Other programs like Gimp and Photoshop are too feature-rich for me. Maybe I'm dumb but I can't just get in there and draw. The learning curve is too great, so I kept with MS Paint. Like a damn pro.\n\nSo fire alpaca works for me, still learning the program. There's some things that aren't quite intuitive to me.But it hasn't crashed yet, so there's that!\n\nAs thanks I told Tallan that I wanted to draw him a picture. He said, \"here's my ref sheet, you have complete artistic freedom\". On said ref, I noticed that among his likes was Pizza Biking. So I thought, what happens when you're out Pizza Biking and you start leaking mozzarella from your stuffed crust? You'd have to get a spare, can't exactly patch it.\n\ndoodles ensued.\n\nfollowed by layers and more doodling. and then line clean up and more doodling. etc.\n\nthis is the longest I've ever worked on an image. traditional or digital. across several days I committed a few minutes here or an hour or two of meticulous cleanup there. I usually have to get things done in one session or I feel like giving up on it.\n\nAlso, this is the largest piece I've made. It started as 12,000 x 12,000 pixels and as it got worked on it got chipped down to finally being 7000 x 6000. I exported it at 3500 X 3000.
