Ordinarily this would be a death sentence for a living multi-cellular creature, but something about their demonic nature binds their flesh together in a mutable form that quickly adapts and acclimates to suit whichever environment it finds itself in. Once it begins to rapidly grow, the DNA gets bound up and restored back to a more traditional state, mutations mostly ceasing from here.\n\nHowever, this adaptive state coupled with their insatiable lusts and ability to reproduce with nearly any species they come in contact with, enables them to rapidly overwhelm foreign environments with sheer numbers, let alone their unique adaptations that cause them to spread even faster and more aggressively. Thankfully they are mostly captured or culled on the surface before they can spread, but in their native dimension they are commonly found as both pets and wild beasts across almost all of hell.
