Now, nearly eight years later, as Digimon Defenders is nearly at an end, I decided to revisit it and redraw the cast.\n\nHere, we see the female Defenders lined up to be counted. From left to right:\n\nOn far left, Gato, our main heroine! Gato is the nominal \"leader\" of the File Island HQ Defenders (though not the entire organization). Young, but completely dedicated to her duty. She is a close-combat expert and high-mobility ground scout. Her semen has a blue bioluminescence.\n\nNext to her, BlackGato, our OTHER main heroine. BlackGato (or BG, as she prefers to be called) is a near-clone of Gato, and her adopted sister. Formerly a murderous minion of Devidramon, thanks to Gato, she's developed a conscience, and has defected to become a Defender and atone. While she has not officially joined their ranks, she serves as a data analyst, tactical expert, and high-mobility scout and close-combat expert like her sister. Her semen has a red bioluminescence.\n\nSala is a young girl and the adopted ward of Gato. Her village was taken over by an evil cult, and everyone in it brainwashed into service of the cult.
