"writing": "-----------------------------------------------------------C4--------------------------------------------------------------\n\n>''Watch your step.''\n\n>Another passenger, another rescued citizen. \n\n>''That's the last one!''\n\n>Or rather, that was the last one the buses could accommodate.\n\n>The chief had sent the busses along his meticulously planned emergency route, hoping to pick up as many passengers as possible along the way.\n\n>The halfway point was recently passed, and the busses were all filled to capacity.\n\n>Rain had stopped falling from the sky minutes ago, but the clouds were far from leaving.\n\n>The chief and several of the patrons feared that the storm could get it's second wind at any moment, with the near-constant sounds of thunder permeating the sky. \n\n>The man in the labcoat gave the mustachioed driver behind him the thumbs up.\n\n>It was getting more than cramped inside the bus.\n\n>''We're coming up on the park.''\n\n>The bus driver slammed on the brakes.\n\n>The scientist in chief catches himself on the railing and adjusts his glasses.\n\n>''What?!'' he whirls around to look at the driver, who is pointing down the street, mouth agape.\n\n>Stomping its way towards the park, is a massive beast with a bright neon blue mark blazoned across its flank.\n\n>A dangling tail of fiber optic wires with blue tips bob with each completed step, hovering over the street.\n\n>Alien antennae on its head stop bobbing as it turns its head.\n\n>It stops only long enough to lift a steely hoof into the air. \n\n>''Is it... is it waving?''\n\n>The moment passed as the monster resumes its march and plodded over the low fencing that lines the park, eyes narrowed determinedly as it ignored the onlookers in its wake.\n\n>Glancing in the same direction, the chief gasps in horror as another beast appeared from a street across the park.\n\n>Lavender horns curled backwards, a mauve underbelly, and a thick tail were a few of its features.\n\n>In the stunned silence, the chief withdrew a phone from his pocket.\n\n>Hand shaking, he hit the speed dial.\n\n>Meanwhile, back in the lab. \n\n>''Yeah, boss?''\n\n>''I think I found what those two big somethings were.''\n\n>''We did too, it's all over MyFace and Bill from accounting snapped a picture.''\n\n>A pleasant ping came from a smartphone elsewhere in the room.\n\n>''It already has 100 likes!''\n\n>''Yeah, I just fave'd it,'' another assistant piped up from the background.\n\n>The chief cleared his throat.\n\n>''We need that portal generator back up as soon as possible.''\n\n>He turned to the bus driver, showing him a map.\n\n>''We need to get there.''\n\n>''We'd have to go by the park!''\n\n>''It ignored us. Let's go.''\n\n>Not too far from the spot of their first contact, the commander and his unit rumble along one of the less-ruined streets.\n\n>His lieutenant pipes up from a nearby vehicle.\n\n>''Sir, we've intercepted some radio chatter. Seems to originate from this city's bus system.''\n\n>The commander raises an eyebrow. ``Why should I care?''\n\n>''Because it contains good news, and bad news.''\n\n>The commander chuckles a bit.\n\n>''We haven't done this one in a while; what's the good news?''\n\n>''It appears that the bus system has been converted into an evac convoy. It's rounding up civilians as we speak.''\n\n>''That's... impressive, actually.
