Spetsies are designed as hyperaware reconnaissance assets to complement the Republic's aggressive recon doctrine. These cybernetic latex foxes serve as lethal spotters, infiltrators, and [i]sensual[/i] companions for scout teams, Calarasi FORECON units, and sniper detachments.\n The F.O.X. is engineered for obedience. Their restructured anatomies allow them to operate in the harsh conditions of the Boreal Expanse. They have augmented, repurposed, rubber-lined bellies function as ammunition reserves, while integrated SOFLAM targeting systems and encrypted radios ensure rapid coordination with artillery liasons. They are capable of laser-designating enemy positions and transform any engagement into an orchestra of fire.\n Originally they were conceived for forward reconnaissance. However, the sheer number of volunteers (and less willing candidates ;3) has expanded their role. Now, they also prowl the tunnels of the underground prison warrens, guard sensitive installations, and stalk behind enemy lines. The fox does not ponder mortality-- it hunts! It burrows. It surrenders its breath to the earth and lets winter sculpt its bones into a tool.
