"How long had it been? A week ... at least a week, but it could be a month already. Time was so fuzzy now ... being kept on a baby’s schedule, unable to tell if its day or night. All the days just merged together.
Snow ... the Plush ... it didn't matter what I call him in my head, I hardly ever get to talk any more anyway. The milk must be drugged to keep me sleeping about 18 hours a day. He hangs her feeder bag to the stroller, and for the first time since she arrived takes her out of the nursery. But all of the puppy's hopes of finding any help outside of the few rooms the plush took him in were dashed as soon as the door to the outside opened. The house, a big manor, had a huge park with walls so high no-one could jump over them. The princess was in a prison fit to keep royalty in: there was no escape.
