Timothy Soro and his young sister Rosemary were flying to Hong Kong to meet their parents Catherine and Reuben and then attend a family reunion party. Their parents had come to the city earlier and filled themselves in the last of a dozen guest rooms in that estate, rendering no vacancy for the young adult siblings. Given that the reunion was postponed to next morning instead of this coming evening, the siblings spent the rest of the night mating with each other until they became hungry.
The siblings attended the reunion party on the next morning, and it went well as everyone there expected. However as soon as the party ended, Rosemary took a glimpse of a strange flower that the estate gardener received. The siblings stopped by their parents' guest room, when they saw their naked parents minding their own business with each other. Taking this as a sign of privacy, they silently left their parents alone. For hours, Timothy and Rosemary would go on tour around the city with their cousins, until night where they received a distress message about what happened to their relatives in their estate. They checked by the manor and were stunned to see its visibly damaged state, not to mention its yard being overgrown with strange orchids. They noticed Catherine and Reuben coming out on the roof, and witnessed them mutating into their monstrous selves, with Reuben as a bipedal breeder and Catherine as a giant one (heck even taller than her 6-and-a-half-foot husband). Several Hong Kongers outside the estate noticed the scene and fled in fearful panic, which caught attention of other mutated Soro relatives who were busy mating with their non-infected relatives.
While dozen of Soro mutants would end up covering the most (if not all) of Hong Kong, Catherine and Reuben had set their eyes on their own children. But instead of having sex with them, they threw the imported mutant orchids (contaminated with their own semen and breast milk) at the latter two, likely hastening the infection by half, but still long enough to hold onto their uncorrupted free will. As their mutated parents moved onto triad members who got in their way, a taxi driver (who, at the dark corner of a closed pharmacy, witnessed the whole thing) got into his cab and dragged the siblings to safety. By safety, the taxi driver had brought them into the nearest ferry terminal, as the city's airport was way too far to reach in a time like this and the old airfield site was under such disrepair that no available plane would be able to safely land and carry fleeing survivors. Having already brought their own luggages prior to such an unexpected outbreak, Timothy and Rosemary had quickly hitched a boat ride hastily bound for Manila, but unfortunately for their fellow passengers, the Soro siblings had succumbed to their infection in the middle of the ride and spread it to everyone on board.
On the next day, the ferry crashed into the Philippine island of Batan, and there came a hundred mutants spreading across the provincial islands of Batanes, which would eventually alert unnoticed fishermen witnessing the whole thing and then its nearby islands under the Cagayan Province. However, no one else (besides the new mutants) would be recognize the leaders of a rising clan, Timothy and Rosemary Soro, the Beta Leaders of the new Soro Clan, second only to their parents, the Alpha Leaders.
