A poet that’s been doing so for a long time, pays no attention to the warnings and when he ends his stay in one place, he simply travels on foot to the next location where he can share his writings. The peaceful poet has run into bandits in the past, and aside being robbed for the little coin he sometimes carry, he’s also gained inspiration from meeting bandits and influenced some of his writing. Once again ignoring the warnings he received from citizens and guards, he left on foot late in the afternoon, resting close to the road at nightfall. Sleeping on a grassy patch, the poet was unaware of the local gang of bandits that have been following since he left the city gates.\n\nHalf a dozen bandits slowly crept up to the sleeping poet with blades drawn, sheathing their weapons as they noticed he appeared to be unarmed and only had a small bag and book next to his sleeping body. A feline bandit stepped closer to the poet, unwinding a length of cord he had hanging from his loincloth, stretching it out between his hands with a firm grip. Inch by inch he moved closer, stepping over the body and crouching down over him. As everyone stood around watching silently, he exchanged nods with them, crossed his arms forming a loop with the cord and throwing it over the poet’s head, uncrossing his arms, tightening the cord around his neck and pulling it tight. Waking up to his throat sealed, he clawed at the cord before trying to push himself up off the ground. With the feline’s full body weight on top of him, his struggles were useless. Kicking and trying to shake him off without budging his attacker one bit. Taking notice of the bandits standing in front of him watching, he tried to signal them for mercy with his hands, pausing mid gesture as he noticed one had his loincloth to the side and was openly stroking himself as he grinned while making eye contact. His fate was sealed and through the panic and fading vision he accepted it. Trying to let his mind wander in the little time he had left, his body still kicked and clawed at the ground before relaxing. As his body went limp but for a twitch and jerk here and there, the feline on top let his head down to the grass and loosened up the grip, allowing him to slip off the cord and stand up over the corpse.
