In this version, she gets bored at the castle from reading about a history assignment on dwarf villages, leaving out the window and riding on her horse to what she remembers hearing about a dwarf village somewhere in the woods that she hasn't visited and goes to see how it's like, rather than read about it. At the gate entrance, she is greeted by a small man named Stephen with a pumpkin idol, letting her know that the rules of the dwarf village state that the Chief Elder strictly declares that strangers arriving here are required to undergo a test/physical exam before they are allowed to enter the village....for the safety of its citizens, after decades of mistrust from outside strangers forced them to take action to prevent terrible catastrophes from happening again. Ashling reluctantly accepts, following Stephen into a medical cottage where the other dwarf doctors practice and study medicines, tonics, ointments, and the living body, heart mostly. Ashling has been a good patient with Stephen so far, even giving him advice on what he can do to help make his job easier when it comes to tall patients that he thanks her for. After running the first couple of medical tests, the last one is for Ashling to sit up straight and lower her undershirt so that Stephen can have easier access to use the stethoscope to listen and study her heartbeat rhythm, discovering it to be loud, fast, and thunderous as if there were a tiny jungle gorilla banging with all his might on a bongo that never stops sending warrior signals, believing her bongo ticker to be big and healthy that it connects to her feelings of happiness, satisfaction, pleasure, excitement, love, and joy. In a short while, they run out of time to finish the rest since Ashling has no choice but to get back home before anyone gets worried enough to find out where she's been and can't keep her horse waiting too long either, now having help from Stephen to arrange for the next appointment, not minding that there are other things to complete before she enters the dwarf village.",
