"description": "Nysla's a bit of a different take on things.\n_________________________________________________________________________________\n\nI had this idea in my head for a while, and while I'm extremely cautious about introducing new characters for many reasons, I do think that this one should fill a gap that mine have always had, as is explained in the image.\n\nI did get quite experimental with this, trying to give a good preview of what I'll be able to try with her. Quite possibly too much, though, as I'm not sure the text is as easy to follow as it should be (nor do I really know how people will respond to said text). Connecting the top and bottom groups of bubbles does help emphasize that they're meant to be read together, separately from the one in the centre, though it could also tempt a person to read the bottom ones from right to left. Couldn't quite figure out how to fix that. It also somehow only occurred to me at the very end that there was a bunch of negative space awkwardly inhabiting the right side of the image without extending the bubbles vertically like that, so it was a really late addition. The composition probably could've had more thought put into it (though I did try a bit, at least). I'll hope it's at least apparent that she's literally lying on the dialogue bubbles, though.\n\nI think she turned out fine enough, at least. Not without a little in the way of difficulty, but I'll hopefully get used to drawing her over time.\n\nFor the obligatory comment on how long this took to make, I actually decided to stop timing myself on these since the only metric that actually ends up mattering is how long it takes me to post a new piece.
