"writing": "Mon. Feb. 24th 2014\nPacking day.\n\nIt had been a busy week or so for Shanoa and Anna. Shanoa was on and off the phone with different people about the place that she was now renting, the people who she was now leasing a medical office from, the moving people, and all of that top off with her and Anna going to the specialist to finish up the invetro procedure, meaning that Shanoa was now officially a mother to be, and Anna was already treating her like it. \n\nThey were down to the last thing on their list of todo. Anna and Shanoa had already taken the cars to the transporters, and with the help of Jack, got back home. They had packed up the clothing and things that they would need to make it through the night at the new place before their things got there and un-packed. The last thing that they had to do was get the little things packed up, and make sure that the kitten didn’t get packed up into one of the countless cat traps that laid around the house.\n\n“You know, it’s still a little surprising that you can orchestrate a move, the rental of a house, and the lease of a building in just a day over a week… Are you sure that you don’t have some kind of background in business?” Anna asked as she glanced over to her wife who was standing at the closet, taking out clothing, folding it and putting them into a box.\n\n“I’m just that good.” The catwolf said with a little snicker as she held up a dress to herself. “You know… We are going to have to go shopping for some more clothes.” She said as she started folding it up and putting it into the box. “And as for the background… I didn’t go to school for it or anything, dad was one of those shrewd business men that you hear about all the time.”\n\n“Your wardrobe is something that you think ahead about… But you just kinda jump off into most anything.” Anna said shaking her head a little. “Once you start showing, then we will take you out to get some nice clothes… My treat.” The doe said as she kept working on packing up the different odds and ends that sat on a dresser.\n\n“Well, you know I’m a private practitioner now, I need to look the part.” Shanoa said with a little snicker. “Oh god, I still need to come up with a name for the place.” She said shaking her head a little.\n\n“Oh so you mean that you’re going to wear something other than scrubs and whine about how they make you look flat?” Anna teased, “and I’m sure that we will come up with something… We have a little before it opens.” She said looking over to her wife, who was just smiling. “And just how long do we have… Weeks? Days?” \n\n“A few days… I have papers to sign and deal with once we get there to make everything official.” She said as she pulled out one of the last article of hanging clothing. “Kiyomizu Family Clinic…. Or something like that.”\n\n“You could name it after your benefactor.” Anna offered, starting to pull clothing out of the dresser and into one of the boxes, the kitten leaping out and skittering off under the bed.\n\n“Yeah, I think that Chloe would come for me if I did that.” Shanoa said with a little shrug, “while she wants to do good and help people, she kinda wants to stay on the down low… I’m sure that we can come up with something before time.”\n\n“Oh I know that we can… We could go with something cheesy and cute… I mean you are a pediatrician are you not?” Anna asked, pausing for a moment. “Soft Paws Medical Clinic…”\n\n“That is cheesy, but kinda cute.” Shanoa said with a little snicker, “the only thing is it’s going to be more than just a pediatrician office… Once I get things up and running, I have other offices to feel… And I would like to be able to treat all ages… Helping Paws Clinic… Maybe… I don’t know.”\n\n“You could name it after momma Anna.” Curio’s tablet spoke up, causing the two to look to the little bat that was standing in the doorway.\n\n“Love Nubs Medical Clinic.” Shanoa said giggling, “you know… I kinda like it.” She said looking over to Anna who was shaking her head a little.\n\n“I think when she said that, she meant my actual name not the nickname.” She said rolling her eyes a little.\n\n“I don’t know I think that I like that one better momma Anna.” Curio said smiling up to the doe.\n\n“Two to one.” Shanoa said going to sit on the edge of the bed, Curio coming to join her.\n\n“You all done packing up sweetie, or you taking a break?” Anna came over, joining the other two on the bed.\n\n“All done.” She said happily, looking up to Anna. “I got everything in the boxes… I just need you to help me close them up and stuff.” She said looking over to Shanoa, who picked up the packing tape gun.\n\n“Well then Squeakie… Let's go have a look.” Shanoa said getting up, the little bat doing the same before heading off to her room.\n\n“Momma, what kinda room am I going to have at the house?” Curio asked as the two got to her room and started checking through the boxes to make sure that she had packed everything, before getting to work taping all of them up.\n\n“Well… The place that we will be renting, it has three bedrooms… The one that me and Anna picked out, and then two more… You can pick the one that you want, how’s that sound?” Shanoa said as she looked over to her daughter and then to the box that she was taping up.\n\n“That sounds really nice.” She said nodding happily as she watched her mother sealing up the box. “Momma, what’s going to happen to the other bedroom?”\n\n“Well that’s going to be mine and Anna’s office.” She said as they moved on to the next box, repeating the process of checking it and then sealing it. “Anna is going to have half of it for her office, cause she’s helping me with the clinic, and then the other half will be mine… It’s all really boring.” She said with a little snicker.\n\n“That sounds like it would be boring.” Curio said, nodding a little. “Will I get to decorate the room like I want?”\n\n“Kind of…” The catwolf said as the moved onto yet another box. “We kinda want to avoid hanging a lot of things on the walls see as we are just renting it, but… I tell you what. When we get moved into the house that me, you and Anna are going to pick out, I will take you out to buy all kinds of things that you would want for your room, sound fair?”\n\n“That sounds awesome.” Curio said, rushing over and hugging her mother, who let out a happy purr as she returned the hug.\n\n“Ooooh Momma… I’m thirteen… Does that mean that I can help out at the clinic and get a bigger allowance.” She said causing the catwolf to look up to her daughter and smile, mostly at the fact that she was starting to take after her and Anna more and more.\n\n“I don’t know… Working at a place like that can be a lot of work…” Shanoa said tapping the side of her muzzle in thought. “I’m sure that I can find you some things to do around there for a bigger allowance.” She said letting out a little squeak as she felt her daughter hugging her again.\n\n“I have the best moms” Curio said stepping back, smiling happily.\n\n“And we have the best daughter.” Shanoa said getting up and holding her paw out, “speaking of moms, let's go see how your other mom is doing with our room.” She said as they went back to Anna and Shanoa’s room. The three spent the rest of the day getting the rest of the small things packed up, writing names or where the box went on the boxes, by the time it was all done, the three were ready for dinner and bed, knowing that they all had a busy day ahead of them tomorrow.\n\nTue. Feb. 25th 2014\nMoving Day\n\nMuch to the family’s dismay, the alarm clock’s call came nice and early in the morning. Anna was the first to get up, turning off the alarm clock before setting about getting her wife up, which was a task in and of itself, getting Curio up and going was a lot easier than getting Shanoa up. Once again, Shanoa had booked a flight nice and early to avoid the traffic even though she wasn’t the one that would be driving.\n\n“Shanoa, it's time to get up.” Anna said said nudging the sleeping catwolf next to her, getting a sound that was a cross between a hiss and mewl. “Ok… You have till I get up and get dressed before I go get the icepack.” Anna said slowly rubbing the sleep from her eyes as she got up and walked over to the dresser that had the last bits of clothes that wasn’t in a box and on the way to New Hampshire.\n\n“Can’t function, need coffee.” The catwolf said sitting up in bed, rubbing her eyes, before sliding out of the bed and stretching a little.\n\n“Well you know if you didn’t pick flights that take off at the butt crack of dawn you could sleep in a little.” Anna said as she pulled on her shirt and picking up a comb to straighten out her short blond hair.\n\n“You know that I don’t like trafic.” Shanoa muttered as she walked up to the doe, reaching out for the clothes that she had laid out the night before.\n\n“You know that you’re not even driving right?” Anna asked, shaking her head a little as she watched her wife getting dressed.\n\n“I still don’t like trafic.” Shanoa muttered before looking to Anna, putting on her cute needy eyes. “Could you be a dear and make coffee?”\n\n“The coffee maker is in a box.” Anna said with a little snicker from the door. “You get dressed, I’m going to get Curio up and ready, and I’m sure that you can get coffee on the way there.” \n\n“Fuck.” Shanoa swore as she pulled her shirt on, having a little trouble with her long hair. “How do people function without it?” She muttered as she started brushing through her hair, before setting about getting the linens and pillows off of the bed and into a box before sealing it up and shambling off.\n\nOnce the family was up, and the bed linens were boxed and good to go, next came the final task before Jack got there. “Ok… So how are we doing this?” Anna asked, looking from the cat crate to the kitten that just seemed to know that something was up.\n\n“Well all of the doors are closed, so there’s not that many places she can run.” Shanoa said looking to the cat, still not all there. The moment that she started to say something, the doorbell chimed, “I got it.” She said walking over to the door, opening it and looking up at the sight of the bernese mountain dog that was standing there.\n\n“Good morning ladies.” He said nodding to everyone as he stepped in, “I hope that I’m not to early.” Jack said looking at the two that were still sitting on the sofa.\n\n“Not at all… Just in time to watch the fun of catching a cat… Feel free to sit down.” Shanoa said as she turned to head to the cat, who the moment that she reached down to scoop her up, shot off.\n\n“I don’t think that it’s going to work like that sweetie.” Anna said watching Shanoa look at the cat before starting to walk over to her again, and again the kitten shot off and ran, this time hopping up onto the sofa that Jack was sitting on and into his lap.\n\n“You know, you’re going to be having three kids running around.” Jack said as he carefully scooped up the kitten and held her, giving her some pets as he got up and walked over to Shanoa and the pet carrier.\n\n“Bite me.” Shanoa said shaking her head a little as they got the kitten into the carrier and the door closed.\n\n“Love you to.” He said with a little snicker as he turned and looked at the small collection of suitcases by the door. “Shall we?” He asked, walking over and picking up two of them.\n\n“You know… Kids and cats are two different things, I’m good with kids… Cats on the other hand.” Shanoa said as she walked over and picked up two more suitcases, Anna and Curio right behind her, doing the same. “They are freaking mysteries.” She said with a little shrug as they walked to Jack’s van.\n\n“You know, aren't you like part cat?” The large dog asked as he started loading the suitcases into the back of the van.\n\n“Yup and I still don’t understand cats… No one does, not even us.” She said, it was clear that she was starting to get a little more awake, partly thanks to the fact that the sun was coming up. It only took one more trip to get the last of the bags and the cat carrier before everyone got settled into the car. “Oh… We need coffee.”\n\n“No… You need it.” Anna said shaking her head a little. \n\n“You know that you’re going to have to cut way back on that stuff.” Jack said with a little snicker as he started the car, and started heading out. “I mean, you’re going to be a mom with a lovely litter of five.” He said, managing to keep from laughing to much.\n\n“I would say something, but there’s a minor in the car.” Shanoa said glancing over to the dog. “You sound like my sister with that… Something about tempting fate, karma and stuff.”\n\n“You know… It would be something for karma to come in and bite you on this… Then again with some of the things that you have done, I think that you would end up with a litter of thirteen or something.” The canine said, laughing now as they pulled into the drive through of a MC Donalds.\n\n“You know what.” Shanoa said lifting her hand to hide her muzzle, “fuck you.” She mouthed to the dog as he pulled up to the drive through.\n\n“Good morning, would you like to try our breakfast platter?” The voice crackled over the speaker.\n\n“No, I need two medium coffees, cream and sugars on the side please.” Jack said glancing back to the two in the back seat.\n\n“Ummm, bacon and egg biscuits for me and Curio, cokes to drink.” Anna spoke up before Jack turned to Shanoa.\n\n“Same thing for me.” She said, letting out a little yawn as Jack turned and relayed the order to the worker, confirming it before pulling up to the window.\n\n“Mr. Jack, do you really think that momma Shanoa is going to have that many babies?” Curio spoke up, causing the male to giggle a little.\n\n\n“I don’t think that she would have that many.” He said shooting the catwolf a glance, “If it was up to me, if I was karma, I think that I would give her two… So I’m going to say that she’s going to end up with twins.”\n\n“You know… If I have twins, I’m coming all the way back to Jonestown and punch you in the dick.” Shanoa said shaking her head a little as they got to the window. “I mean, I could handle two, but… I would still come back for you.” She said, letting out a happily little sound as she was handed her coffee.\n\n“You say that like I’m afraid of you… I know that Anna and Curio would keep you in check.” Jack said with a little snicker as he handed out the food and drinks before pulling to the side to take the time for him and Shanoa to get their coffees the way that they like them.\n\n“Don’t worry Jack, I won’t let her do anything like that to you… I’m sure that she would earn twins or more… I know how she can be.” Anna said with a little snicker.\n\n“Yeah Mr. Jack, if momma Shanoa has that many babies, she would be to busy to be mean to you.” Curio spoke up.\n\n“You know… If I end up with twins or something, then I’m going to need a little more help from you two…” Shanoa said shaking her head a little, “so, y’all can stop trying to curse me anytime.” She said as the car started up, starting back on the trip to the airport.\n\n“So Shanoa, I have to ask… All this moving, and getting this operation… Just how much planning and thought did you put into this?” Jack asked, taking a sip of his coffee before putting it into the cup holder.\n\n“Well, the operation part was kinda my idea.” Anna spoke up from the back, between bites of her food. “It was a little something that I got her for christmas, cause I know that she wanted to be a mom and all that, that goes with that story.”\n\n“Ok, so I know some good planning went into that.” The canine said before briefly looking over to Shanoa.\n\n“What… I planned some of this out… I mean, I called ahead and got us a place, and made sure that I got the building and all that… I just did it quick and on short notice.” She said, sipping her coffee and purring happily. “I might be a little on the wild and reckless side, but I do know when I need to stop and think things out and plan things out.”\n\n“Sometimes at least.” Jack said with a little snicker. “Just remember, like Chloe said, we want to see you, so make sure that you come back sometime, I want to see my god kids.” The canine said with a smile. “So Anna, make sure she does that.”\n\n“Oh you don’t have to worry.” The doe said with a smile, “I will make sure that we come back to see you, and I’ll make sure that me or her will keep you up to date on Curio and the baby’s progress.”\n\nThe rest of the trip went smoothly and pretty quickly, thanks to the fact that traffic hadn’t gotten bad this early in the morning. The four spent the trip talking about different things, the place that they were going, all the things that Curio would get to see in the new city, even taking bets on how well Shanoa was going to handle being pregnant and then handling the kid or kids as Jack was sure it was going to be more than one.\n\n----------------------------\n\nThe trip through the checkpoint at the airport went smoothly, though this was the first time that they had traveled with a pet, so that was a little interesting for them. The gate agent was a little surprised at the sight of the cat, having never seen a chimera cat before. Once they were done with going through the checkpoint, the family made their way to the gate, knowing that this would be leaving Jonestown to start a new life, that when they came back that it would be just for a visit. It was bitter-sweet for them all, Shanoa, Curio and Anna all had many memories that all had root here in Jonestown\n\nShanoa has the memories of practically living in the ER when she first got here, how the addition to coffee got started. The sleepless nights when she was on call or the naps at her desk that lead her to getting the chair that she had now. Though the strongest memories of Jonestown would have to be her meeting Chloe and the path that, that set her down, the path that ended up leading her to saving and meeting her daughter Curio. All things that she wouldn’t trade for anything.\n\nAnna has the memories of her and Shanoa going out and looking at houses, something bigger than the little two bedroom place that she catwolf was living in when they first met and Anna moved to Jonestown from South Carolina. The memories of getting the house the way that they wanted it, all the way up to the memories of finding out Shanoa’s secrets, and coming home to find out that they suddenly had a daughter, but like Shanoa, all things that she wouldn’t trade for anything.\n\nCurio has the memories of her family, and coming to Jonestown with the same dream that most immigrants have, finding a better life, something that they could be proud of and enjoy. Though for her, the memories around that time turn a rather sour with the loss of her father and then the decline of her mother’s health and how she did her best to take care of her no matter how bad she felt. Then the memories of living on the streets, how she had to do things that she never wanted to or never thought that she would have to, to live, but thankfully her time on the streets weren't as bad as it could be. The memories of how the two men grabbed her and started dragging her off into that building and then the strange catwolf woman that came to save her, and how everything went up hill from there.\n\nThe time sitting at the gate seemed to fly by, before they knew it, the announcer spoke up, letting them know that it was time for them to start boarding, starting with the people that paid more for their seats, meaning that it was Shanoa, Anna and Curio that got up. Grabbing the carry on bags and that the cat carrier before heading off to get on the plane. Storing the bags in the overhead, Shanoa set the cat carrier in one of the seat before sitting down, Anna and Curio sitting in the two seats on the other side of the aisle, saying something about having a lot of room for being on a plane, just one of the perks of flying first class and with Shanoa.\n\nLike the other flight, things went smoothly, the three nodding off just a little after take off and sleeping through just about all of the flight, only to wake up to the sound of the pilot letting them know that they would be landing soon, to put the trays up and all that, even letting them know what the weather would be like for the day. Once the plane touched down and parked, there was a little bit of a rush as people got up and started getting bags out of the overheads, again, Shanoa and her family were just right there at the front of the plane, meaning that they would be some of the first off, and had a little more room to get their bags down.\n\n“Welcome to our new life.” Shanoa said as the tree stepped off of the connecting walkway and into the airport.\n\n“So this is MarbleCliff.” Curio said looking around as Shanoa walked up to one of the signs, looking for the bag pick up.\n\n“Well this is the airport.” Anna said as they adjusted their bags and walked up to Shanoa.\n\n“We will get to see the city on the way to the house.” She said looking to the little bat before they started walking off to the bag pick up. “And I’m sure that once things get settled we can all take a little trip into the city to have a look around, go shopping and things like that.”\n\n“That sounds like fun.” Curio spoke up as they stepped onto the escalator and started riding it down.\n\n“Well you know…” Shanoa said as she glanced back at the two, “you two could take a little trip into the city and buy some food and stuff for us to cook tonight, and then tomorrow we could all go into the city.” She said as she stepped off the escalator.\n\n“I love the way that you volunteered us for that.” Anna said with a little snicker, “let me guess, you need to stick around and make sure that the movers put things in the right place?”\n\n“Well that comes tomorrow.” Shanoa said with a little snicker as they kept walking to the bag pick up, the kitten wiggling around in her carrier. “As for today, I have a lot of paperwork and things like that.” She said as they got to the bag pick up and started waiting.\n\n“That sounds like it’s going to be fun.” Anna said shaking her head a little as the bags started coming out of the opening and onto the conveyor belt.\n\n“A blast.” Shanoa said rolling her eyes a little. “I have to go sign the papers for the lease and meet that person to pick up the keys, then I have to go talk to the insurance people and show them my papers and prove to them I know what I’m doing, and then I was thinking about scouting out a hospital or something and maybe steal someone.”\n\n“That sounds kinda mean.” Anna said looking to her wife. “Can’t you just put out an add or something?”\n\n“I could, but sometimes it's more… Effective to… Seek out people and recruit them.” Shanoa paused a moment to think of a better way to word it. “The medical world can be a dog eat dog kinda place when it comes to getting employees that are good and know that they are doing, especially when it comes to opening your own place like this.” Shanoa said as she started reaching out for the passing bags of theirs.\n\nOnce they had gathered up the bags, they started heading off to the exit of the airport, to the sight of a taxi waiting on them, holding up a sign with Shanoa’s last name on it. With a little help from the driver, they got the bags loaded into the car and then they were off to the house. All three of them looking around at the different buildings, taking notes of places like stores, and things like that. Soon they pulled up to the house, Shanoa smiling at the sight of the car that was outside of the garage, knowing that they had dropped off the cars and that she or Anna and Curio wouldn’t need a taxi to get around. Once the driver was paid, the bags in the house and a little tour Shanoa went into the garage, while Anna and Curio went out to the car.\n\n“Shanoa, we’re going to go get some stuff to stock the fridge.” Anna called out as the garage door started opening.\n\n“Well you're going to need this.” Shanoa said stepping out, and offering the doe the checkbook. \n\n“Oh god, Shanoa…. You’re not going to do what I think that you are, are you?” Anna asked, looking at the catwolf wearing a motorcycle helmet, fine leather jacket, fingerless gloves and boots too.\n\n“I’m not going to do anything bad… I’m just going to stretch her legs.” She said looking back to the pink kawasaki ninja zx-14r. “I’m not going to floor it or anything.”\n\n“Shanoa…. I know that you don’t have to floor it to go fast on that thing.” Anna said shaking her head a little.\n\n“I’m not going to speed or anything, just going to drive it around.” She said rolling her eyes. “Come on, you got to give me a little credit.”\n\n“Ok, just make sure that you behave and be careful.” Anna said shaking her head a little as she turned to get into the car. “I love you.”\n\n“I love you too.” Shanoa said as she walked back to the bike as Anna started to pull off. Once Anna had pulled off and gave the catwolf some room, she walked the bike out onto the driveway before pressing the button to close the garage door. She took a moment or two to look the bike over and make sure that everything was in order. This bike was her pride and joy, something that she had imported from Japan, and had a lot of work done to it, most all of the work was done by her. She ‘fixed’ the speed limiter, a nice slip-on exhaust, extra bright lights, japanese language displays, she had even installed a nitrous system on it, the only thing that she needed was the racing tires and she would have a truely mean bike, then again she was a little lazy to put them on, especially if she was just riding around the city.\n\nShouldering her bag backpack before walking the bike to the end of the driveway and getting on, shivering a little. “Oh baby, it’s been to long.” She said holding onto the handlebars, getting a feel for her pride and joy again before putting the key in, and turning it on. The bike roared to life, her purring was quickly and easily drowned out as she revved the engine a few times, letting the loud roar of the bike rattle the windows around her before she let go of the break and turned out onto the fairly long road that she was now living on. She was smart enough to make sure that there were no police around before she started flying down the street a little faster than she should have.\n\n---------------------------------------\n\nSomehow Shanoa had made it to the first stop on her list without getting pulled over or anything. The first thing on her list was to meet with the owner of the building that she would be leasing out. She pulled into the parking lot of the building, a little surprised at how much better the it looked in person compared to the photos, and the photos made it look good. Parking her bike in one of the spots close to the door, she smiled a little as she cut the engine and caught the look of the man that was waiting at the door.\n\nAs she was walking up to him, she pulled her helmet off, running a paw through her hair to smooth it out a little. “I take it that you’re Mr. Schroder.” Shanoa said as she walked up to the male hog, helmet tucked under one arm, paw out to shake his hand.\n\n“I am, and I would guess that you are Mrs. Shanoa?” He asked, taking her hand and shaking it a little surprised.\n\n“I am.” She said smiling, “I’m sorry I’m not dressed more for business.” \n\n“It’s ok.” He said stepping back and opening the door, “let's step into my office and we will get everything done.” The hog said leading the catwolf into the building, her boots clicking on the floor as she was lead to the office.\n\n“Don’t worry, I’m a doctor and all that, I just have a wild streak… That and my bike needed a little riding.” Shanoa said as they got to the office, “and don’t you mean my office.”\n\nThe hog laughed a little as he sat down behind the desk, Shanoa sitting down across from him. “You know, I like you.” He said leaning in a little, interlacing his fingers, he might have been an imposing person, if Shanoa wasn’t used to this kind of thing.\n\n“Well you know… If you like me and all, you could give me a discount.” She said with a little snicker. “But anyway… Let’s get down to it.” She said leaning in. “You know my intentions, I’m sure that you know that I have the money.” She said reaching into her bag and pulling out an envelope. “This has the first month’s lease.” She said setting the envelope down on the desk and sliding it over to him.\n\n“Are you sure that you’re not a businesswoman?” He asked as he took the envelope and opened it, looking over the check. “I’m sure that you know that you will have to wait till the check clears….” He said folding it and tucking it into his shirt pocket. \n\n“Oh I know it works, but I also know my benefactor, and I know that they have the money to cover this.” She said leaning back in her chair, “so I guess that I will be back here in three days?”\n\n“Well that’s good to know that you have a benefactor already.” He said smiling a bit, “well I feel like I could go ahead and talk to you about the rules.” The hog said taking a deep breath. “I’m sure that you know that there will be rules to leasing this place, and don’t worry, I’m a man of simplicities… Or do I even need to go over the rules with you?”\n\n“I read through the agreement and all that, I’m not one of those people that just signs things.” Shanoa said smiling, “so it looks like everything is in order until the check clears.” Shanoa said getting up and holding out her hand.\n\n“That sounds fine to me.” He said taking her paw and giving it a shake, “I will see you the twenty-eighth.”\n\n“You got it… And I expect my office to be clean when I come back.” She said with a little snicker as she turned and walked out, back to her bike before getting ready and heading off.\n\n-------------------------------------------\n\nThe catwolf was a little lost in driving, trying to remember the street that she need to turn onto, hoping that she was on the right street to start with. She might have been driving a little faster than she should have. This was confirmed when she saw the flashing blue lights behind her, causing her to pull off to the side of the road as the cop car came to a stop behind her. She cut the engine and let out a little huff as she pulled her helmet off and hung it on one of the handle bars, glancing back at the approaching officer.\n\n“Licence, registration and insurance, please,” a bobcat said as he approached. He was likely in his mid twenties, and somewhat lightly dressed for the cold weather.\n\n“Watashi wa sore o shinakatta.” She muttered as she pulled her backpack from her shoulder and dug through a small pocket, pulling out the requested documents and offering them to the bobcat.\n\nAs he glanced over the items he asked the all too often recited, “Do you know why I pulled you over, ma’am?”\n\n“Amarini mo kawaī.” She said with a little snicker before looking up to the officer. “I didn’t think that I was doing anything wrong,” she said with a little shrug. “Maybe a little speeding…”\n\nAs if ignoring what her comments he responded, “With the weather, and the fact that you are riding a motorcycle, you’re mildly excessive speed could have had worse consequences than a simple speeding ticket. Please wait here.” her turned back to his cruiser with her documentation in paw.\n\n “I wasn’t going that fast.” She muttered as she watc\nhed him walking off in one of her mirrors. “Dikku…. Well I have another story to tell Anna.”\nAs he returned she could hear me talking into the radio clicked to his shoulder, “This is Officer Goodmen, I’ve got the The DRH call, is it something new or just another call?” A fuzzy female voice on the radio said, “can you get me some of those muffins while you’re there?” followed by an other. “Keep the radio chatter down.” The bobcat shook his head with a little smile on his mizzle, “Okay ma’am, I’m just going to give you a warning this time. You might want to slow things down a little. We’ve had a few black ice incidents with winter.” he started to hand her papers back as he asked, “you wouldn’t happen to know Miss Hawkins would you?”\n\n“Not off the top of my head… Me and my wife just moved here today.” She said as she started putting her papers back into the little pocket on her bag. “Should I know them? Are they rich old farts with nice cars or something?”\n\n“No, nothing like that,” he said, “ you quick japanese quips just reminded me of her a bit. Especially the ‘I didn’t do it’ thing. She usually goes with german, russian or french though.”\n\n“Hmmmm. If she knows that many languages, I might look her… Does she have a criminal record? I don’t think that my wife would let me hire anyone with a record.” The catwolf said with a little snicker.\n\nWith a bit of a snicker, almost as if at some inside joke, he said, “You’ll find out who is he soon enough if you watch the news at all. Have a nice day.” He nodded and turned back to his car.\n“Well she sounds like my kind of people.” The hybrid said as she picked up her helmet, watching the officer walking off. “Or at least fun to drink with.” Shanoa said as she slipped her helmet on, cranking up the bike and revving it a few times out of habit, before heading off down the road, this time paying a little more attention to the speed as she headed off to her next appointment.\n\nShanoa had ended up cutting it a little close with making her appointment with the insurance rep, not because of the cop pulling her over, but more for the fact that she had thought far enough ahead to memorize the route to the place. After a stop and a quick look on her phone she had found the place. Pulling into a parking spot she cut the engine and pulled her helmet off, putting down the kickstand before getting off and heading into the building.\n\nStepping into the building, she looked around a little as she headed over to the receptionist's desk. “Appointment for Kiyomizu.” She said as she watched the canine looking through a list.\n\n“I will let Miss Porter know that you’re here.” She said motioning to a set of chairs being her. “Please have a seat.”\n\nUn-shouldering her bag as she slouched in one of the chairs, pulling out her phone and looking at it, seeing that she had a message from Anna, letting her know that her and Curio had made it home from getting stuff to stock the fridge and cabinets. She typed out a quick reply and a I love you to them before looking up in time to see a king charles spaniel in a suit nodding to her.\n\n“You must be Mrs. Shanoa.” She said holding out a fluffy paw. “I’m Hermione.”\n\n“I am.” The catwolf said standing up and taking the canine’s hand and giving it a shake. “It’s nice to meet you.” She said as the two started walking back to the canine’s office.\n\n“So you need some coverage for a clinic that you’re opening.” She said as she walked around her desk and took a seat as Shanoa took a seat as well.\n\n“Yes ma’am.” Shanoa said leaning in a little. “I practically have the building, just waiting on the check to clear for that one.”\n\n“Sounds like someone has all of their ducks in a row.” The canine said with a little snicker. “Well I’m sure that you went over the paperwork and stuff that I sent you, is there anything that you want to ask?”\n\n“Well, the one thing, I know that the premiums will go up after the first year.” She said, watching her nod a little, the catwolf having picked up a few things from working with the doctors from Jonestown. “And two questions.” She said reaching for her bag, and pulling it onto her lap. “This policy has a consent to settlement provision in it right? And does the policy come with Tail coverage, or is that something that I have to get added on?”\n\n“It looks like you have looked into all of this, which, that’s a good thing.” Hermione said with a little nod as she pulled out a folder. “There is a consent to settlement provision in the policy, you don’t have to worry about doing anything without asking or talking to you. One of the things that we pride ourselves on is communication with our customers.” She said opening the folder, showing off the page with the mentioned provision and info. “And as for the Tail coverage, that is included with your chosen policy.”\n\n“Well that handles everything that I need to know.” She said reaching into her bag, pulling out a little a little envelope. “This would be for you.” She said pulling out the check, “so what do I need to sign?”\n\nThe dog let out a little snicker, “you know… You’re right to the point, I like that.” She said flipping through the folder, opening it to a page, marking places that she needed signatures or initials.\n\n“Well I have been doing things like this for a while, hanging out with doctors like I did back home, you pick up a few things.” She said leaning in and starting to sign the papers. “That and my dad taught me a few things about business...and a wife with a business degree.” She said as she kept signing the different places that was marked on the paper.\n\n“I take it that your wife is going to be helping out around the place.” The insurance agent asked as Shanoa finished up signing the papers.\n\n“She’s going to be handing all of the HR and things like that, I’m just going to be handling the patients, and finding other people to take up office space.” She said with a little snicker as she pulled out the check and signed it. “This would be for you.” She said handing over the check.\n\n“Thank you Mrs. Shanoa.” She said taking the check and slipping it into the folder before closing it and holding her hand out. “It’s been good meeting you, and I look forward to working with you.”\n\n“Thank you.” The catwolf said as she got up, taking the offered hand and giving it a good shake. “Hopefully it won't be too much work that I give you.” She said with a little snicker as she shouldered her bag and turned to head out.\n\nOnce she was outside of the building, she pulled out her phone, looking at it, seeing a message from Chloe. She snickered a little as she read it, it was something from the whole group, wishing her luck and what not. She typed out a response, letting them know how things were going before getting onto her bike and putting on her helmet. Starting and revving it before pulling out of the parking lot.\n\nWith all of that done, that took care of the biggest part of her list, the only things that were left were to wait till the check cleared, but she knew that it would. She thought that it might be a good idea to go see the mayor, maybe even find this Hawkens person. All of that could wait for a little, right now, she wanted to get home to see her wife and daughter, and get some lunch in there somewhere.\n\n----------------------------------------\n\nFri. Feb. 28th 2014\n\nFriday rolled around pretty quickly, the family had spend the few days before getting the things in the new place set up, cleaned up and good to go, and then a good bit of time looking around the town, visiting some of the different stores and parks that they found. Shanoa had finally thought of a name for the clinic, even her, Anna and Curio had started making up a few flyer designs. Now that it was Friday, Shanoa had a few things added to her list. First thing was first, she was off to see the guy that she was now leasing the place after getting a call from him letting her know that the check had cleared.\n\nPulling in and parking in one of the spots, her, Anna and Curio got out of the car and started for the building that she would be now working out of and running. “Wow, this place is nice.” Anna said as they walked up to the door, Shanoa pulling it open for them.\n\n“I have a good eye.” The catwolf said with a little snicker.\n\n“Mrs. Shanoa.” A male’s voice called, “it’s nice to see you again.” The male hog said walking up to her. “It's a pleasure to meet your wife and daughter as well.” He said turning to them and giving them a little nod. “Why don’t you two take a look around, that way you don’t have to get bored with all the business talk.” He said as him and Shanoa made for the office, leaving Anna and Curio to look around.\n\n“Hey, you cleaned my office.” Shanoa said with a little snicker as they walked into the office, she took a seat in front of the desk, letting him have one more turn sitting behind her desk.\n\n“Well I am a man of my word.” He said reaching into a briefcase, and pulling out a folder. “This place isn’t yours just yet.” He said opening the folder, “I just need you to sign some things.” The hog said sliding her the folder and a pen.\n\n“I feel like about all that I have done since I got here is paperwork.” Shanoa said shaking her head a little as she went about reading over the pages and signing things.\n\n“So if I may ask, have you come up with a name?” The male asked as he leaned back in his chair, watching the catwolf signing things, before she glanced up at him.\n\n“I have, I thought that Kiyomizu Medical Offices might be a little of a muzzle full, so I’m going with Open Paws Medical.” She said with a little smile, looking up as she finished signing the papers. “Well I do believe I am now officially leasing this place.” She said pushing the folder and pen back to him. “It’s been a pleasure working with you.” She said holding out her paw.\n\n“It’s been a pleasure working with you too, I look forward to working with you more.” He said taking her paw and giving it a shake, “I’m sure that you have some things that you need to get moved in and changed around in your office.” He said getting up and walking over to the door. “And if you need anything, don’t hesitate to get in touch with me.” He said before reaching into his pocket. “And I’m sure that you will need these.” He said handing over a ring of keys to her.\n\n“Thank you.” She said as she took the keys and the hog left. She smiled as she walked around and took a seat at her desk. “It’s happened.” She said with a happy sigh, “thank you Chloe.” She said as she sat at the desk, smiling growing as Anna and Curio walked into the room. \n\n“This place is nice.” Anna said as she walked in, looking around the office, “though this place doesn’t look like a twister hit it.” She said looking around the office that was practically empty.\n\n“Well that part takes a few days or so to get to.” Shanoa said with a little snicker, “though I’m going to try and keep it clean.” She said getting up, “come on, lets go get my stuff.” She said as the group started heading back to the car to start grabbing the few boxes and bags of things that Shanoa had gotten to stock her office.\n\nIt took one or two trips to get everything into the office and just about an hour or so to get things opened and put away. A nice new computer to take up part of her desk, folders, papers, a printer and a few other things to round it out, even topping things off with a photo of the family and a photo of the group from back home. Once all of that was done, Anna and Curio took Shanoa on a little tour, showing off the office as they found it, Curio even saying something about helping out behind the receptionist's desk.\n\nThere was just one thing left to do. Shanoa had set up an appointment for Curio to see a local pediatrician, a clever plot for Shanoa to meet and hopefully steal one of the local docs. After dropping Anna off at the house her and Curio made their way to the UNHM building, snagging a spot close to the door before getting out and heading in were Shanoa got them signed in, and then the waiting game started.\n\n“Kiyomizu….I think.” A voice called out, a female feline poking her head into the waiting room.\n\n“You got it right.” Shanoa said as she and Curio got up and walked over to her, the nurse leading them to one of the exaimination rooms were the little bat hopped up on the paper lined bed.\n\n“Dr. Tomlinson will be with you in just a few moments.” The feline said before slipping out of the room. It wasn’t too long after that, that an older male marmoset poked his head into the room before stepping in.\n\n“You must be Ms. Kiyomizu.” He said walking over to the catwolf, holding out his paw.\n\n“Shanoa is fine.” She said taking his paw and giving it a shake before watching him turning to the younger bat.\n\n“And this lovely lass must be Curio.” He said walking over to her and shaking her hand as well.\n\n“So Doc.” Shanoa said as she watched the pediatrician going about the check up. “Ever think of working somewhere else? A nice private office… Like mine?”\n\n“Are you trying to steal me ma’am?” He asked cutting the hybrid a look before going back to working.\n\n“Well yes.” She said with a little shrug. “You see, I have a little private office that I opened here and well it’s kinda on the big side, and I’m sure I could use a few more people there. I mean I’m pretty sure and full of myself, but once I get a little further along in the pregnancy, I’m going to need another pediatrician there.”\n\n“I think that I’m going to have to pass.” He said letting out a little sigh as he scribbled something down and then turned to the catwolf. “I’m getting old. It’s about time for me to slow down and take things easy, not embark on a brand new endeavor.” He said with a little shrug.\n\n“Well I guess that you don’t want to work part time, making your own schedule, own office, all of that… I guess being a walmart greeter could be fun.” She said with a little shrug of her own.\n\nThe marmoset was silent for a moment, looking at the hybrid. “Well when you put it like that.” He said smiling a little, “you sure that your a pediatrician and not a businesswoman?” He asked with a little laugh as he kept filling out some papers.\n\n“I’m sure, the wife is the businesswoman….Though, having a businessman for a father, you pick up a few things pretty quick.” She said as she watched him closing the folder. “So I take it I will see you in your new office in about two weeks?” She asked with a smile as she got up.\n\n“Yes ma’am.” He said taking her paw and shaking it again. “I want a nice office, one with a view and a little putting green.” He said joking.\n\n“Good to have you aboard, and I would be careful what you wish for.” She said poking her tongue out a little before the two shared a laugh.\n\n“Well I have done all that I need here. A nurse will be in, in a moment to draw some blood, and then you two can be on your way, I’m sure your wife is cooking you two a nice dinner.” He said before giving the two a little wave and slipping out of the room.\n\n“Momma, I don’t think that I needed a check up.” Curio’s tablet spoke up, causing the hybrid to smile a little. “I think that you were just using me as bait….and I think that I need an advance on my allowance….or a little extra.”\n\n“Ok...I would say that you have been around dad to much, but I’m pretty sure that’s Anna’s doing.” She said looking over to the bat. “And no, I wasn’t just using you as bait… It was getting time for your check up, so I decided to kill two birds with one stone.” She paused a moment, “Don’t tell your mother….” She said slipping her daughter a couple of twenties. “You know, your granddad would be proud.”\n\n“Maybe I can get him to tell me how to get you to really raise my allowance.” She said smiling and poking her tongue out a little.\n\n“I’m sure that we can work something out. Like I said, if you help out around the office, I’m sure that we can give you a bigger allowance.” Shanoa said, a knocking drawing their attention to the door as the nurse stepped in.\n\n“Hello sweetie.” The female feline said as she sat the little basket down on the bed by Curio. “This might hurt a little.” She said as she started setting up to draw some blood. For all the blood, truman and other gross and horrible things that she had seen, there was something about seeing her daughter having blood work done that squicked the mother catwolf out, causing her to glance around the room a little as the nurse worked. “Ok, all done.” She said gathering up her things. “If you two head on out, and stop at the front desk, they can get you scheduled for results and anything else that you need.” She said before slipping out of the room.\n\nOnce she was gone, Shanoa and Curio made their way to the front of the office, stopping at the desk, getting everything set up, letting the receptionist know where to send the results and even setting up Curio’s next check up, before they left, heading back home and to the dinner that Anna was working, that and most likely a few movies together.\n",

Feb. 24th 2014<br />Packing day.</strong></div><br /><br />It had been a busy week or so for Shanoa and Anna.&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa was on and off the phone with different people about the place that she was now renting, the people who she was now leasing a medical office from, the moving people, and all of that top off with her and Anna going to the specialist to finish up the invetro procedure, meaning that Shanoa was now officially a mother to be, and Anna was already treating her like it.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />They were down to the last thing on their list of todo.&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna and Shanoa had already taken the cars to the transporters, and with the help of Jack, got back home.&nbsp;&nbsp; They had packed up the clothing and things that they would need to make it through the night at the new place before their things got there and un-packed.&nbsp;&nbsp;The last thing that they had to do was get the little things packed up, and make sure that the kitten didn&rsquo;t get packed up into one of the countless cat traps that laid around the house.<br /><br />&ldquo;You know, it&rsquo;s still a little surprising that you can orchestrate a move, the rental of a house, and the lease of a building in just a day over a week&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; Are you sure that you don&rsquo;t have some kind of background in business?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna asked as she glanced over to her wife who was standing at the closet, taking out clothing, folding it and putting them into a box.<br /><br />&ldquo;I&rsquo;m just that good.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The catwolf said with a little snicker as she held up a dress to herself.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; You know&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; We are going to have to go shopping for some more clothes.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said as she started folding it up and putting it into the box.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; And as for the background&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;I didn&rsquo;t go to school for it or anything, dad was one of those shrewd business men that you hear about all the time.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Your wardrobe is something that you think ahead about&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; But you just kinda jump off into most anything.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna said shaking her head a little.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Once you start showing, then we will take you out to get some nice clothes&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; My treat.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The doe said as she kept working on packing up the different odds and ends that sat on a dresser.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well, you know I&rsquo;m a private practitioner now, I need to look the part.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said with a little snicker.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Oh god, I still need to come up with a name for the place.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said shaking her head a little.<br /><br />&ldquo;Oh so you mean that you&rsquo;re going to wear something other than scrubs and whine about how they make you look flat?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna teased, &ldquo;and I&rsquo;m sure that we will come up with something&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; We have a under the bed.<br /><br />&ldquo;Yeah, I think that Chloe would come for me if I did that.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said with a little shrug, &ldquo;while she wants to do good and help people, she kinda wants to stay on the down low&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;I&rsquo;m sure that we can come up with something before time.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Oh I know that we can&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; We could go with something cheesy and cute&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;I mean you are a pediatrician are you not?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna asked, pausing for a moment.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Soft Paws Medical Clinic&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;That is cheesy, but kinda cute.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said with a little snicker, &ldquo;the only thing is it&rsquo;s going to be more than just a pediatrician it.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said looking over to Anna who was shaking her head a little.<br /><br />&ldquo;I think when she said that, she meant my actual name not the nickname.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said rolling her eyes a little.<br /><br />&ldquo;I don&rsquo;t know I think that I like that one better momma Anna.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Curio said smiling up to the doe.<br /><br />&ldquo;Two to one.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said going to sit on the edge of the bed, Curio coming to join her.<br /><br />&ldquo;You all done packing up sweetie, or you taking a break?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna came over, joining the other two on the bed.<br /><br />&ldquo;All done.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said happily, looking up to Anna.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I got everything in the boxes&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;I just need you to help me close them up and stuff.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said looking over to Shanoa, who picked up the packing tape gun.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well then Squeakie&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Let&#039;s go have a look.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said getting up, the little bat doing the same before heading off to her room.<br /><br />&ldquo;Momma, what kinda room am I going to have at the house?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Curio asked as the two got to her room and started checking through the boxes to make sure that she had packed everything, before getting to work taping all of them up.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;The place that we will be renting, it has three bedrooms&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; The one that me and Anna picked out, and then two more&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; You can nice.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said nodding happily as she watched her mother sealing up the box.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Momma, what&rsquo;s going to happen to the other bedroom?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Well that&rsquo;s going to be mine and Anna&rsquo;s office.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said as they moved on to the next box, repeating the process of checking it and then sealing it.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Anna is going to have half of it for her office, cause she&rsquo;s helping me with the clinic, and then the other half will be mine&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; It&rsquo;s all really boring.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said with a little snicker.<br /><br />&ldquo;That sounds like it would be boring.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Curio said, nodding a little.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; Will I get to decorate the room like I want?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Kind of&hellip;&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The catwolf said as the moved onto yet another box.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; We kinda want to avoid hanging a lot of things on the walls see as we are just renting it, but&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;I tell you what.&nbsp;&nbsp; When we get moved into the house that me, you and Anna are going to pick out, I will take you out to buy all kinds of things that you would want for your room, sound fair?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;That sounds awesome.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Curio said, rushing over and hugging her mother, who let out a happy purr as she returned the hug.<br /><br />&ldquo;Ooooh Momma&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;I&rsquo;m thirteen&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Does that mean that I can help out at the clinic and get a bigger allowance.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said causing the catwolf to look up to her daughter and smile, mostly at the fact that she was starting to take after her and Anna more and more.<br /><br />&ldquo;I don&rsquo;t know&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Working at a place like that can be a lot of work&hellip;&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said tapping the side of her muzzle in thought.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I&rsquo;m sure that I can find you some things to do around there for a bigger allowance.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said letting out a little squeak as she felt her daughter hugging her again.<br /><br />&ldquo;I have the best moms&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Curio said stepping back, smiling happily.<br /><br />&ldquo;And we have the best daughter.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said getting up and holding her paw out, &ldquo;speaking of moms, let&#039;s go see how your other mom is doing with our room.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said as they went back to Anna and Shanoa&rsquo;s room.&nbsp;&nbsp; The three spent the rest of the day getting the rest of the small things packed up, writing names or where the box went on the boxes, by the time it was all done, the three were ready for dinner and bed, knowing that they all had a busy day ahead of them tomorrow.<br /><br /><div class='align_center'><strong>Tue. Feb. 25th 2014<br />Moving Day</strong></div><br /><br />Much to the family&rsquo;s dismay, the alarm clock&rsquo;s call came nice and early in the morning.&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna was the first to get up, turning off the alarm clock before setting about getting her wife up, which was a task in and of itself, getting Curio up and going was a lot easier than getting Shanoa up.&nbsp;&nbsp;Once again, Shanoa had booked a flight nice and early to avoid the traffic even though she wasn&rsquo;t the one that would be driving.<br /><br />&ldquo;Shanoa, it&#039;s time to get up.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna said said nudging the sleeping catwolf next to her, getting a sound that was a cross between a hiss and mewl.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Ok&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; You have till I get up and get dressed before I go get the icepack.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna said slowly rubbing the sleep from her eyes as she got up and walked over to the dresser that had the last bits of clothes that wasn&rsquo;t in a box and on the way to New Hampshire.<br /><br />&ldquo;Can&rsquo;t function, need coffee.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The catwolf said sitting up in bed, rubbing her eyes, before sliding out of the bed and stretching a little.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well you know if you didn&rsquo;t pick flights that take off at the butt crack of dawn you could sleep in a little.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna said as she pulled on her shirt and picking up a comb to straighten out her short blond hair.<br /><br />&ldquo;You know that I don&rsquo;t like trafic.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa muttered as she walked up to the doe, reaching out for the clothes that she had laid out the night before.<br /><br />&ldquo;You know that you&rsquo;re not even driving right?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna asked, shaking her head a little as she watched her wife getting dressed.<br /><br />&ldquo;I still don&rsquo;t like trafic.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa muttered before looking to Anna, putting on her cute needy eyes.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Could you be a dear and make coffee?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;The coffee maker is in a box.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna said with a little snicker from the door.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; You get dressed, I&rsquo;m going to get Curio up and ready, and I&rsquo;m sure that you can get coffee on the way there.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;Fuck.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa swore as she pulled her shirt on, having a little trouble with her long hair.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; How do people function without it?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She muttered as she started brushing through her hair, before setting about getting the linens and pillows off of the bed and into a box before sealing it up and shambling off.<br /><br />Once the family was up, and the bed linens were boxed and good to go, next came the final task before Jack got there.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Ok&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; So how are we doing this?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna asked, looking from the cat crate to the kitten that just seemed to know that something was up.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well all of the doors are closed, so there&rsquo;s not that many places she can run.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said looking to the cat, still not all there.&nbsp;&nbsp; The moment that she standing there.<br /><br />&ldquo;Good morning ladies.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said nodding to everyone as he stepped in, &ldquo;I hope that I&rsquo;m not to early.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Jack said looking at the two that were still sitting on the sofa.<br /><br />&ldquo;Not at all&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Just in time to watch the fun of catching a cat&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Feel free to sit down.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said as she turned to head to the cat, who the moment that she reached down to scoop her up, shot off.<br /><br />&ldquo;I don&rsquo;t think that it&rsquo;s going to work like that sweetie.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna said watching Shanoa look at the cat before starting to walk over to her again, and again the kitten shot off and ran, this time hopping up onto the sofa that Jack was sitting on and into his lap.<br /><br />&ldquo;You know, you&rsquo;re going to be having three kids running around.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Jack said as he carefully scooped up the kitten and held her, giving her some pets as he got up and walked over to Shanoa and the pet carrier.<br /><br />&ldquo;Bite me.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said shaking her head a little as they got the kitten into the carrier and the door closed.<br /><br />&ldquo;Love you to.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said with a little snicker as he turned and looked at the small collection of suitcases by the door.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Shall we?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He asked, walking over and picking up two of them.<br /><br />&ldquo;You know&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Kids and cats are two different things, I&rsquo;m good with kids&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Cats on the other hand.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said as she walked over and picked up two more suitcases, Anna and Curio right behind her, doing the same.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; They are freaking mysteries.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said with a little shrug as they walked to Jack&rsquo;s van.<br /><br />&ldquo;You know, aren&#039;t you like part cat?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The large dog asked as he started loading the suitcases into the back of the van.<br /><br />&ldquo;Yup and I still don&rsquo;t understand cats&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; No one does, not even us.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said, it was clear that she was starting to get a little more awake, partly thanks to the fact that the sun was coming up.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; It only took one more trip to get the last of the bags and the cat carrier before everyone got settled into the car.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Oh&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; We need coffee.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;No&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;You need it.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna said shaking her head a little.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;You know that you&rsquo;re going to have to cut way back on that stuff.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Jack said with a little snicker as he started the car, and started heading out.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I mean, you&rsquo;re going to be a mom with a lovely litter of five.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said, managing to keep from laughing to much.<br /><br />&ldquo;I would say something, but there&rsquo;s a minor in the car.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said glancing over to the dog.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; You sound like my sister with that&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Something about tempting fate, karma and stuff.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;You know&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; It would be something for karma to come in and bite you on this&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; Then again with some of the things that you have done, I think that you would end up with a litter of thirteen or something.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The canine said, laughing now as they pulled into the drive through of a MC Donalds.<br /><br />&ldquo;You know what.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said lifting her hand to hide her muzzle, &ldquo;fuck you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She mouthed to the dog as he pulled up to the drive through.<br /><br />&ldquo;Good morning, would you like to try our breakfast platter?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The voice crackled over the speaker.<br /><br />&ldquo;No, I need two medium coffees, cream and sugars on the side please.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Jack said glancing back to the two in the back seat.<br /><br />&ldquo;Ummm, bacon and egg biscuits for me and Curio, cokes to drink.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna spoke up before Jack turned to Shanoa.<br /><br />&ldquo;Same thing for me.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said, letting out a little yawn as Jack turned and relayed the order to the worker, confirming it before pulling up to the window.<br /><br />&ldquo;Mr. Jack, do you really think that momma Shanoa is going to have that many babies?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Curio spoke up, causing the male to giggle a little.<br /><br /><br />&ldquo;I don&rsquo;t think that she would have that many.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said shooting the catwolf a glance, &ldquo; If it was up to me, if I was karma, I think that I would give her two&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; So I&rsquo;m going to say that she&rsquo;s going to end up with twins.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;You know&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; If I have twins, I&rsquo;m coming all the way back to Jonestown and punch you in the dick.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said shaking her head a little as they got to the window.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I mean, I could handle two, but&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;I would still come back for you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said, letting out a happily little sound as she was handed her coffee.<br /><br />&ldquo;You say that like I&rsquo;m afraid of you&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;I know that Anna and Curio would keep you in check.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Jack said with a little snicker as he handed out the food and drinks before pulling to the side to take the time for him and Shanoa to get their coffees the way that they like them.<br /><br />&ldquo;Don&rsquo;t worry Jack, I won&rsquo;t let her do anything like that to you&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;I&rsquo;m sure that she would earn twins or more&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;I know how she can be.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna said with a little snicker.<br /><br />&ldquo;Yeah Mr. Jack, if momma Shanoa has that many babies, she would be to busy to be mean to you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Curio spoke up.<br /><br />&ldquo;You know&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; If I end up with twins or something, then I&rsquo;m going to need a little more help from you two&hellip;&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said shaking her head a little, &ldquo;so, y&rsquo;all can stop trying to curse me anytime.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said as the car started up, starting back on the trip to the airport.<br /><br />&ldquo;So Shanoa, I have to ask&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; All this moving, and getting this operation&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Just how much planning and thought did you put into this?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Jack asked, taking a sip of his coffee before putting it into the cup holder.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well, the operation part was kinda my idea.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna spoke up from the back, between bites of her food.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; It was a little something that I got her for christmas, cause I know that she wanted to be a mom and all that, that goes with that story.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Ok, so I know some good planning went into that.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The canine said before briefly looking over to Shanoa.<br /><br />&ldquo;What&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;I planned some of this out&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;I mean, I called ahead and got us a place, and made sure that I got the building and all that&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;I just did it quick and on short notice.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said, sipping her coffee and purring happily.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I might be a little on the wild and reckless side, but I do know when I need to stop and think things out and plan things out.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Sometimes at least.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Jack said with a little snicker.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Just remember, like Chloe said, we want to see you, so make sure that you come back sometime, I want to see my god kids.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The canine said with a smile.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; So Anna, make sure she does that.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Oh you don&rsquo;t have to worry.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The doe said with a smile, &ldquo;I will make sure that we come back to see you, and I&rsquo;ll make sure that me or her will keep you up to date on Curio and the baby&rsquo;s progress.&rdquo;<br /><br />The rest of the trip went smoothly and pretty quickly, thanks to the fact that traffic hadn&rsquo;t gotten bad this early in the morning.&nbsp;&nbsp; The four spent the trip talking about different things, the place that they were going, all the things that Curio would get to see in the new city, even taking bets on how well Shanoa was going to handle being pregnant and then handling the kid or kids as Jack was sure it was going to be more than one.<br /><br />----------------------------<br /><br />The trip through the checkpoint at the airport went smoothly, though this was the first time that they had traveled with a pet, so that was a little interesting for them.&nbsp;&nbsp; The gate agent was a little surprised at the sight of the cat, having never seen a chimera cat before.&nbsp;&nbsp;Once they were done with going through the checkpoint, the family made their way to the gate, knowing that this would be leaving Jonestown to start a new life, that when they came back that it would be just for a visit.&nbsp;&nbsp; It was bitter-sweet for them all, Shanoa, Curio and Anna all had many memories that all had root here in Jonestown<br /><br />Shanoa has the memories of practically living in the ER when she first got here, how the addition to coffee got started.&nbsp;&nbsp; The sleepless nights when she was on call or the naps at her desk that lead her to getting the chair that she had now.&nbsp;&nbsp;Though the strongest memories of Jonestown would have to be her meeting Chloe and the path that, that set her down, the path that ended up leading her to saving and meeting her daughter Curio.&nbsp;&nbsp; All things that she wouldn&rsquo;t trade for anything.<br /><br />Anna has the memories of her and Shanoa going out and looking at houses, something bigger than the little two bedroom place that she catwolf was living in when they first met and Anna moved to Jonestown from South Carolina.&nbsp;&nbsp; The memories of getting the house the way that they wanted it, all the way up to the memories of finding out Shanoa&rsquo;s secrets, and coming home to find out that they suddenly had a daughter, but like Shanoa, all things that she wouldn&rsquo;t trade for anything.<br /><br />Curio has the memories of her family, and coming to Jonestown with the same dream that most immigrants have, finding a better life, something that they could be proud of and enjoy.&nbsp;&nbsp;Though for her, the memories around that time turn a rather sour with the loss of her father and then the decline of her mother&rsquo;s health and how she did her best to take care of her no matter how bad she felt.&nbsp;&nbsp; Then the memories of living on the streets, how she had to do things that she never wanted to or never thought that she would have to, to live, but thankfully her time on the streets weren&#039;t as bad as it could be.&nbsp;&nbsp; The memories of how the two men grabbed her and started dragging her off into that building and then the strange catwolf woman that came to save her, and how everything went up hill from there.<br /><br />The time sitting at the gate seemed to fly by, before they knew it, the announcer spoke up, letting them know that it was time for them to start boarding, starting with the people that paid more for their seats, meaning that it was Shanoa, Anna and Curio that got up.&nbsp;&nbsp;Grabbing the carry on bags and that the cat carrier before heading off to get on the plane.&nbsp;&nbsp;Storing the bags in the overhead, Shanoa set the cat carrier in one of the seat before sitting down, Anna and Curio sitting in the two seats on the other side of the aisle, saying something about having a lot of room for being on a plane, just one of the perks of flying first class and with Shanoa.<br /><br />Like the other flight, things went smoothly, the three nodding off just a little after take off and sleeping through just about all of the flight, only to wake up to the sound of the pilot letting them know that they would be landing soon, to put the trays up and all that, even letting them know what the weather would be like for the day.&nbsp;&nbsp;Once the plane touched down and parked, there was a little bit of a rush as people got up and started getting bags out of the overheads, again, Shanoa and her family were just right there at the front of the plane, meaning that they would be some of the first off, and had a little more room to get their bags down.<br /><br />&ldquo;Welcome to our new life.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said as the tree stepped off of the connecting walkway and into the airport.<br /><br />&ldquo;So this is MarbleCliff.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Curio said looking around as Shanoa walked up to one of the signs, looking for the bag pick up.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well this is the airport.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna said as they adjusted their bags and walked up to Shanoa.<br /><br />&ldquo;We will get to see the city on the way to the house.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said looking to the little bat before they started walking off to the bag pick up.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; And I&rsquo;m sure that once things get settled we can all take a little trip into the city to have a look around, go shopping and things like that.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;That sounds like fun.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Curio spoke up as they stepped onto the escalator and started riding it down.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well you know&hellip;&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said as she glanced back at the two, &ldquo;you two could take a little trip into the city and buy some food and stuff for us to cook tonight, and then tomorrow we could all go into the city.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said as she stepped off the escalator.<br /><br />&ldquo;I love the way that you volunteered us for that.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna said with a little snicker, &ldquo;let me guess, you need to stick around and make sure that the movers put things in the right place?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Well that comes tomorrow.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said with a little snicker as they kept walking to the bag pick up, the kitten wiggling around in her carrier.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; As for today, I have a lot of paperwork and things like that.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said as they got to the bag pick up and started waiting.<br /><br />&ldquo;That sounds like it&rsquo;s going to be fun.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna said shaking her head a little as the bags started coming out of the opening and onto the conveyor belt.<br /><br />&ldquo;A blast.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said rolling her eyes a little.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I have to go sign the papers for the lease and meet that person to pick up the keys, then I have to go talk to the insurance people and show them my papers and prove to them I know what I&rsquo;m doing, and then I was thinking about scouting out a hospital or something and maybe steal someone.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;That sounds kinda mean.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna said looking to her wife.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; Can&rsquo;t you just put out an add or something?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;I could, but sometimes it&#039;s more&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Effective to&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Seek out people and recruit them.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa paused a moment to think of a better way to word it.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; The medical world can be a dog eat dog kinda place when it comes to getting employees that are good and know that they are doing, especially when it comes to opening your own place like this.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said as she started reaching out for the passing bags of theirs.<br /><br />Once they had gathered up the bags, they started heading off to the exit of the airport, to the sight of a taxi waiting on them, holding up a sign with Shanoa&rsquo;s last name on it.&nbsp;&nbsp; With a little help from the driver, they got the bags loaded into the car and then they were off to the house.&nbsp;&nbsp; All three of them looking around at the different buildings, taking notes of places like stores, and things like that.&nbsp;&nbsp;Soon they pulled up to the house, Shanoa smiling at the sight of the car that was outside of the garage, knowing that they had dropped off the cars and that she or Anna and Curio wouldn&rsquo;t need a taxi to get around.&nbsp;&nbsp;Once the driver was paid, the bags in the house and a little tour Shanoa went into the garage, while Anna and Curio went out to the car.<br /><br />&ldquo;Shanoa, we&rsquo;re going to go get some stuff to stock the fridge.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna called out as the garage door started opening.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well you&#039;re going to need this.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said stepping out, and offering the doe the checkbook.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;Oh god, Shanoa&hellip;.&nbsp;&nbsp; You&rsquo;re not going to do what I think that you are, are you?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna asked, looking at the catwolf wearing a motorcycle helmet, fine leather jacket, fingerless gloves and boots too.<br /><br />&ldquo;I&rsquo;m not going to do anything bad&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;I&rsquo;m just going to stretch her legs.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said looking back to the pink kawasaki ninja zx-14r.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I&rsquo;m not going to floor it or anything.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Shanoa&hellip;.&nbsp;&nbsp;I know that you don&rsquo;t have to floor it to go fast on that thing.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna said shaking her head a little.<br /><br />&ldquo;I&rsquo;m not going to speed or anything, just going to drive it around.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said rolling her eyes.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Come on, you got to give me a little credit.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Ok, just make sure that you behave and be careful.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna said shaking her head a little as she turned to get into the car.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I love you.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;I love you too.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said as she walked back to the bike as Anna started to pull off.&nbsp;&nbsp;Once Anna had pulled off and gave the catwolf some room, she walked the bike out onto the driveway before pressing the button to close the garage door.&nbsp;&nbsp; She took a moment or two to look the bike over and make sure that everything was in order.&nbsp;&nbsp; This bike was her pride and joy, something that she had imported from Japan, and had a lot of work done to it, most all of the work was done by her.&nbsp;&nbsp; She &lsquo;fixed&rsquo; the speed limiter, a nice slip-on exhaust, extra bright lights, japanese language displays, she had even installed a nitrous system on it, the only thing that she needed was the racing tires and she would have a truely mean bike, then again she was a little lazy to put them on, especially if she was just riding around the city.<br /><br />Shouldering her bag backpack before walking the bike to the end of the driveway and&nbsp;&nbsp;getting on, shivering a little.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Oh baby, it&rsquo;s been to long.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said holding onto the handlebars, getting a feel for her pride and joy again before putting the key in, and turning it on.&nbsp;&nbsp; The bike roared to life, her purring was quickly and easily drowned out as she revved the engine a few times, letting the loud roar of the bike rattle the windows around her before she let go of the break and turned out onto the fairly long road that she was now living on.&nbsp;&nbsp; She was smart enough to make sure that there were no police around before she started flying down the street a little faster than she should have.<br /><br />---------------------------------------<br /><br />Somehow Shanoa had made it to the first stop on her list without getting pulled over or anything.&nbsp;&nbsp; The first thing on her list was to meet with the owner of the building that she would be leasing out.&nbsp;&nbsp; She pulled into the parking lot of the building, a little surprised at how much better the it looked in person compared to the photos, and the photos made it look good.&nbsp;&nbsp;Parking her bike in one of the spots close to the door, she smiled a little as she cut the engine and caught the look of the man that was waiting at the door.<br /><br />As she was walking up to him, she pulled her helmet off, running a paw through her hair to smooth it out a little.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I take it that you&rsquo;re Mr. Schroder.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said as she walked up to the male hog, helmet tucked under one arm, paw out to shake his hand.<br /><br />&ldquo;I am, and I would guess that you are Mrs. Shanoa?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He asked, taking her hand and shaking it a little surprised.<br /><br />&ldquo;I am.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said smiling, &ldquo;I&rsquo;m sorry I&rsquo;m not dressed more for business.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;It&rsquo;s ok.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said stepping back and opening the door, &ldquo;let&#039;s step into my office and we will get everything done.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The hog said leading the catwolf into the building, her boots clicking on the floor as she was lead to the office.<br /><br />&ldquo;Don&rsquo;t worry, I&rsquo;m a doctor and all that, I just have a wild streak&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; That and my bike needed a little riding.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said as they got to the office, &ldquo;and don&rsquo;t you mean my office.&rdquo;<br /><br />The hog laughed a little as he sat down behind the desk, Shanoa sitting down across from him.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; You know, I like you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said leaning in a little, interlacing his fingers, he might have been an imposing person, if Shanoa wasn&rsquo;t used to this kind of thing.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well you know&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; If you like me and all, you could give me a discount.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said with a little snicker.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; But anyway&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Let&rsquo;s get down to it.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said leaning in.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; You know my intentions, I&rsquo;m sure that you know that I have the money.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said reaching into her bag and pulling out an envelope.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; This has the first month&rsquo;s lease.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said setting the envelope down on the desk and sliding it over to him.<br /><br />&ldquo;Are you sure that you&rsquo;re not a businesswoman?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He asked as he took the envelope and opened it, looking over the check.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I&rsquo;m sure that you know that you will have to wait till the check clears&hellip;.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said folding it and tucking it into his shirt pocket.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;Oh I know it works, but I also know my benefactor, and I know that they have the money to cover this.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said leaning back in her chair, &ldquo;so I guess that I will be back here in three days?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Well that&rsquo;s good to know that you have a benefactor already.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said smiling a bit, &ldquo;well I feel like I could go ahead and talk to you about the rules.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The hog said taking a deep breath.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I&rsquo;m sure that you know that there will be rules to leasing this place, and don&rsquo;t worry, I&rsquo;m a man of simplicities&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Or do I even need to go over the rules with you?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;I read through the agreement and all that, I&rsquo;m not one of those people that just signs things.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said smiling, &ldquo;so it looks like everything is in order until the check clears.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said getting up and holding out her hand.<br /><br />&ldquo;That sounds fine to me.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said taking her paw and giving it a shake, &ldquo;I will see you the twenty-eighth.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;You got it&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; And I expect my office to be clean when I come back.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said with a little snicker as she turned and walked out, back to her bike before getting ready and heading off.<br /><br />-------------------------------------------<br /><br />The catwolf was a little lost in driving, trying to remember the street that she need to turn onto, hoping that she was on the right street to start with.&nbsp;&nbsp; She might have been driving a little faster than she should have.&nbsp;&nbsp; This was confirmed when she saw the flashing blue lights behind her, causing her to pull off to the side of the road as the cop car came to a stop behind her. She cut the engine and let out a little huff as she pulled her helmet off and hung it on one of the handle bars, glancing back at the approaching officer.<br /><br />&ldquo;Licence, registration and insurance, please,&rdquo; a bobcat said as he approached. He was likely in his mid twenties, and somewhat lightly dressed for the cold weather.<br /><br />&ldquo;Watashi wa sore o shinakatta.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She muttered as she pulled her backpack from her shoulder and dug through a small pocket, pulling out the requested documents and offering them to the bobcat.<br /><br />As he glanced over the items he asked the all too often recited, &ldquo;Do you know why I pulled you over, ma&rsquo;am?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Amarini mo kawaī.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said with a little snicker before looking up to the officer.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I didn&rsquo;t think that I was doing anything wrong,&rdquo; she said with a little shrug.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Maybe a little speeding&hellip;&rdquo;<br /><br />As if ignoring what her comments he responded, &ldquo; With the weather, and the fact that you are riding a motorcycle, you&rsquo;re mildly excessive speed could have had&nbsp;&nbsp;worse consequences than a simple speeding ticket. Please wait here.&rdquo; her turned back to his cruiser with her documentation in paw.<br /><br />&nbsp;&ldquo;I wasn&rsquo;t going that fast.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She muttered as she watc<br />hed him walking off in one of her mirrors. &ldquo;Dikku&hellip;.&nbsp;&nbsp;Well I have another story to tell Anna.&rdquo;<br />As he returned she could hear me talking into the radio clicked to his shoulder, &ldquo; This is Officer Goodmen, I&rsquo;ve got the The DRH call, is it something new or just another call?&rdquo; A fuzzy female voice&nbsp;&nbsp;on the radio said, &ldquo;can you get me some of those muffins while you&rsquo;re there?&rdquo; followed by an other. &ldquo;Keep the radio chatter down.&rdquo; The bobcat shook his head with a little smile on his mizzle, &ldquo;Okay ma&rsquo;am, I&rsquo;m just going to give you a warning this time. You might want to slow things down a little. We&rsquo;ve had a few black ice incidents with winter.&rdquo; he started to hand her papers back as he asked, &ldquo;you wouldn&rsquo;t happen to know Miss Hawkins would you?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Not off the top of my head&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Me and my wife just moved here today.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said as she started putting her papers back into the little pocket on her bag.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Should I know them?&nbsp;&nbsp; Are they rich old farts with nice cars or something?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;No, nothing like that,&rdquo; he said, &ldquo; you quick japanese quips just reminded me of her a bit. Especially the &lsquo;I didn&rsquo;t do it&rsquo; thing. She usually goes with german, russian or french though.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Hmmmm.&nbsp;&nbsp;If she knows that many languages, I might look her&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Does she have a criminal record?&nbsp;&nbsp;I don&rsquo;t think that my wife would let me hire anyone with a record.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The catwolf said with a little snicker.<br /><br />With a bit of a snicker, almost as if at some inside joke, he said, &ldquo; You&rsquo;ll find out who is he soon enough if you watch the news at all. Have a nice day.&rdquo; He nodded and turned back to his car.<br />&ldquo;Well she sounds like my kind of people.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The hybrid said as she picked up her helmet, watching the officer walking off.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Or at least fun to drink with.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said as she slipped her helmet on, cranking up the bike and revving it a few times out of habit, before heading off down the road, this time paying a little more attention to the speed as she headed off to her next appointment.<br /><br />Shanoa had ended up cutting it a little close with making her appointment with the insurance rep, not because of the cop pulling her over, but more for the fact that she had thought far enough ahead to memorize the route to the place.&nbsp;&nbsp; After a stop and a quick look on her phone she had found the place.&nbsp;&nbsp;Pulling into a parking spot she cut the engine and pulled her helmet off, putting down the kickstand before getting off and heading into the building.<br /><br />Stepping into the building, she looked around a little as she headed over to the receptionist&#039;s desk.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Appointment for Kiyomizu.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said as she watched the canine looking through a list.<br /><br />&ldquo;I will let Miss Porter know that you&rsquo;re here.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said motioning to a set of chairs being her.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; Please have a seat.&rdquo;<br /><br />Un-shouldering her bag as she slouched in one of the chairs, pulling out her phone and looking at it, seeing that she had a message from Anna, letting her know that her and Curio had made it home from getting stuff to stock the fridge and cabinets.&nbsp;&nbsp; She typed out a quick reply and a I love you to them before looking up in time to see a king charles spaniel in a suit nodding to her.<br /><br />&ldquo;You must be Mrs. Shanoa.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said holding out a fluffy paw. &ldquo;I&rsquo;m Hermione.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;I am.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The catwolf said standing up and taking the canine&rsquo;s hand and giving it a shake.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; It&rsquo;s nice to meet you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said as the two started walking back to the canine&rsquo;s office.<br /><br />&ldquo;So you need some coverage for a clinic that you&rsquo;re opening.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said as she walked around her desk and took a seat as Shanoa took a seat as well.<br /><br />&ldquo;Yes ma&rsquo;am.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said leaning in a little.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I practically have the building, just waiting on the check to clear for that one.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Sounds like someone has all of their ducks in a row.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The canine said with a little snicker.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Well I&rsquo;m sure that you went over the paperwork and stuff that I sent you, is there anything that you want to ask?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Well, the one thing, I know that the premiums will go up after the first year.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said, watching her nod a little, the catwolf having picked up a few things from working with the doctors from Jonestown.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; And two questions.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said reaching for her bag, and pulling it onto her lap.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; This policy has a consent to settlement provision in it right?&nbsp;&nbsp; And does the policy come with Tail coverage, or is that something that I have to get added on?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;It looks like you have looked into all of this, which, that&rsquo;s a good thing.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Hermione said with a little nod as she pulled out a folder.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; There is a consent to settlement provision in the policy, you don&rsquo;t have to worry about doing anything without asking or talking to you.&nbsp;&nbsp; One of the things that we pride ourselves on is communication with our customers.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said opening the folder, showing off the page with the mentioned provision and info.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; And as for the Tail coverage, that is included with your chosen policy.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Well that handles everything that I need to know.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said reaching into her bag, pulling out a little a little envelope.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; This would be for you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said pulling out the check, &ldquo;so what do I need to sign?&rdquo;<br /><br />The dog let out a little snicker, &ldquo;you know&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; You&rsquo;re right to the point, I like that.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said flipping through the folder, opening it to a page, marking places that she needed signatures or initials.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well I have been doing things like this for a while, hanging out with doctors like I did back home, you pick up a few things.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said leaning in and starting to sign the papers.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; That and my dad taught me a few things about business...and a wife with a business degree.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said as she kept signing the different places that was marked on the paper.<br /><br />&ldquo;I take it that your wife is going to be helping out around the place.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The insurance agent asked as Shanoa finished up signing the papers.<br /><br />&ldquo;She&rsquo;s going to be handing all of the HR and things like that, I&rsquo;m just going to be handling the patients, and finding other people to take up office space.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said with a little snicker as she pulled out the check and signed it.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; This would be for you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said handing over the check.<br /><br />&ldquo;Thank you Mrs. Shanoa.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said taking the check and slipping it into the folder before closing it and holding her hand out.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; It&rsquo;s been good meeting you, and I look forward to working with you.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Thank you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The catwolf said as she got up, taking the offered hand and giving it a good shake.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Hopefully it won&#039;t be too much work that I give you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said with a little snicker as she shouldered her bag and turned to head out.<br /><br />Once she was outside of the building, she pulled out her phone, looking at it, seeing a message from Chloe.&nbsp;&nbsp; She snickered a little as she read it, it was something from the whole group, wishing her luck and what not.&nbsp;&nbsp; She typed out a response, letting them know how things were going before getting onto her bike and putting on her helmet.&nbsp;&nbsp;Starting and revving it before pulling out of the parking lot.<br /><br />With all of that done, that took care of the biggest part of her list, the only things that were left were to wait till the check cleared, but she knew that it would.&nbsp;&nbsp; She thought that it might be a good idea to go see the mayor, maybe even find this Hawkens person.&nbsp;&nbsp; All of that could wait for a little, right now, she wanted to get home to see her wife and daughter, and get some lunch in there somewhere.<br /><br />----------------------------------------<br /><br /><div class='align_center'><strong>Fri. Feb. 28th 2014</strong></div><br /><br />Friday rolled around pretty quickly, the family had spend the few days before getting the things in the new place set up, cleaned up and good to go, and then a good bit of time looking around the town, visiting some of the different stores and parks that they found.&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa had finally thought of a name for the clinic, even her, Anna and Curio had started making up a few flyer designs.&nbsp;&nbsp; Now that it was Friday, Shanoa had a few things added to her list.&nbsp;&nbsp;First thing was first, she was off to see the guy that she was now leasing the place after getting a call from him letting her know that the check had cleared.<br /><br />Pulling in and parking in one of the spots, her, Anna and Curio got out of the car and started for the building that she would be now working out of and running.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Wow, this place is nice.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna said as they walked up to the door, Shanoa pulling it open for them.<br /><br />&ldquo;I have a good eye.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The catwolf said with a little snicker.<br /><br />&ldquo;Mrs. Shanoa.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;A male&rsquo;s voice called, &ldquo;it&rsquo;s nice to see you again.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The male hog said walking up to her.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;It&#039;s a pleasure to meet your wife and daughter as well.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said turning to them and giving them a little nod.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; Why don&rsquo;t you two take a look around, that way you don&rsquo;t have to get bored with all the business talk.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said as him and Shanoa made for the office, leaving Anna and Curio to look around.<br /><br />&ldquo;Hey, you cleaned my office.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said with a little snicker as they walked into the office, she took a seat in front of the desk, letting him have one more turn sitting behind her desk.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well I am a man of my word.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said reaching into a briefcase, and pulling out a folder.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; This place isn&rsquo;t yours just yet.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said opening the folder, &ldquo;I just need you to sign some things.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The hog said sliding her the folder and a pen.<br /><br />&ldquo;I feel like about all that I have done since I got here is paperwork.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said shaking her head a little as she went about reading over the pages and signing things.<br /><br />&ldquo;So if I may ask, have you come up with a name?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The male asked as he leaned back in his chair, watching the catwolf signing things, before she glanced up at him.<br /><br />&ldquo;I have, I thought that Kiyomizu Medical Offices might be a little of a muzzle full, so I&rsquo;m going with Open Paws Medical.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said with a little smile, looking up as she finished signing the papers.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Well I do believe I am now officially leasing this place.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said pushing the folder and pen back to him.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; It&rsquo;s been a pleasure working with you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said holding out her paw.<br /><br />&ldquo;It&rsquo;s been a pleasure working with you too, I look forward to working with you more.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said taking her paw and giving it a shake, &ldquo;I&rsquo;m sure that you have some things that you need to get moved in and changed around in your office.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said getting up and walking over to the door.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; And if you need anything, don&rsquo;t hesitate to get in touch with me.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said before reaching into his pocket.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; And I&rsquo;m sure that you will need these.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said handing over a ring of keys to her.<br /><br />&ldquo;Thank you.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said as she took the keys and the hog left.&nbsp;&nbsp; She smiled as she walked around and took a seat at her desk.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; It&rsquo;s happened.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said with a happy sigh, &ldquo;thank you Chloe.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said as she sat at the desk, smiling growing as Anna and Curio walked into the room.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /><br />&ldquo;This place is nice.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Anna said as she walked in, looking around the office, &ldquo;though this place doesn&rsquo;t look like a twister hit it.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said looking around the office that was practically empty.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well that part takes a few days or so to get to.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said with a little snicker, &ldquo;though I&rsquo;m going to try and keep it clean.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said getting up, &ldquo;come on, lets go get my stuff.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said as the group started heading back to the car to start grabbing the few boxes and bags of things that Shanoa had gotten to stock her office.<br /><br />It took one or two trips to get everything into the office and just about an hour or so to get things opened and put away.&nbsp;&nbsp;A nice new computer to take up part of her desk, folders, papers, a printer and a few other things to round it out, even topping things off with a photo of the family and a photo of the group from back home.&nbsp;&nbsp;Once all of that was done, Anna and Curio took Shanoa on a little tour, showing off the office as they found it, Curio even saying something about helping out behind the receptionist&#039;s desk.<br /><br />There was just one thing left to do.&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa had set up an appointment for Curio to see a local pediatrician, a clever plot for Shanoa to meet and hopefully steal one of the local docs.&nbsp;&nbsp; After dropping Anna off at the house her and Curio made their way to the UNHM building, snagging a spot close to the door before getting out and heading in were Shanoa got them signed in, and then the waiting game started.<br /><br />&ldquo;Kiyomizu&hellip;.I think.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;A voice called out, a female feline poking her head into the waiting room.<br /><br />&ldquo;You got it right.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said as she and Curio got up and walked over to her, the nurse leading them to one of the exaimination rooms were the little bat hopped up on the paper lined bed.<br /><br />&ldquo;Dr. Tomlinson will be with you in just a few moments.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The feline said before slipping out of the room.&nbsp;&nbsp; It wasn&rsquo;t too long after that, that an older male marmoset poked his head into the room before stepping in.<br /><br />&ldquo;You must be Ms. Kiyomizu.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said walking over to the catwolf, holding out his paw.<br /><br />&ldquo;Shanoa is fine.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said taking his paw and giving it a shake before watching him turning to the younger bat.<br /><br />&ldquo;And this lovely lass must be Curio.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said walking over to her and shaking her hand as well.<br /><br />&ldquo;So Doc.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said as she watched the pediatrician going about the check up.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Ever think of working somewhere else?&nbsp;&nbsp;A nice private office&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;Like mine?&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Are you trying to steal me ma&rsquo;am?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He asked cutting the hybrid a look before going back to working.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well yes.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said with a little shrug.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; You see, I have a little private office that I opened here and well it&rsquo;s kinda on the big side, and I&rsquo;m sure I could use a few more people there.&nbsp;&nbsp;I mean I&rsquo;m pretty sure and full of myself, but once I get a little further along in the pregnancy, I&rsquo;m going to need another pediatrician there.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;I think that I&rsquo;m going to have to pass.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said letting out a little sigh as he scribbled something down and then turned to the catwolf.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I&rsquo;m getting old.&nbsp;&nbsp; It&rsquo;s about time for me to slow down and take things easy, not embark on a brand new endeavor.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said with a little shrug.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well I guess that you don&rsquo;t want to work part time, making your own schedule, own office, all of that&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp;I guess being a walmart greeter could be fun.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said with a little shrug of her own.<br /><br />The marmoset was silent for a moment, looking at the hybrid.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Well when you put it like that.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said smiling a little, &ldquo;you sure that your a pediatrician and not a businesswoman?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He asked with a little laugh as he kept filling out some papers.<br /><br />&ldquo;I&rsquo;m sure, the wife is the businesswoman&hellip;.Though, having a businessman for a father, you pick up a few things pretty quick.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said as she watched him closing the folder.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; So I take it I will see you in your new office in about two weeks?&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She asked with a smile as she got up.<br /><br />&ldquo;Yes ma&rsquo;am.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said taking her paw and shaking it again.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I want a nice office, one with a view and a little putting green.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said joking.<br /><br />&ldquo;Good to have you aboard, and I would be careful what you wish for.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said poking her tongue out a little before the two shared a laugh.<br /><br />&ldquo;Well I have done all that I need here.&nbsp;&nbsp;A nurse will be in, in a moment to draw some blood, and then you two can be on your way, I&rsquo;m sure your wife is cooking you two a nice dinner.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; He said before giving the two a little wave and slipping out of the room.<br /><br />&ldquo;Momma, I don&rsquo;t think that I needed a check up.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Curio&rsquo;s tablet spoke up, causing the hybrid to smile a little.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;I think that you were just using me as bait&hellip;.and I think that I need an advance on my allowance&hellip;.or a little extra.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Ok...I would say that you have been around dad to much, but I&rsquo;m pretty sure that&rsquo;s Anna&rsquo;s doing.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said looking over to the bat.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; And no, I wasn&rsquo;t just using you as bait&hellip;&nbsp;&nbsp; It was getting time for your check up, so I decided to kill two birds with one stone.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She paused a moment, &ldquo;Don&rsquo;t tell your mother&hellip;.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said slipping her daughter a couple of twenties.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; You know, your granddad would be proud.&rdquo;<br /><br />&ldquo;Maybe I can get him to tell me how to get you to really raise my allowance.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said smiling and poking her tongue out a little.<br /><br />&ldquo;I&rsquo;m sure that we can work something out.&nbsp;&nbsp;Like I said, if you help out around the office, I&rsquo;m sure that we can give you a bigger allowance.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;Shanoa said, a knocking drawing their attention to the door as the nurse stepped in.<br /><br />&ldquo;Hello sweetie.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; The female feline said as she sat the little basket down on the bed by Curio.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; This might hurt a little.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said as she started setting up to draw some blood.&nbsp;&nbsp; For all the blood, truman and other gross and horrible things that she had seen, there was something about seeing her daughter having blood work done that squicked the mother catwolf out, causing her to glance around the room a little as the nurse worked.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo;Ok, all done.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said gathering up her things.&nbsp;&nbsp;&ldquo; If you two head on out, and stop at the front desk, they can get you scheduled for results and anything else that you need.&rdquo;&nbsp;&nbsp; She said before slipping out of the room.<br /><br />Once she was gone, Shanoa and Curio made their way to the front of the office, stopping at the desk, getting everything set up, letting the receptionist know where to send the results and even setting up Curio&rsquo;s next check up, before they left, heading back home and to the dinner that Anna was working, that and most likely a few movies together.<br /></span>",
