This is honestly just a means of getting to popping as far as I'm concerned, even if I haven't quite figured out how to draw that yet, since I actually find the idea of a [i]completed[/i] pregnancy very offputting in of itself (yes, I hold very healthy views on this stuff). As such, I don't really intend to do much more with this idea for the time being, but it's fun to visit on the rare occasion. If I had a \"canon,\" though (which I really don't), this wouldn't be part of it.\n\nIf you're wondering why the breeder girl looks almost exactly like I do, it's just to stay thematic - as much as I like interspecies sex and crossbreeding (which I really do - something about putting kittens in something [i]other[/i] than a cat has its own appeal), I find some added appeal in procreating with another feline, too. It comes off as a bit more natural. The similar fur patterns were basically just a way of emphasizing that \"same species\" idea, where we're probably the same breed or whatever as well. Black and white cats making more black and white cats.\n\nAs for the actual art bits, I did a couple things differently. For one, I only took two weeks on this, which is a god damned record in recent times, where I'd usually take at least a month. I've been scheduling my time a bit more rigorously and it's resulting in being able to both draw more and actually time how long I draw, which is how I know that this took just over eleven hours (about 50% longer than some solo pics I've done in the past). Getting better means adding more detail, and adding more detail means taking more time, unfortunately. I used to be able to crank this stuff out, but that was back when I put in less effort and added less detail for poorer results. On that same subject, I tried something new with lighting that I had actually meant to do in a previous image: coloured lighting. It's definitely noticeable here, not that I think it really benefited much or changed anything. The idea was that we're in some cheaply-lit concrete room, so I actually took the supposed colour of light produced by a low-watt bulb and used that for the highlight. It turned out... questionably, I guess, since it wasn't really as bright as it should've been to act as an actual highlight. I'll have to tweak it a bit, but I have a feeling I won't be able to get away with only using one light colour (e.g. white or orange) for the entire image, and having to switch between multiple colours will make shading take a good deal longer, I fear. Here's hoping that whatever I come up with looks better and doesn't taking hours longer.\n\nWell, if nothing else, it feels good to get something out relatively quickly and have it involve some nice fetish material. I already know what I'm working on next, as ambitious as it kind of is, but we'll see how it goes.
