Jake paused the video 13 minutes in, less than halfway but he was already feeling nauseous. he could not even finish it, clicking out of the page and closing his laptop. he had to process what he saw.
Should he confront Jamie about this, tell her mom, the cops, would he get in trouble for watching this, these thoughts and more flooded Jake's mind. It was getting late, and he was cleary not handling this, he decided to get a night of rest and get this off his mind.
Jake woke up the next morning with a clear head, a good night of rest really did help. he decided not to tell anyone about the video but now that he had prepared himself, a part of him needed to see it again. Jake opening his laptop, opened a new page and typed the FileYoink URL only to be met with a blank screen.
"Unable to reach this page" it read as he tried refreshing the page many times, but he could not find it. Jake closed his laptop and took a breath. The video was gone. jake was conflicted about what this meant but he had no evidence either way that such a video existed.
It was about a week before Jake returned to the Wilson house, the second he entered he heard the pattering of feet as Jamie rushed across the room, hugging Jake.
"Mr. Myers" the black rabbit replied as Jake put on a smile, the sad truth was that he was incapable of looking at Jamie in the same way, as that sweet girl he thought he knew. after what he saw of that video, the way she presented herself, the way she dressed and talked. it had a lasting effect.
"Why don't you go ahead and watch cartoons, I'll do the laundry then get started on dinner" Jake replied as the bunny bolted to the living room. Jake took this opportunity to scope out the bedroom. the first-place worth checking was the shelf of plushies, standing there, he had the same view of the bed but none of the plushies seemed to contain a nanny cam.
"This is ridiculous, Jamie can barely work the TV Remote" Jake thought to himself.
Jake questioned this as he approached the toybox from this video, flipping it open. The box was indeed filled with toys, but kids' toys, dolls, a plastic tea set, a toy car with controller; nothing out of the ordinary.
Even Jamie's drawers were clean; nothing but standard cub clothes, the only thing even remotely dirty were the white panties on the floor with cartoon mascot printed on them, mixed with the other clothes. Jake shook his head, nothing added up. where were the costumes, the props, the Camera. Jake eventually gathered the dirty clothes and carried them the washing machine, plopping them in and starting it.
He could not tell what was real as he entered the living room, Jamie bouncing on the couch with excitement in her usual manner. The Jamie he knew and the Jamie he saw in that Video were like night and day, he didn't know to think so he just sat on the couch and pulled out his handheld.
