In fact, I dare to say I have no control over him at all. He fights without instruction, trains on his own accord, and on both cases his performance is greater than anything I could ever hope him to achieve with my aid. It's... humbling. To a scary degree, even.\n\nEven more, it feels strange... Overwhelming. Suffocating. He sits down on the floor, heaving, and stretches his foot-talons. I see them. I'm hypnotized. Heat radiates from them as if from a furnace. His look at me is imposing, but at the same time inviting. As if he said 'I'm done, and I know you're proud of me. Time for my reward.'\n\nOf course, I must oblige. I'm his trainer. I live to serve him.
