Of note is that Breezeport sits on a dimensional rift, so people from other worlds can pass through. This has been known for centuries by the time the story takes place, and is considered mundane. Some have even sent their students to the Twin Schools from other worlds. For example, Tiffany 'Gia is from another universe. The town's main attraction (and the focus of the series) are the two boarding schools located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. Longshaft Academy (a boys' school with a tradition of only accepting students with large phalluses) and Our Lady of Empty Bliss (a former haven for futanari (hermaphrodites) turned into a girls' school) both exist on either side of the street.
