  "description": "Commissioned by someone who wants to remain anonymous (shocking, I know).\n\nThe bull terrier was a known thief that regularly pushed his luck. Since his offences were petty theft, he was let off with a fine, sometimes spending a night in jail. Caught red handed breaking into a noble’s home, the bull terrier cooperated in his arrest expecting a higher jail stay and fine than previous arrests. The judge expressed his tiredness of seeing the bull terrier before him on a regular basis along with some other local thieves. Since the bull terrier escalated to breaking into a home, the judge said it was just a matter of time before someone is injured or killed. To make an example for others, he ordered the bull terrier to be executed, ignoring his pleas for mercy as guards began forcefully stripping him down to his tights. With his hands bound at the wrists, he was led out of the courtroom through the streets, gathering a small crowd as they made their way to one of the city’s backroad. Stopping just outside on a small clearing, the executioner pointed to a spot for the bull terrier to kneel. Hesitating briefly, he slowly walked over and dropped to one knee, looking over the crowd of familiar faces, focusing on the executioner inspecting a pair of swords. Choosing one, he took a practice swing and made his way to the bull terrier, locking eyes briefly as he walked past him. “Head straight, chin up” the executioner said as he raised his sword. The bull terrier took several deep breaths before complying, holding his neck straight and lifting his nose a bit with his eyes fixed on the fields ahead. As the crowd watched in silence, the executioner swung his sword, slicing through the bull terrier’s neck without slowing down. His head fell forward into the dirt as his neck shot out a stream of blood. Remaining still for a couple of seconds, his body leaned back and fell to the ground convulsing as blood continued to pour out of his neck wound. Once his body became still, guards dragged it to the edge of the clearing, placing the head on his chest and leaving him to rot.",
