Unfortunately, I'm never happy with how my male-focused work turns out, but I do also have the occasional interest in totally genderless characters. Not in the nonbinary sense, per se (though I don't necessarily mind that either), but being a species that simply has no concept of male/female. Pokémon are definitely an untapped source for this. Whether they still somehow get involved in sex varies, but I guess not in this specific case.\n\nI did used to know someone who did something a bit similar to this strip: as a pretty sex-neutral asexual, they found great amusement in how easily people got worked up over arousal and whatnot, so they'd entertain themselves by learning what people were into and saying or mentioning things that played strongly into those interests.
