(Mostly because I kept trying to make it a horror story, as I'm one to do) But in that story, Belladonna was the mafia boss who had an entire city under her control. I am an *obsessive* worldbuilder when it comes to novels, but I have intentionally left my oc's backstories vague so I can shoehorn them into any situation or canon I want. But I have all these unused characters just floating in space, and I can't really have a vague mafia boss, can I?\nThis morning, I had an idea for developing the backstory for all of my characters; making a bunch of vignettes between characters and organically building a world from those stories. I have not tried worldbuilding this way before and its very scary.\n\nNow, I'm not going to let the cool lesbian mafia boss bat be anything other than the cool lesbian mafia boss bat. But her character and the world around her can be called into question. So I decided that before I go ahead and have a story with her, she deserved a redesign and a slight behavior modification that will continue to develop as I write these stories.\n\nBelladonna at her core is the same: However, when I made her, she was very much reminiscent of the \"ice queen\" stereotype - An unfun, evil bitch. As I said earlier, her personality may change as I write these stories and see what fits her best, but I plan to not make her unfun. And she might be evil, at the very least morally questionable.
