Sometimes they know something about themselves that you don't.\n\nI was idly pondering my various characters' sexualities a while ago, namely whether the female characters that have only ever been paired with males have any interest in the same sex. I couldn't quite imagine Vi finding another female attractive, but come to think of it, I wasn't sure what she'd find appealing in the opposite sex, either. For that matter, I look back at everything I've made and realize she's never shown actual attraction to anyone at all. She obviously likes sex, but it's not because she has interest in whoever she's with. It's the first time I've really thought about it since someone asked years ago what she'd be like as a romantic partner, and while I couldn't manage to imagine her in a relationship, it didn't occur to me to dig any further.\n\nSo I suppose Vi could be called a sex-favourable asexual? “Cupiosexual” sounds right for those into the microlabel scene. It's really just a realization about her, understanding her a bit more deeply and explaining her behaviour, rather than anything changing about her. Still, it does seem kind of funny to realize that my most popular porn character for many years was aroace all along.\n\nIt took me a while to figure out how to express this in a “Vi” kind of way, but I think this works as a decently natural way to weave a mention into her usual behaviour. I'm just surprised I managed to come up with kind of a new pose for a pregnant feral after all this time (okay, more like a new angle, but it's seriously one of the most difficult parts of drawing Vi these days when she's already been drawn in most sensible configurations I can imagine).",
