wife on her foot-paws. “So who’s getting the snacks… and do I unwrap you now or later?” he asked as he tugged at the sash that held her kimono wrapped tightly around her.

“I can handle getting the snacks.”  She said, letting the sash fall.  “But….what do we want.”  She said, starting to walk along the room, letting her kimono hang off of her shoulders.  “Hmmmh, square watermelon…..or maybe some hanami dango?”  She asked, letting her kimono drop at the door to the kitchen.
