This should've taken me less time than it did (that's true for everything I'm making, I think), with the holdup this time being having trouble placing and drawing the head correctly from this point of view. I think this would've taken an hour and a half at most otherwise, which is still a bit much for how much actual content is here (it's a head, paws, and belly), but I have to set my sights on something, I guess.\n\nI also realized that I had been kind of dodgy with my earlier pieces presentation-wise, so I tried to give this one a final pass in pencil to darken the lines and then put a bit more effort into cleaning it up. I'm still not quite sure what I should be doing to clean up the image afterwards, especially when it comes to some sections of the paper being darker than others due to smudges and creases. The obvious solution is not to have those things to begin with, but they seem to some extent unavoidable, and I wouldn't think that the solution would be to remove it all by hand. I did try to get rid of the most egregious parts of it, but the issue that results from that is having a dark \"glow\" around the lineart that shouldn't be there.
