Adira then left. \"Well. You hear her, Maeve. They get out of the bed, gets some clothes on and go down to eat their breakfast.\n\n\nAll three are sitting at table, enjoying their breakfast and having some talks. \"So. What plans do you two love birds have for today?\" asks lady Adira. \"Nothing much, but i plan on getting some more firewood. Don't wanna be caught in a blizzard unprepared\" says Brutus. \"Can i help?\" asks snow kitty. \"Sure. You can help carry some of the firewood. Saves me a few trips\". He then looks at Adira \"What about you, Adira, got any plans for today?\". \"Other than buying some supplies, i don't have plans for today\". \"You could help us with the firewood\", \"Yeah, mommy. It'll be fun\". But old Adira simply shacked her head. \"Sorry, but i have to keep the tavern clean and proper, then go buy the supplies\". She then gives Brutus a key. \"A spare key to the tavern, in case i'm not back when you're done\". \"Thanks, Adira\". \"Just try not lose it somewhere in the forest\". They finish their breakfast and hand the plates to lady Adira. \"let's go, Maeve\". \"Yaay\". And out the door and into the forest they go, leaving poor Adira alone in the tavern. But she just smiles. She cleans the plates, grabs a bag to hold the supplies, some money, exit the tavern and locks the door. \"Time to do some shopping\" she says to herself with strange enthusiasm.\n\n\nShe makes her way to the center of the village where the open market is located. It's cold, but not freezing cold. Plus Keidrans can handle the cold weather better, thanks to their winter coat. She buys various meat from the market, deer, fish, chicken, pork, beef, rabbit and some birds. All the good stuff a feline and wolf keidran loves, and can be salted or dried for later use. When done buying all the meat that is needed, she gets on her way back to the tavern. However, she is not taking the path that leads to the tavern. Instead she's walking to a different part of the village. Strange. Suspicious Adira continues walking till she gets to a house no different from the rest, looks around to see if there's anybody around, then enters the house. It's pitch black inside. The past 26 weeks has been quite the adventure for little Maeve, lady Adira and big goofball Brutus. Maeve getting impregnated by drunk Brutus and having to carry a huge wolf cub boy named Niall, who is twice the size of a regular wolf cub. Adira, always wanting a chance to skin that idiot Brutus for deflowering and getting her precious angel pregnant, now accepts Brutus as part of the family as he has shown to really love sweet little Maeve and is willing to take responsibility for his mistake. And Brutus. Well... All Brutus really wanted was a beer but ended up getting fatherhood. And he's loving it.
3 Months has passed since Maeve brought her "little" Niall into the world. And during those 3 months, both little Maeve and big wolfy Brutus were taken for quite a ride when learning how to care for a newborn, and having to get up in the middle of the freaking night whenever Niall cried. Lots of fun, oh yeah. Thankfully, Adira was there to always advice them and teach them how to better handle the stress. And when grandmother Adira was not teaching the newly made parents how to be parents, she was enjoying her time together with Niall. She still felt odd when holding Niall, seeing the very proof right in front of her that she is now a grandmother. And of course the fact Naill is massive. Seriously Maeve, how the hell did you manage that? But regardless, this is truly a moment she will treasure forever. And while all this is good, Brutus was not quite so happy. Not because he wasn't happy about being a father. It was about his boss. See, his boss is not a nice person and is no doubt not happy with Brutus running off and starting family. And he was right. Yet despite being very angry at Brutus, his boss let him go. A thank you for the service Brutus had done for him. But when he made it to the doors and was about to leave the place, voices were heard from the area where his ex-boss was. His voice. But he wasn't the one talking. "You'll make a fine replacement" he heard his ex-boss say. Chills ran down the now frightened Wolf's spine. He ran as fast as he could, never looking back. Now that he no longer worked for his ex-boss, he could focus all his energy on being a father and supporting his new family. And thanks to his impressive strength and stamina, he found plenty of hard work to earn his keep.
Now, let us return to our friends and see what they're up to.

It's a cloudy and cold day at the village now that winter has come, and we find our two love birds sleeping soundly together in snow kitty's bed, with no pesky sun to ruin their moment. *YAWN!* but you gotta wake up at some point, even without the damn sun to do it. And it was our big bad wolf Brutus who was the first to wake up. He opens his eyes to see his beautiful mate Maeve. He puts his hand on her cheek, gently brushing her thick yet soft winter fur. But despite being gentle, the little snow leopard woke up. *Yawn* she opens her eyes and sees a big goofball wolf boy. "Hey, Brutus. Did you sleep well?" asks the little snow leopard. "I always sleep well when i'm with you". Maeve then realize her mate's hand is on her cheek, then puts her hand on his. She giggles and kisses her big mate. Before they were able to get really intimate, a familiar voice was heard near the door. "Having fun you two?". They broke off the kissing and saw it was Adira. "Hey, mommy" "Hey, Adira" said Maeve and Brutus respectively. "While you two were busy kissing, i've made breakfast for you". "Thank you kindly, Adira" said the kind Brutus. Adira then left. "Well. You hear her, Maeve. Let's go eat". "Awwwww, can't we kiss a bit longer?" she said with big puppy eyes. "I'd love to Maeve, but you know kissing on an empty stomach isn't fun". "Yeah, i know". Before getting out of the bed, sweet boy Brutus gave his mate one last kiss. They get out of the bed, gets some clothes on and go down to eat their breakfast.
All three are sitting at table, enjoying their breakfast and having some talks. "So. What plans do you two love birds have for today?" asks lady Adira. "Nothing much, but i plan on getting some more firewood. Don't wanna be caught in a blizzard unprepared" says Brutus. "Can i help?" asks snow kitty. "Sure. You can help carry some of the firewood. Saves me a few trips". He then looks at Adira "What about you, Adira, got any plans for today?". "Other than buying some supplies, i don't have plans for today". "You could help us with the firewood", "Yeah, mommy. It'll be fun". But old Adira simply shacked her head. "Sorry, but i have to keep the tavern clean and proper, then go buy the supplies". She then gives Brutus a key. "A spare key to the tavern, in case i'm not back when you're done". "Thanks, Adira". "Just try not lose it somewhere in the forest". They finish their breakfast and hand the plates to lady Adira. "let's go, Maeve". "Yaay". And out the door and into the forest they go, leaving poor Adira alone in the tavern. But she just smiles. She cleans the plates, grabs a bag to hold the supplies, some money, exit the tavern and locks the door. "Time to do some shopping" she says to herself with strange enthusiasm.
She makes her way to the center of the village where the open market is located. It's cold, but not freezing cold. Plus Keidrans can handle the cold weather better, thanks to their winter coat. She buys various meat from the market, deer, fish, chicken, pork, beef, rabbit and some birds. All the good stuff a feline and wolf keidran loves, and can be salted or dried for later use. When done buying all the meat that is needed, she gets on her way back to the tavern. However, she is not taking the path that leads to the tavern. Instead she's walking to a different part of the village. Strange. Suspicious Adira continues walking till she gets to a house no different from the rest, looks around to see if there's anybody around, then enters the house. It's pitch black inside. Everything is quiet. Dead quiet. *Finger snap*. Suddenly the entire room she is standing in is full of light, and we see a stranger with a hooded cloak standing in the corner of the room. "Hello, mam. Did you take a wrong turn on your way home?". The stranger's face is completely obscured. He steps towards poor Adira until he is right in front of her. He puts his hand her cheek, brushes her fur, slowly moves down to her shoulder then down her arm. "Have you been getting younger, my lady? Your fur seem softer" the stranger chuckled. "Oh my, aren't we a charmer". "I aim to please... And pleasure". The stranger takes now charmed Adira's hand and kisses it. "How long did you practice this little show of yours?". "Enough to impress, the rest is improvised". He removes his cloak, revealing who he is and then kisses her. "I've missed you, Zen". "Missed you too, dear". They walk over to a nearby table in the house and take a seat.
"How have you been, Adira? And how is Maeve doing?" asks Zen. "I'm fine, and Maeve is doing fine, too". "Happy to hear that. I've been worried things had gone south with Maeve". "You referring to her pregnancy?". "Yes. I've been to many places and seen many things, but none of it comes to close a young keidran like Maeve going through pregnancy" he immediately starts look like he was getting nauseous just by talking about it. *Sigh* "I'm just glad nothing bad came of it. But that massive belly. By the gods, i can't believe it was possible for one cub to grow to such a massive size" she was facepalming from reminding herself of it. "Is she still pregnant?". "No, she gave birth about three months ago. It happened while we together". "So... She gave birth... Alone?". "Yes". Zen feels guilty for spending time with Adira when she should've been with Maeve. "I'm so sorry, Adira. I didn't kn-" lady Adira interject. "It's not your fault. I should've known better than to leave Maeve alone when she was days, if not mere hours, away from going into labor". The now sadden Adira bury her head in her hands. "Instead i decided i was too horny, in need of man's touch, than staying with my daughter, my only child when she needed me the most". Tears started streaming Adira's hands. "I'm a terrible mother. I failed her again. Just like i failed her when she got pregnant". The still guilty feeling Zen moves his chair and sits next to Adira, comforting her. "It wasn't your fault, dear. How could anyone have predicted Brutus would do that to your daughter". "I... I could've told her not to help me. I could've done it by myself". "We don't always base our decisions on worst case scenario being the outcome. And we shouldn't, as that would mean living in fear, afraid everyone is out to get you. You just got very unlucky, Adira. Don't let it haunt you forever". The somewhat still tearing Adira is starting to calm down. "But. But what about that day when she gave birth alone? I know the horror of not having somebody near you when you got into labor, yet i left her alone". Zen thinks for a few seconds. "That means you must promise me and yourself not to come visit me if you daughter needs you. Can you do that?". "I promise". "You sure you haven't already broken that promise?". She raised an eyebrow, visibly confused. "What do you mean, Zen?". "You're here instead of being at home with Maeve. Pretty sure you've broken your promise before it was made". "Maeve is with Brutus and i've given them a spare key to the tavern. My promise still stands" she smiled. "Wait. She's with Brutus? The very same person who got her pregnant?". "Yup. He also lives with us". "What!? I thought you hated him?". "And i did. I really did hate him". "Then what changed your mind?". "I changed my mind because i didn't want Niall, Maeve's child, to grow up without a father". "But Brutus raped her". "I know. But instead of running away and trying to act like he didn't do it, he's actually taking responsibility for what he did. And he also seem to really love Maeve, and she for him. I know it's terrible, but i'd do more damage by keeping them apart and not allowing Brutus to help us when he really wants to atone for his mistake". *Sigh* "I still think it's wrong, but i do see your point".
They continue to sit next to each other in an awkward silence until lady Adira breaks it after a few seconds. "So. Zen. Still up for some fur ruffling time?". "I'm not sure. Our talk has pretty much ruined my mood". "Hmmmmm...". The still frisky snow leopard lady gets up from her chair and checks some of the cabinets in the kitchen. "Aha! Found them" she found some leaves Zen had gotten for one of his old contracts. He never used him. The leaves somewhat looked like the hearts kids would draw and with slight pink edges. The handsome wolf Zen turns to see what Adira is holding. "Huh. I forgot i had those". "Still not interested, darling?" waving the leaves to entice him. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt. Let's give them a try". She cuts them into smaller pieces, places them in a bowl and pours hot water on them, then leaves them to stew for a bit. She takes two cups and pour some into them, sits next to Zen and hands him a cup. "I wonder how strong the effects are" said Zen. "Only one way to find out". They clinked the cups and drank the content. The effects were immediate with Zen getting quite a pants straining erection "Oh wow, this stuff is very strong" said the now lusty wolf. "Indeed.
