"description": "A special thanks to Danger Doberman https://inkbunny.net/DangerDoberman for doing the reference sheet image for me, I really really love it.\n\nThe Unkillable Rabbit!\nActually it is just as easy to kill this rabbit as it is any other rabbit. It is just a lot harder to keep him dead. Due to extensive testing by a corrupt corporation by the name of Dynamic Industries, also responsible for the nanite outbreak in the city of New Joy and the fall of the human race, Lupe, a former National Guard Depot Driver, has been tortured, experimented on, and cursed. Dynamic Industries never put all of their eggs in one basket and in addition to using nanites to turn the young man into a three and a half foot tall rabbit man with extensive healing properties, they decided to send him to the division that studied the occult. At that facility, he was once again experimented on, only this time it was in the project attempting to imbue eternal life into a foot soldier, but also make it so that if needed, he could be stopped if he were to go rogue, he would no longer be immortal. Of course, Once the nanites got unleashed upon the city, many of the head scientists fled to what they thought was the safety of a bunker, and a low level scientist was tasked with destroying the specimens. Unbeknownst to him, the final experiment on Lupe had actually somewhat succeeded and the killswitch that he activated to go off in twelve hours and promptly went home to be with his wife and kids. The problem with mixing science and black magic is that they don't always work together. Yes, the killswitch in Lupe worked, yes, he died.... then he appeared a few feet away perfectly intact while he watched his own corpse crunch and dissolve into the original components of the spell, The skull of a deceased and three bars of gold. Another problem is that the killswitch returns with him and every day at noon and midnight, he dies and comes back.\n\nOkay, A lot of people have been asking me why Lupe is considered a bad ass. Like I mentioned before, they mixed science with that magic. His legs are heavily modified to be able to destroy nearly any obstacle in a two footed kick, The most that he's been recorded doing is kicking through three feet of reinforced steel plating. Now a note, due to the delicate structure of his legs, the scientists were forced to come up with something to prevent him from shattering his legs every time he kicks something too solid. What they came up with was a pair of boots made from heavy duty leather, metal plates up the front and small tenderizing plates under a thin layer of rubber on the soles, not much to look at, but what matters is on the inside. Inside are a series of recoil absorbing repulsing fields (Force Fields) that replace the padding inside the boot and make them able to absorb all of the power of the kick coming back, leaving him able to kick harder without breaking his bones to little shards.\n\nA more in depth explanation is that it was Ancient Greek magic, which called out to Tartarus (The place/titan, located near the entrance to the underworld) and forced him to accept the rabbit as a monster. When killed, monsters' consciousness transfers down into Tartarus and into a pustule like pod where the creature then reforms. Depending on the size and power of the monster, it can take just a few seconds or eons for the creature inside to finish forming. Luckily for Lupe, it is near instantaneous reformation. Now, normally, a monster will have to work its way towards an ever-changing exit, but other monsters, like the minotaur, have a specific place that they are teleported, Like the minotaur always going to the labyrinth. Lupe is one such monster and is teleported to the decorative skull that is left behind from his corpse. Just a note, it takes a very strong being to defy the will of Tartarus and block the teleport, but it has happened once, something the rabbit hopes will never occur again. Without the instant teleport, the lapine was left to find another teleport node to get out, but was badly injured by multiple monsters that figured a three and a half foot tall, nude rabbit would be easy prey. He lost half of his ear that day, and gained a large hole where a horn went through his bicep.... another note, the horn still had part of the skull attached..... Wounds gained in Tartarus do not heal when he respawns and thus explains the scars staying.",
