\n\t\t\t\t\tVareoth finished in Prismacolor® colored pencils.I thought I would make a few doodles before I tentatively decide to close shop as QM here (around the time I paid attention to a character like this one that convinces me enough that there is still hope and that somehow the creative soul has risen from the abyss, for another chance stands probable that says I can take charge, meanwhile I operate on another account here... guess what that username is ;-3 ); somehow the glance upon this character had broken my sulking completely and to anew, sort of in an epiphanic manner, conclusively to the custom that I can still operate here, the shop intact.
I got around to doing a set of sketches, in a few 8.5X14 sheets of a bulk I still have stored in one drawer, of a fox in various action poses in one sheet, until in another I tended to draw out these extremes, another sheet over that one for clean-up and over which to color.
For this relationship of the drawings, the corsac vixen sniffs out in curiousity what is expanding or blowing up inside (a bubble of some sort) and jumps up in surprise upon a humongous pop. Or, if concerning just nature, she's gazing at what is drilling undergroung and a gopher pop out of the ground like a bullet.
To provide self-critique, there are some details in one extreme or two that I missed, and throughout the set, I must have missed the dorsal markings. :/ I did make the expressions as fairly as I needed to exaggerate the features, spot on, I would say, although on the fifth extreme, I went beyond that standard; the arc movement I suggested well. The spatial relationship of the limbs on ground I managed fairly well, though as usual the body was tricky; on the sixth extreme, the neck I drew too long or the head I placed awkwardly, when I anticipated variety of facial angling. What do you think?
