That having been said, though, I'm really going to have to take some time to get back into practice with sketching stuff and whatnot again.\n\nI was pretty much just trying to do two things with this: introduce the whole “breeder” idea of mine so that the cat can be a cat that does something instead of just a cat, and also pushing myself further again with making something “nice.” I think it went some significant distance towards each, at least I did take things a little more slowly with more willingness to lose time to fixing and redrawing anything that looked. I think most of it worked, at least, though I'm certain I could still get a good deal better at making things look 3D enough when it's important (i.e. big round things). I at least make an active effort to avoid some of the most common problems I see with aforementioned big round things occupying the same physical space as something else and consequently looking really flat. It's one of those cases where I realize that the amount of attention I put into the background, but I really wanted to try my hand at some more serious aerial perspective, and Krita's filter masks happen to be fantastic for precisely that (that is, non-destructively blurring select parts of the image). I do sometimes overdo these kinds of things when I try them the first time, which I realize might've happened here, but it's not like I can expect everything to work quite right from the beginning, anyways.\n\nNow to figure out what to work on next after not having to come up with any new ideas for however long.",
