"description": "For a village composed solely of fennec foxes, they did well at keeping their territory safe from attackers using their small size to their advantage, primarily engaging foes at a distance with arrows and spears. A ship full of bulls docked on shore a fair distance away from their village, putting the foxes on alert as scouts began watching the large bovines unload and set up camp right off their ship.\n\nA couple of days passed and not much happened as the bulls remained within their campsite, appearing to be making a temporary stop. A second ship arrived on the third day and the scouts became nervous as the bulls began setting up weapon racks on shore. The following morning the scouts retreated to the village to relay the news of the bulls mobilizing in a large unit fully armed and heading in their direction.\n\nBeing a self sufficient village, they were on their own at fighting off the towering beasts, and used the short time they had to prepare their defense and get in position for the incoming battle. Coming into view from the village, the bulls marched at a steady pace towards them with dozens of fox archers readying their bows and a scout walking towards them to attempt to start a peaceful dialogue.\n\nBefore the fox could be within a reasonable earshot of the bulls, an arrow flew past their front line striking the fox on the chest sending him to the ground severely wounded. Reaching the fox, one of the bulls swung down his axe striking the fox on the head without slowing down as the rest walked over his body. The shock was shaken off quickly as their leader shouted to attack prompting all the fox archers to fire on the bulls.\n\nAs arrows began to rain down on them, they broke their formation to dodge the initial hail of arrows and charged towards the village at full speed belting out their battle cry as they quickly closed in. Blade and spear wielding foxes held their position, doing their best to keep their composure seeing bulls struck by arrows and not slowing down from the impact. The foxes managed to down a few bulls but not enough before they reached the village, slaughtering the first line of foxes with ease. As the fighting began spreading out, bull archers emerged from the charge and began engaging the fox archers, taking out the majority of them uninterrupted as their warriors pushed the fighting foxes back into the village.\n\nThe leader of the foxes began his retreat with a few following behind, all quickly shot down with arrows to the back. With only a few foxes left standing, some of the bulls began checking up on their fallen as well as confirming the death of their enemies by slicing the throats of the dead and dying foxes. The few remaining foxes continued to fight unaware of the of their surrounding, most injured making a last stand against their thick skinned invaders. The last uninjured fox remaining deflected blow after blow from an axe wielding bull with a pair of daggers. Darting in and out, he landed several slices on his foe appearing to do very little damage. A bull slicing downed fox throats nearby watched for a short time rolling his eyes at the sight, stuck his sword on a fox's back and casually began walking towards the fox from behind. Darting in for a few slices between the bull's axe swings and backing out ready to dodge the next one with a smirk on his face. Taunting the bull, he backed out of another swing successfully, but the fox propelled himself close enough to the approaching bull who simply grabbed him by the neck with both hands. With a seemingly effortless squeeze, the fox's neck popped causing his eyes to bulge out nearly popping out of their sockets. Holding on to the twitching body the bull looked over at the exhausted axe wielding one and the several bleeding cuts on his torso and shook his head, \"that was a pathetic display to witness\" he said, releasing the fox and making his way back to his sword. By the following morning the bulls left the village, pulling 3 carts with all the valuables taken from the fox village, the bodies of their fallen, and the last cart carrying the blood dripping pelts of the foxes to later process and sell back home.\n\n------------------------------\nCommissioned by anonymous who has a thing for bulls, tribal stuff, and \"herbivores overpowering carnivores\" as my direction for the piece. I think I nailed it don't you think?\n\nThe excess blank space is deliberate as the commissioner may be interested in a colored version of the piece which would need a background thus the open space. We'll see, this was a fun one to knock out.",
