"description": "A couple sketches I did as an intermission from working on something bigger. I actually started on these before the scent dragon stuff I recently uploaded, but I wanted to draw that idea as soon as it occurred to me, so I put this on hold and then resumed it to add another piece afterwards.\n\nI'm not quite sure what the ideal methodology is for creating clean scans. I did a ton of touching up by hand after scanning this and then adjusting the levels, because the adjustment made every little smudge stand out horribly. I actually tried different techniques on the different sketches - I cleaned up the \"jackass\" one really thoroughly, which ended in the lines looking a little ghosty, because it was the dirtiest of all of them, having been the first I drew; I didn't touch the inside of the internal view sketch at all, which leaves it looking dirty but more natural; and I hardly did anything at all to the sequence at the bottom, but that was the last thing I drew, so it hadn't gotten too smudged or anything yet anyways. That cleaning takes some time to do, though, and is pretty dull.\n\nThese were all basically just cheap ideas I wanted to try out with her but had never gotten around to. Not sure if I'll ever want to finish any of them or redraw them entirely, but I do find tracing sketches to be extremely boring, so it's not the most tempting of ideas.",
