"description": "Oh, don't I have a lot to say about this one! <3\n\nI have been so excited to show you guys this new version of Shads as a broodmother, not to be confused by my hivemind version. All they have in common is that they both have horns and A LOT of babies. :3\nAnd yes, this one is a Shadow turned completely alien, but he actually has nothing to do with the story I mentioned in my last journal. This one is actually for a completely different story, which will be a Shadipse one.\n\nSpeaking of Eclipse, that is where I drew most of my inspiration from. I wanted Shadow to be similar to him, hence the colour scheme, the crests, eyes, and tail.\nAnd why no hands? I'm not really sure if I should keep it at five or lessen the number a little, similar to Eclipse. Once I figure that out, however, the blank space next to him will be used to show them off.\n\n[b]As for the numbers on the last page:[/b]\n\n[b]1)[/b] Shadow has developed a kind of venom that is unique solely to him. A dangerous set of teeth is used to inject it.\n\n[b]2)[/b] The red crests adorning his body are there for his protection.\n[b]*[/b] The crest on his pelvis acts as a sort of chastity belt. Only Eclipse is allowed access there. It is also the only crest he sheds during pregnancy to accommodate his growing abdomen.\n\n[b]3)[/b] The parts of his body coated in the darkest shade of black are a tougher part of the skin, almost like an exoskeleton to protect that which is the most vital.\n[b]*[/b] 'Quills' are sharper and sturdier than his original hairdoe for protection.\n\n[b]4)[/b] Horns are there for protection and status as the offspring will not be inheriting those.\n\n[b]5)[/b] The sharp plating on his arms are used for attack and defence.\n\n[b]6)[/b] Legs are shaped for agility and speed, though he can't reach sonic's speed anymore.\n\n[b]7)[/b] These parts on his body are the only parts left of his original mobian body as they are covered with fur. This is also why his streaks are still apparent here and nowhere else.\n\n[b]8)[/b] The tail is long and flexible. Though mostly purely out of convenience, for example when moving his brood, he can also use it for other purposes, such as defense.\n\n[b]9)[/b] This spike at the end is like Eclipse, except sharper and can be used for defense, though still slightly flexible.\n\n[b]10)[/b] His eyes are taking more after Eclipse's now too. He sees great in the dark, but that does mean he has to shy away from light, something Eclipse doesn't need to do.\n\n[b]Extra:[/b]\n- Ears were no longer needed, but he still hears just as fine as Eclipse does.\n- Is now possibly a female.\n- Needs Eclipse in order to reproduce. With others is possible, but not advised.\n\nAlso, I am very sad that no one is adding to my 'broodmother Shadow' tag. Shame on yourselves! \\/.\\/\n\nEDIT:\nOh look! I did update this drawing! :D\nNot only have a finally figured out what I wanted to do with those hands of his, but I have also decided to show off those teeth! :D\nI thought about doing them yellow like Eclipse's teeth, but than decided against it.",

7) These parts on his body are the only parts left of his original mobian body as they are covered with fur. This is also why his streaks are still apparent here and nowhere else.
8) The tail is long and flexible. Though mostly purely out of convenience, for example when moving his brood, he can also use it for other purposes, such as defense.
9) This spike at the end is like Eclipse, except sharper and can be used for defense, though still slightly flexible.
10) His eyes are taking more after Eclipse's now too. He sees great in the dark, but that does mean he has to shy away from light, something Eclipse doesn't need to do.
Extra:
- Ears were no longer needed, but he still hears just as fine as Eclipse does.
- Is now possibly a female.
- Needs Eclipse in order to reproduce. With others is possible, but not advised.
