"writing": "Sparkle's fingers slowly tucked and clenched, twisting into fists. Angry, shivering, shaking fists, that were caked in dirt and trickled with rage. She should have been terrified, screaming in a mind numbing, soul gripping fear, but all she felt was anger. The creature glaring at her was more than twice her size, more than twice her strength and knew only pain, suffering and violence. It fed off of carnage, bathed in malice, and sought only agony in its existence, and yet, even in the sum of all that had transpired, Sparkle felt little more than hatred at the moment. Plucked from her already miserable existence, she was torn from the warmth of her home and dragged to the very pits of hell itself and for what?! There was no explanation, no angels from some sort of benevolent God to help her, and nobody who seemed even a stone's throw near \"Sane.\" She'd been nearly skewered, raped by spiders, eaten, set on fire, and pitched around like a rag doll, and she didn't even get a shot at the pearly gates! But she knew she didn't survive this long to be ripped apart by some Godzilla reject and if it was the last thing she ever did, she was going to march up to God himself and demand answers. And it probably would be the last thing she ever did, but somewhere, deep in the etching of her soul- she decided she was fine with that.\n\nShe glared at the creature in turn, who looked upon her with a wary set of midnight shaded eyes. It probably had never been in close contact with something that didn't race screaming from it's presence. It examined her, like a cat looking over a cornered mouse. She took a deep breath, steeling herself for what was going to come next, and let her ears splay back on her skull. This was going to be her best performance yet. A show stopper to end all show stoppers.\n\n\"Funny story.\" Sparkle said quietly, staring up at the beast, while slowly, but surely, shrugging off the russet colored swallow tailed jacket she'd been wearing. She let it puddle about her ankles on the floor, and stared at the monster with narrowed eyes, clad now only in her chained pants and a ruby red tank top. \"In the next five minutes, one of us is gonna be dead. Here's the punch line: It's not gonna be me.\" She hissed in tones, smooth as silk. The creature, whom clearly didn't understand what was being said, decided it didn't like it none the less and let loose a roar that shook the foundation of the ruined church. Spark simply closed her eyes and took another breath. Show time.\n\n\"DAZZLE!\" She barked, throwing both her paws into the air towards the critter and shut her eyes. Immediately, from each of her fingertips, came a bright, dazzling light- much like a strobe that exploded in a flash. The creature snarled in anger, blinded by the sudden burst of light and Sparkle launched herself forward like a missile, forcing her legs to carry her under the blinded creature, despite their longing for rest. No, no rest for the wicked, if she was going to live through this encounter, she needed to be vigilant and mobile. She was tackled to the side only half a second later by the coyote that had rescued her before- and in the seconds that followed, a large, spiked leg landed where had been standing. It would have crushed her...\n\n\"And that's twice I've saved you...three if you wanna count that fancy gun play. \"He grinned sharply. Sparkle blinked a moment, laying on top of the canine whom pounced her to save her life. She opened her mouth to respond, but her witty retort was stripped away by a vicious kick to her side by something standing over her.\n\n\"YOU KILLED OUR MASTER!\" A voice bellowed. A rat. One of the few remaining left in the church and one whom seemed to harbor a grudge. Sparkle was nearly beside herself with rage. She didn't even understand it herself, specifically, but she just didn't want to put up with anymore. Didn't want to take anymore. Refused to take anymore. From her position on the ground, her legs still tangled around the coyote's, she lurched forward, grasping her paws at the robes of the rat's leg. He squeaked, certainly unprepared for such an awkward counter attack, and found himself, suddenly in a frightening embrace, Sparkle having clambered to her feet, wrapped both her paws around his head and kissed him full on the lips!! The coyote watched, baffled at first, and the horrified at the reaction. The rat, whom was working feverishly to pry himself from Spark's lavish kiss, slowly stopped moving, and then began twitching like he were possessed. His body writhed and wobbled wildly, while his eyes rolled back in his skull and the color drained from his face. When Spark broke the kiss, she turned her head and hissed out a cool breath of something that resembled smoke...only it wasn't smoke. Smoke simply wafted into the air when it was exhaled. This substance lingered in the atmosphere for a moment, before it seemed to take on a form, colliding together to form a strange, eerie likeness of the rat she'd just kissed. The smokey substance took on a horrified look, and wildly began to reach and grasp at the lifeless body, before it began to float away, dissipating into the air, while the body crumpled about near Sparkle's feet.\n\nThe coyote stared, mouth dropping open at the other coyote's actions, eyes wide at Serena's very sudden, and very...terrifying skill. She's learned something new while down here. Still, he wasn't about to let her get crushed by the creature that was stumbling around blindly. She didn't seem to notice that it had regained it's vision, and had lifted an arm to skewer her through. He moved like lightening, throwing himself towards the coyote, and tackling her- again, from the side, as the arm came down and crushed the rat's body with a considerable geyser of blood.\n\n\"We REALLY must stop meeting like this. \"Serena chuckled sheepishly, laying on the ground, nose to nose with him. He gave a sharp grin, and glanced up at the angry beast, before tugging the female up into his arms, nimbly avoiding it's next attempt to crush them both.\n\n\"But the horrific monsters! The smothering atmosphere! The eternal suffering! What better place for romance?!\" He laughed, and twirled her about, casually as if in the midst of some terrible dance, where a misstep would lead to immediate death. He threw her away from him, connected only by their arms, as the beast tried again, stomping violently, and missing only by inches.\n\n\"I think he wants to cut in. \"Serena quipped softly, while the coyote frowned, letting go of the female, and drawing both his guns.\n\n\"But I'm a terrible dancer!\" He barked, aiming his shots at the creature's side. The bullets seemed to bounce off harmlessly, or disappear all together into the creature's hide. Not effective at all.\n\"Well that's something shy of assuring! Serena, do you think...oh, GOD! SERENA!!!\" The coyote called out in fear, watching helplessly as his girl raced towards the beast. With it's attention on him, she managed to position herself directly underneath it.\n\n\"I'm done with you! ABSOLUTE, ZERO!!\" She snarled. The temperature around them dropped immediately and the creature gave a shriek of what the coyote assumed was something along the line's of pain, confusion, anger, and terror all rolled into one. From the coyote below him, she held her arms up and fired a blast of sheer alabaster into it's stomach and chest, immediately coating it's underside with a thick layer of cracked, frozen suffering. Was she trying to freeze it to death? Impossible, it was too large...\n\n\"THE CHEST!!!\" Sparkle screamed, pointing at the beast above her. \"AIM FOR THE CHE- HELK!\" She cried, before she went sailing, pitched through the air by the beast's claw. She slammed furiously into a still standing wall of the church and didn't move, while the coyote narrowed his eyes. With his fingers firmly wrapped around the handle of both his six shooters, he raced forward. His duster billowing behind him, his legs pumping like pistons, he turned his focus on his target. The large, icy chest, attached to the large, angry beast that had moved to finish off the girl it snagged with it's arm. He only had a few seconds- couldn't miss a single shot. He ran. Faster, faster, faster, pumping his body with all he could muster, he slid the moment he found himself underneath the beast. Sliding towards the wall Serena had slammed into, sliding towards the girl he was intent upon rescuing. He slid, eyes narrowed and up, and arms raised, guns aimed at a single spot...He knew what she wanted him to do. Knew what he needed to do- he fired a shot. The ice chipped.\nAnother shot. More ice chipped away, at the same spot. Another shot, another shot, and another shot still. The ice cracked and tumbled to the ground in glittering shards like angel wings. He saw it with the next shot. Firing so many blasts and chipping away at the ice and the chest...the beating, blood red orb that kept the creature moving...he fired another shot, and another to be sure.\n\n\n\"Please wake up....please....you're gonna be ok...\" The coyote begged quietly, tears in his eyes, his paw clenching hers as tightly as possible.\n\"What are you basing that on?\" The wolf asked softly, her eyes still closed, breathing shallow as she lay on her back, dug out from the rubble of the wall, where it landed on her after the creature collapsed.\n\"Veeeery little. But that's how these stories play you, you know. I, the heroic and dashing hero, save the sweet, innocent saloon girl from the jaws of a horrifying monster. \" The coyote beamed, flashing a charming smile. Sparkle rolled her eyes.\n\"The fuck are you talking about? Saloon girl? I'm a bartender. \" She groaned quietly. The coyote frowned.\n\"No...No, honey...you...Serena? Don't you remember? It's me. Ricochet. Gun slinger...remember? Remember, at the saloon. La-la-la, trickles and tickles.? We danced and got drunk and...oh, Serena...you have to remember...what has Hell done to you?\" Ricochet whimpered. Spark frowned quietly, and opened her eyes, sitting up with a groan of pain. Ribs ...bruised if not broken. Wonderful. She looked over quietly, past the sniffling coyote at the large dead body of the monster that was trying to eat her earlier. Five minutes was up. She laughed at her own punch line.\n\n\"First of all. Thank you for saving my life. Secondly, I'm not Serena. My name is Spark. Third, please. Don't be crazy. I've had it up to here with crazy. I'm done with crazy. Fourth, after that fight, I swear to God, if I didn't ding...I'm quitting this game for ever. \" She growled. The coyote just stared. Sparkle sighed.\n\"I need to start hanging out with a younger crowd. They get those jokes. Look, I'm really grateful for your gun play. And that was keen shooting ya did with the rats and all, but I'm ...I'm not...who you think I am.\"She explained. The coyote shook his head sadly, and gripped her paw in his own.\n\n\"You're my wife...I mean, you're Serena and I'm Ricochet, and we were gonna buy the Saloon, and we were gonna...God, we were gonna be happy. We were gonna be so happy, and I had the money...I had the money, and then you ...I...Don't you remember? You're supposed to remember...\" He begged her, tears in his eyes. Sparkle shook her head slowly. Crazy. Everybody down here was crazy.\n\n\"Ricochet. There...there was another...There was another girl here...a coyote. I think...I think you're a little confused, honey. \"Sparkle whispered softly, but the other canine stood up with a snarl, shaking his head.\n\n\"NO! No no no...I've been trying to rescue you for ...for so long...I don't even remember...every day...I prayed...I begged God for help...and...I was supposed to rescue you...and you were supposed to remember everything I'd forgotten...and You HAVE to be Serena! You're just confused...look at your eyes!\" He barked. Spark frowned, but tilted her head curiously to one side.\n\n\"My eyes?\" She asked slowly. Ricochet nodded his head quickly, immediately dropping down to his knees next to her.\n\n\"Yeah. Everybody here...Everybody in hell has these itty bitty, tiny lil pin prick eyes...but your's are great big and green...you HAVE to be my Serena...my darling...my love...\" Ricochet begged. Spark sighed deeply and rested her paws over his and squeezed.\n\n\"Sure why not.\" She groaned. Ricochet's eyes widened.\n\n\"Really?\" He squeaked.\n\n\"NO!\" She snarled, narrowing her eyes. \"For fucks sakes, Ricochet. I'm NOT a coyote, I'm NOT from the 1890s, and I'm NOT Serena. I'm Sparkle. I'm from the 2000s, and I'm a WOLF. WOLF. Not to say we aren't compatible, but you know...cause you're cute...just...I'm not Serena.\" Sparkle explained as clearly as she could. The two stared at each other for a long while, and finally, Richochet let go of her paw.\n\n\"...I ruined it. I intervened...I think. You said you were doing this for a long time, right? Like, trying to rescue...this girl...Serena...But I showed up before you got here...I...I fucked it up by being here, cause I'm not supposed to be here and...now the church is destroyed...everything's gone...I...ruined your punishment...\"Sparkle said slowly, eyes widening, while Ricochet tilted his head, looking at her with a single eye from under his hat.\n\n\"Zat a fact? So I guess my new punishment is that I gotta spend my time with you, huh?\" He grinned. Spark groaned.\n\n\"Hey, I saved your sorry butt, like, four times in the last ten minutes. You think I'm gonna let you walk out of here and get killed by the next demon we see? Sides, I wanna know more about where YOU come from...and how you got your eyes like that...\" The coyote explained. Spark groaned yet again, and dragged herself to her feet, clutching her side with one paw.\n\n\"First of all. My sorry butt saved YOUR ass with my absolute zero spell....I think. Secondly...my...side really hurts...canni go lie down...please...\" She begged, walking quietly over to the spot she left her jacket. The coyote nodded his head, watching her bend over to fetch her clothing. Ok...not so 'sorry' ...",

Here&#039;s the punch line: It&#039;s not gonna be me.&quot; She hissed in tones, smooth as silk. The creature, whom clearly didn&#039;t understand what was being said, decided it didn&#039;t like it none the less and let loose a roar that shook the foundation of the ruined church. Spark simply closed her eyes and took another breath. Show time.<br /><br />&quot;DAZZLE!&quot; She barked, throwing both her paws into the air towards the critter and shut her eyes. It would have crushed her...<br /><br />&quot;And that&#039;s twice I&#039;ve saved you...three if you wanna count that fancy gun play. &quot; He grinned sharply. Sparkle blinked a moment, laying on top of the canine whom pounced her to save her life. She opened her mouth to respond, but her witty retort was stripped away by a vicious kick to her side by something standing over her.<br /><br />&quot;YOU KILLED OUR MASTER!&quot; A voice bellowed. A rat. One of the few remaining left in the church and one whom seemed to harbor a grudge. Sparkle was nearly beside herself with rage. She didn&#039;t even understand it herself, specifically, but she just didn&#039;t want to put up with anymore. Didn&#039;t want to take anymore. Refused to take anymore. From her position on the ground, her legs still tangled around the coyote&#039;s, she lurched forward, grasping her paws at the robes of the rat&#039;s leg. The rat, whom was working feverishly to pry himself from Spark&#039;s lavish kiss, slowly stopped moving, and then began twitching like he were possessed. His body writhed and wobbled wildly, while his eyes rolled back in his skull and the color drained from his face. When Spark broke the kiss, she turned her head and hissed out a cool breath of something that resembled smoke...only it wasn&#039;t smoke. Smoke simply wafted into the air when it was exhaled. This substance lingered in the atmosphere for a moment, before it seemed to take on a form, colliding together to form a strange, eerie likeness of the rat she&#039;d just kissed. The smokey substance took on a horrified look, and wildly began to reach and grasp at the lifeless body, before it began to float away, dissipating into the air, while the body crumpled about near Sparkle&#039;s feet.<br /><br />The coyote stared, mouth dropping open at the other coyote&#039;s actions, eyes wide at Serena&#039;s very sudden, and very...terrifying skill. She&#039;s learned something new while down here. Still, he wasn&#039;t about to let her get crushed by the creature that was stumbling around blindly. She didn&#039;t seem to notice that it had regained it&#039;s vision, and had lifted an arm to skewer her through. He moved like lightening, throwing himself towards the coyote, and tackling her- again, from the side, as the arm came down and crushed the rat&#039;s body with a considerable geyser of blood.<br /><br />&quot;We REALLY must stop meeting like this. &quot;Serena chuckled sheepishly, laying on the ground, nose to nose with him. He gave a sharp grin, and glanced up at the angry beast, before tugging the female up into his arms, nimbly avoiding it&#039;s next attempt to crush them both.<br /><br />&quot;But the horrific monsters! The smothering atmosphere! The eternal suffering! What better place for romance?!&quot; He laughed, and twirled her about, casually as if in the midst of some terrible dance, where a misstep would lead to immediate death. He threw her away from him, connected only by their arms, as the beast tried again, stomping violently, and missing only by inches.<br /><br />&quot;I think he wants to cut in. &quot;Serena quipped softly, while the coyote frowned, letting go of the female, and drawing both his guns.<br /><br />&quot;But I&#039;m a terrible dancer!&quot; He barked, aiming his shots at the creature&#039;s side. The bullets seemed to bounce off harmlessly, or disappear all together into the creature&#039;s hide. Not effective at all.<br />&quot;Well that&#039;s something shy of assuring! Serena, do you think...oh, GOD! SERENA!!!&quot; The coyote called out in fear, watching helplessly as his girl raced towards the beast. With it&#039;s attention on him, she managed to position herself directly underneath it.<br /><br />&quot;I&#039;m done with you! ABSOLUTE, ZERO!!&quot; She snarled. The temperature around them dropped immediately and the creature gave a shriek of what the coyote assumed was something along the line&#039;s of pain, confusion, anger, and terror all rolled into one. From the coyote below him, she held her arms up and fired a blast of sheer alabaster into it&#039;s stomach and chest, immediately coating it&#039;s underside with a thick layer of cracked, frozen suffering. Was she trying to freeze it to death? Impossible, it was too large...<br /><br />&quot;THE CHEST!!!&quot; Sparkle screamed, pointing at the beast above her. &quot;AIM FOR THE CHE- HELK!&quot; She cried, before she went sailing, pitched through the air by the beast&#039;s claw. She slammed furiously into a still standing wall of the church and didn&#039;t move, while the coyote narrowed his eyes. With his fingers firmly wrapped around the handle of both his six shooters, he raced forward. His duster billowing behind him, his legs pumping like pistons, he turned his focus on his target. The large, icy chest, attached to the large, angry beast that had moved to finish off the girl it snagged with it&#039;s arm. He only had a few seconds- couldn&#039;t miss a single shot. The ice chipped.<br />Another shot. More ice chipped away, at the same spot. Another shot, another shot, and another shot still. The ice cracked and tumbled to the ground in glittering shards like angel wings. He saw it with the next shot. Firing so many blasts and chipping away at the ice and the chest...the beating, blood red orb that kept the creature moving...he fired another shot, and another to be sure.<br /><br /><br />&quot;Please wake up....please....you&#039;re gonna be ok...&quot; The coyote begged quietly, tears in his eyes, his paw clenching hers as tightly as possible.<br />&quot;What are you basing that on?&quot; The wolf asked softly, her eyes still closed, breathing shallow as she lay on her back, dug out from the rubble of the wall, where it landed on her after the creature collapsed.<br />&quot;Veeeery little. But that&#039;s how these stories play you, you know. I, the heroic and dashing hero, save the sweet, innocent saloon girl from the jaws of a horrifying monster. &quot; The coyote beamed, flashing a charming smile. Sparkle rolled her eyes.<br />&quot;The fuck are you talking about? Saloon girl? I&#039;m a bartender. &quot; She groaned quietly. The coyote frowned.<br />&quot;No...No, honey...you...Serena? Don&#039;t you remember? It&#039;s me. Ricochet. Gun slinger...remember? Remember, at the saloon. La-la-la, trickles and tickles.? We danced and got drunk and...oh, Serena...you have to remember...what has Hell done to you?&quot; Ricochet whimpered. Spark frowned quietly, and opened her eyes, sitting up with a groan of pain. Ribs ...bruised if not broken. Wonderful. She looked over quietly, past the sniffling coyote at the large dead body of the monster that was trying to eat her earlier. Five minutes was up. She laughed at her own punch line.<br /><br />&quot;First of all. Thank you for saving my life. Secondly, I&#039;m not Serena. My name is Spark. Third, please. Don&#039;t be crazy. I&#039;ve had it up to here with crazy. I&#039;m done with crazy. Fourth, after that fight, I swear to God, if I didn&#039;t ding...I&#039;m quitting this game for ever. &quot; She growled. The coyote just stared. Sparkle sighed.<br />&quot;I need to start hanging out with a younger crowd. They get those jokes. Look, I&#039;m really grateful for your gun play. And that was keen shooting ya did with the rats and all, but I&#039;m ...I&#039;m not...who you think I am.&quot; She explained. The coyote shook his head sadly, and gripped her paw in his own.<br /><br />&quot;You&#039;re my wife...I mean, you&#039;re Serena and I&#039;m Ricochet, and we were gonna buy the Saloon, and we were gonna...God, we were gonna be happy. We were gonna be so happy, and I had the money...I had the money, and then you ...I...Don&#039;t you remember? You&#039;re supposed to remember...&quot; He begged her, tears in his eyes. Sparkle shook her head slowly. Crazy. Everybody down here was crazy.<br /><br />&quot;Ricochet. There...there was another...There was another girl here...a coyote. I think...I think you&#039;re a little confused, honey. &quot;Sparkle whispered softly, but the other canine stood up with a snarl, shaking his head.<br /><br />&quot;NO! No no no...I&#039;ve been trying to rescue you for ...for so long...I don&#039;t even remember...every day...I prayed...I begged God for help...and...I was supposed to rescue you...and you were supposed to remember everything I&#039;d forgotten...and You HAVE to be Serena! You&#039;re just confused...look at your eyes!&quot; He barked. Spark frowned, but tilted her head curiously to one side.<br /><br />&quot;My eyes?&quot; She asked slowly. Ricochet nodded his head quickly, immediately dropping down to his knees next to her.<br /><br />&quot;Yeah. Everybody here...Everybody in hell has these itty bitty, tiny lil pin prick eyes...but your&#039;s are great big and green...you HAVE to be my Serena...my darling...my love...&quot; Ricochet begged. Spark sighed deeply and rested her paws over his and squeezed.<br /><br />&quot;Sure why not.&quot; She groaned. Ricochet&#039;s eyes widened.<br /><br />&quot;Really?&quot; He squeaked.<br /><br />&quot;NO!&quot; She snarled, narrowing her eyes. &quot; For fucks sakes, Ricochet. I&#039;m NOT a coyote, I&#039;m NOT from the 1890s, and I&#039;m NOT Serena. I&#039;m Sparkle. I&#039;m from the 2000s, and I&#039;m a WOLF. WOLF. Not to say we aren&#039;t compatible, but you know...cause you&#039;re cute...just...I&#039;m not Serena.&quot; Sparkle explained as clearly as she could. The two stared at each other for a long while, and finally, Richochet let go of her paw.<br /><br />&quot;...I ruined it. I intervened...I think. You said you were doing this for a long time, right? Like, trying to rescue...this girl...Serena...But I showed up before you got here...I...I fucked it up by being here, cause I&#039;m not supposed to be here and...now the church is destroyed...everything&#039;s gone...I...ruined your punishment...&quot;Sparkle said slowly, eyes widening, while Ricochet tilted his head, looking at her with a single eye from under his hat.<br /><br />&quot;Zat a fact? So I guess my new punishment is that I gotta spend my time with you, huh?&quot; He grinned. Spark groaned.<br /><br />&quot;Hey, I saved your sorry butt, like, four times in the last ten minutes. You think I&#039;m gonna let you walk out of here and get killed by the next demon we see? Sides, I wanna know more about where YOU come from...and how you got your eyes like that...&quot; The coyote explained. Spark groaned yet again, and dragged herself to her feet, clutching her side with one paw.<br /><br />&quot;First of all. My sorry butt saved YOUR ass with my absolute zero spell....I think. Secondly...my...side really hurts...canni go lie down...please...&quot; She begged, walking quietly over to the spot she left her jacket. The coyote nodded his head, watching her bend over to fetch her clothing. Ok...not so &#039;sorry&#039; ...</span>",
