I’ll be frank, I haven’t felt like writing stories for a while. So instead of trying to plan out plot and characters, Imma just wrote out this idea I’ve had for a while in a sort of informal world building kind of way. I’ll probably write something out once I’m feeling better.

The setting is set on an alternate version of the world of LoZ, that focuses more on the events in BotW and TotK over the other games. In this timeline, the zonai are still around beyond just Rauru and Mineru. The zonai helped establish peace between the other races of Hyrule and even helped the Sheikah develop their technology, so now both ancient civilizations exist at the same time. While they are often still revered as godlike beings, they don’t lord over the Hylians and instead coexist. Also, neither version of Ganon is here, so they didn’t develop weapons like the Guardians or the Divine Beasts.

As for the zonai themselves, they’re pretty peaceful. Without any need for conflict, they spend most of their time enjoying life or learning how to better themselves through study, science, and magic. The secret stones they use are more prevalent and can be manufactured, but are still rare and usually kept in families. The way they work is that they can only be bonded to one person at a time, usually until the user dies. And while they can be used as an energy source, their more practical use is to amplify a person’s innate abilities. Anyone can use one so long as they have a little bit of magic.

Everything was great until giant ships blotted out the sky as an army of alien invaders, which are essentially a sci-fi version of fantasy orcs (think Warhammer) came down and began spreading fear and destruction. Oddly enough however, they didn’t kill a lot of zonai, instead preferring to capture them alive. Sure, they had big space lasers and they did use them initially, but they rarely harmed anyone, especially children. You can probably guess why, but I’ll explain it more later. As for the other races of Hyrule, they aren’t the focus of my story so you can basically pretend they don’t exist anymore. Or not, maybe they are also being enslaved.

Now before I explain what happens to the zonai after they’re all captured, I have to explain the orcs a little. Essentially, they basically like us humans aside from being tall, green, and having tusks. For one reason or another, their home planet became uninhabitable, so they quickly advanced their science over the last few years on it and blasted off into space. They are more sci-fi focused, so they have technology like advanced genetic modification, cloning, lightspeed travel, and strong enough weapons for them to fight off anyone they encounter. For some other vague reason, they eventually found Hyrule and decided to invade, maybe to harvest their magic idk.

A bit about orc biology is that they are mostly born male (for my personal preference) and can breed with each other regardless through either cloning or modding their bodies for mpreg. And in their culture, any other intelligent race that isn’t hostile is a pet, essentially a cross between being their adopted child and sex slave. Maybe they enslaved another few races before visiting Hyrule, but it doesn’t matter. They make sure to treat their pets well, giving them love and proper care, even educating them and genetically modding them to live longer and be healthier. The only downside is that you are perpetually babied and you are used as a sex doll whenever your owner feels like it. For this reason, they value children more as pets and will even go as far as to de-age their pet and occasionally brainwashing them to be more mentally/emotionally stunted. 

And so, when they encountered the zonai, they instantly found them adorable and decided to keep them as their pets. They also found their secret stones to be especially useful batteries and while they themselves can’t use magic, they figured out a way to essentially steal a zonai’s power through their stone. Fun fact, orcs mostly wear these latex/synthetic sci-fi suits that have a neat feature of being able to carry pets spread out across their chest (look up belly riding/fanny packing for a better idea), which is mainly for displaying their pets but comes with the added bonus of being able to fuck them on the go. Otherwise, a pet will be nude except for a collar and leash and follow their owners around, either on all fours or on two depending on the owner. That or they are just carried in their owner’s arms or in a pet carrier.
