For those watching live behind the camera, they were treated to quite a little show as half a dozen brain-exposed subjects descended onto Freya and attempted to subdue her. Snapping out of shock, she began fighting them as they tried to grab her. Kicking, punching, and shoving them for a couple of minutes, a scientist shouted “soften her up!” which the subjects complied by ceasing their attempts to grab her and overwhelm her with punches and kicks. Beaten quickly to the ground, Freya curled up in defeat as the scientist yelled at them to stop. Bringing Freya to her feet, they bound her wrists behind her back as Gatomon’s body was removed and Freya sat down having her ankles bound to it.\n\n\tThe feed came back on to a scientist standing next to Freya with her head shaven, hanging down with her eyes tightly shut. He apologized for the delay and mishap but eagerly announces the new demonstration being handled by a “perfected” model. Freya snapped her head up in confusion as a Renamon walked up to the scientist. Unlike the others, this one had a glass enclosure around the top half of her head protecting her brain and eyes. The scientist is quick to point out that none of the attached controls to her brain are visible, having everything concealed within and her function optimized above all others as a model that all others will become. Leaving the Renamon to take over, several others help keep Freya still as the Renamon begins to cut her head open. Speaking in a robotic tone, Renamon explains her process as he gently removes the top of Freya’s head and dismisses her assistants.\n\n\tPoking and prodding her brain causes Freya’s face to twist and muscles to tense up, involuntarily fighting her bindings. “The brain must be handled with outmost care. No playing, just care” Renamon states as she wraps her hands around Freya’s brain and begins to slowly lift it. Freya tries her best to hold still with her body responding to the pressure spikes as Renamon continues to lift her brain by centimeters at a time. After a few minutes, Renamon stops lifting, holding Freya’s brain well above her head cavity. “Maximum height reached safely. Tip is to move slowly and hold gentle like hamburger.” Renamon states as Freya looks up to try to get a glimpse of her own brain. “Now to separate and operate” Renamon states as she is given a scalpel and readies it at the stem. “Lights out future co-worker” she tells Freya as she quickly slices and separates her brain causing Freya’s head to drop and body to go limp. Carefully balancing the brain with one hand, she places it in a jar of liquid and the scientist joins Renamon on stage to begin attaching the probes to the brain and re-attaching it to Freya in a span of several minutes. As her brain is reattached to her body, Freya resumes movement, raising her head and looking around the room. Clapping from the audience behind the cameras and the scientist on stage bring the demonstration to a conclusion.
