Hear Thou!
By this proclamation it so decreed that:
-The Dread Curse of Rot hath come again upon our Faire Kingdom-
-That the Throne does Suffer and as it Suffereth, so Suffereth The Land-
-That as twas ever in ages past, the only lifting of this Doleful Rot is the Rite of the Great Game-
-That which those with Virtue and Courage and Cunning, shall one win through to the Throne and dispel the Curse of Rot-
-Therefore by this Decree the Rite of Great Game is Once More to be Open!-
The reward shall be Honor and Wealth unto the victor’s whole Clan, if they be known.
As ever, our Council Of Law does enjoin us to issue this Direst Caution: that though the Rite affordeth an opportunity to seize the Throne itself, such Hubris shall but perpetuate the Curse of Rot and bring it upon Thee in Turn. Surely, it is by the Untemper’d Daring of many to seize so that the Kingdom laboreth under the Rot once more! This Kingdom shall be neither Responsible nor Recompensable to those who fail this last and most crucial test of the Rite of the Great Game. Moreover, One ought Not to Put Oneself Forward for the Rite without the Consultation and Council of thy Doctor of Physik and Chiurgery.
In Supplement! Let it be also decreed that:
Owing to the Many Years in which the Rite of the Great Game hath called to Brave and Honorable souls, and owing to the Smallness though thereby no less Preciousness of the Sphere upon which our fair Kingdom sits, those Clans entitled by Birth and Blood to send a Champion have found their ranks much reduced. Therefore, we have decreed that Mercenary and Foriegn champions, if their Honor be Unquestioned and their Bravery True, may be delegated by clans to join them upon the field!
Also let it be decreed that all shall be enjoined to Like, and to Comment, and to Subscribe to the broadcasts of the Rite of the Great Game, and do Smite upon that suchlike Bell, and that none shall forget to recommend our fine merchandise, Emblazoned with the Most Noble Crest of this Kingdom and of the Noble Clans in Competition, which can verily be purchased online, to all those who view these Noble Proceedings!
