"description": "Sometimes, I just can't stop making baby pictures of fictional characters I love, even when being curious about what they looked like as infants, especially antagonist characters who were once young and innocent themselves before becoming what they are now. What fans wouldn't want to know about someone's past life or make theories of everything that sometimes creators don't tell you?\n\nAnyways, after Boothill's mother gets the supplies needed from the mercantile, a rude drunk bumps into her, knocking some of the supplies down and almost causing her to drop Boothill, which scares and startles him so bad that he starts to cry. Angered, his mother demands an apology from the one that shoved her like that and almost hurt her son. It turns out that the drunk is one of those folks who are not the accepting type to those who are \"different\", not even if that race is the kind that is feared and hated due to their former scavenger instincts that some refuse to overlook and welcome with open arms, which is how it was for colored people back in the old days (I just watched enough Zootopia and Beastars to know that there exists prejudice and racism between predator and prey, so since this show takes place in the wild west, there is no doubt that racism was happening offscreen somewhere). Regardless of how some species of animals started before the fall of the comet that changed everything, some just want to live descent, honest lives like everyone else, even when times are hard. Tensions rise when the drunk throws insults at Boothill's mother for her kind to go back to the desert and start \"bone picking\", not even caring how his loud voice and hostility is making the baby cry from what's happening. This only angers his mother more as she calls the drunk out on what a monster he is for scaring her son like this with his unacceptable, bigoted attitude that make society a bad place for folks who want nothing more than to live normal lives and be accepted, regardless of how they are born. Before the argument can get any worse and attract attention from anyone passing by, the same man who owns the mercantile shop is able to put a stop to it and chase off the drunk, coming to her aid and helping to pick up the fallen items. With whatever dignity she has, Boothill's mother thanks the mercantile and pays no attention to any civilians that may still be having their eyes on her, even trying to keep herself from showing any tears since it is bad enough that her son is still crying and holds him securely so he doesn't fall on the way home. Now if only she can keep her husband from finding out what happened, unless the rumor has already spread from one person to another and someone might have told him, which worries her on how he will take it when he comes home.",
