have fun", "writing": "Please read the warning in chapter 1 before continuing.\n\n\nOne and a half week later it was confirmed. Sammy was pregnant with an egg. She was lucky that she wasn't in heat or it would maybe have been more. Of course she didn't want to keep it but she decided that she would lay the egg at least. She wouldn't dare to take their life. Actually there were three reasons. The first one was that the civilized Pokémon kind was at the brink of extinction and every life mattered no matter how they came to exist. The second reason was that the egg wasn't fault for what happened and even though she didn't want to be remembered by it every day what happened to her it was innocent itself. It was already hard enough for her to not remember what happened due to her mind remembering every little bit she ever saw, heard, tasted, or overall sensed. She would have to put a lot of effort into pushing these memories as deep away into the deepest part of her mind to not think about it so she would have to give the egg away or she would probably not be able to do that, no matter how innocent the child that would hatch from the egg was. But the third reason was the one that worried Sammy the most and yet it was the most important to her. She felt something for the egg. She wanted it. She wanted to lay it. She knew what this feeling was and yet she wanted to deny it. It was her motherly instincts. Of course she knew it was not really motherly feelings but more the instinct to repopulate and to make sure her species would survive. She wanted to deny that she felt these feelings for the egg but she couldn't. She knew the feelings emerged from her instincts and yet she couldn't help but wanting it. She wanted these feelings she just didn't want these feelings for this egg that was made that horrible day.\nSam looked to his sister. \"You are thinking about it again aren't you?\"\nSammy squeaked. \"W-What do you mean?\"\nHe sighed. \"You are looking down to your belly and stroke it all the time. You are struggling about your feelings aren't you?\"\nSammy blushed and took her hands off her belly. She nodded nervously.\nSam looked to her for a moment. \"You know? I was worried that you might have trouble getting into the breeding program but now that I see you having these troubles with this eggs it shows me that you won't have so much problems after all. You will just have to find someone that can help you with overcoming your fear after what happened to you. If you find someone you can trust and maybe even love then you will surely have no problems with the breeding program. And who knows... maybe you will even be able to enjoy it.\"\nSammy looked to her brother a bit frustrated. \"But who could I trust after all this?\"\nSam tilted his head. \"Well... Kiiro was very kind and even though I would wish that someone who isn't from the 'chu line could help you with that I would trust him enough to help you with that. He would maybe even be able to help you overcoming the fear of the 'chu line.\"\nShe looked down nervously.\nSam nuzzled her softly. \"That is just an idea. We can think of other ways too.\" He softly stroked her cheek. \"You know I would do everything for you.\"\nSammy nodded still looking down.\nHe smiled. \"I mean if it would help you I would offer you to be the one that shows you what a wonderful thing it can be to breed.\"\nSammy widely blushed. \"S-Sam!\"\nSam chuckled. \"It is actually not as uncommon as it seems. The guild doesn't like it much but they are not against incest as long as it is not over several generations. They want to make sure the genes are strong after all. But even without that... right now you are already pregnant. You can't get more pregnant.\"\nSammy blushed and looked down. The thought actually didn't make her feel uncomfortable. Sure it was a strange thought but she knew her brother knew her better than anyone and he would be careful to only do what she wanted.\nThen someone knocked at the door and Sammy was taken out of her thoughts.\nSam went to open the door. He was a bit surprised to see Orenjii and Kiiro but he just smiled like always. He trained his whole life to keep up this smile even in the worst situations. He learned fast that a smile can make others feel better even if he himself didn't feel that way. \nKiiro sighed. \"We heard the news... How is she?\"\nSam looked over his shoulder to his sister. \"She has a lot to think about but for the moment she is OK.\"\nOrenjii was close to cry. \"I-I am so sorry... S-She said that she wanted to be the first... S-She only said that to save me...\"\nSam was a bit surprised by that. Not even Sammy had told him that. He sighed and nodded. \"Come in. I think it's better if we talk inside.\"\nKiiro looked to him nervously. \"Are you sure? I mean I am a Pikachu and Orenjii maybe remembers her to-\"\n\"She has hyperthymesia together with an eidetic memory what means that she can always remember basically everything. She will never forget what happened and will constantly be reminded to this moment by the smallest things. At the moment her thoughts about the egg inside her already do that so you two won't do anything worse to her. Actually Kiiro I am hoping that you will be able to help her with that in future so I would even go as far as to ask you to try to get closer to her. If she would be able to open up to you she will maybe not only be able to overcome the fear of 'chus but also be able to overcome the situation that she is in now. So please come in. There are a lot of things to talk about.\"\nSammy shivered a bit. She heard what Sam said and even though he was right she somehow felt uncomfortable.\nSam led them inside and they sat down at the table. As he passed by Sammy he whispered to her: \"One step after the other. Like always.\" He then went to the kitchen. \"I will make some tea. Please don't talk with her till I am back. It is already a good step if she doesn't run away.\" He then let them alone.\nKiiro and Orenjii felt awkward. They sat still and looked at each other. They wanted to say something but since Sam told them not to they kept quiet.\nSammy looked to them for a moment before she looked down again nervously.\nAfter five awkward minutes Sam came back with a tea kettle and four cups. He poured everyone some tea in before he sat down himself. \"OK. to make long story short... Orenjii and Kiiro you both are not fault for anything. You have done your best and things happen.\" He clinched his fist signing that he was still angry that he couldn't help before it was too late. \"So please don't worry too much about it. Sammy you are thinking the same right?\"\nSammy nodded still looking down nervously.\nSam looked to Kiiro and Orenjii.\nThey looked to Sammy still feeling a bit awkward not knowing what to say to her.\nSam sighed. \"Good. Now to the point I would like to talk with you about Kiiro. I would like to ask you if you would be willing to become Sammy's mate.\"\nBoth Kiiro and Orenjii looked at him with agape mouths.\nSammy squeaked nervously.\nKiiro was the first to speak. \"Wait... What? Why me? I mean... I am a Pikachu. Wouldn't that be something like the worst case scenario?\"\nSam shook his head. \"Actually it would be the best thing to do here. Of course she will need some time to adjust to you first but once she learned that she doesn't need to fear you you would be the best partner for her. She is shy and sometimes need someone who push her forward but at the same time she needs someone she can trust and someone who can read her and knows what she needs. I watched you at the mission. You are very good at reading others and you are pretty good in holding back at the moments you need to. You instantly knew that she had a bad past with the 'chu line. That is the main reason why I would like you to be her mate. But you also have a Plusle as sister. I think you already know the most things Plusle need just because of that. She often lets me speak for her. But soon... Well I will probably have a mate myself soon and then I won't be able to take so much care of her as I used to till now... It would be good if she had someone she could trust.\"\nKiiro looked to Sammy for a moment. \"Is that true? I mean is that what you want?\"\nSammy widely blushed and tried to look at him but stared back to the ground instead. Then she nodded slightly.\nSam smiled calmly. \"Like I said. She is shy. But the thing she needs the most right now is someone who goes the path she is going with her. Someone who can support her in this time and someone who can show her that breeding is not a bad thing. I mean sure I could do it too... We are twins and our bonds are very strong... Stronger than those of most normal siblings. I wouldn't even mind breeding with her... And even though there are no rules in the guild against it I would rather prefer not to. Not only because it is frowned upon and because it could damage the social image of our team but mostly because it could damage her. She already has problems open up to others. It wasn't very uncommon for siblings to breed with each other if they are horny enough, naming if the female was in heat, but it was still seen as something not so good.\nSam smiled. \"OK. I wouldn't even care for that myself but you should also think on yourself. If you don't feel comfortable with it you should maybe not do it. It is your life and you should live it the way you feel like it is best for you. That's fine. Can't blame you that you don't want to talk to someone who is basically a stranger to you.\"\nShe squeaked. \"N-No it's fine.\" She looked down embarrassed. \"I just don't know what to say...\"\nSam still smiled. He always smiled after all. \"You don't need to say anything if you don't want to. I won't judge you.\"\nShe nodded and looked to him. \"You are always smiling... How are you able to always smile in a world like this?\"\nHe spilled some tea. This actually surprised him. He rarely gets surprised by something but this actually got him. He looked to the ceiling. This time he didn't smile. He looked thoughtful. \"I have no idea to be honest. Maybe it is to cheer everyone around me up... Maybe it is to cheer myself up. I think it is just a facade. Just something to make this place a bit better but in truth it is just something fake...\"\nShe looked to him. \"I think your smile is sad but beautiful. Even if it is fake it is something wonderful. Who knows... Maybe it will be true one day. Something you don't have to pretend...\"\nSam looked to her now. It was the first time he really saw her now. He looked right into her bright red eyes. This was rare. In fact it never happened before. For him everyone was just a tool. He wasn't any better than the bandits or any other criminal in that way. He only cared for his sister and would do anything and use anyone to do what is necessary to make sure she was fine. He always just saw through others. For him they were not of any interest. For him it was like if they weren't really existent. But this Plusle was. He didn't see through Orenjii he actually saw her. She was there. She was existent. \"I didn't notice how beautiful your eyes are...\"\nOrenjii widely blushed and squeaked cutely. She grabbed her ears and tried to hide her face with them.\nHe smiled. \"You are doing the exact same thing as my sister does. I think it is cute.\"\nShe squeaked and shook her head.\nSam giggled. \"You don't need to be embarrassed. A compliment is something good.\"\nShe tried to look at him. \"Please... It is embarrassing...\"\nSam smiled. It was a different smile. It was a smile that he normally only showed his sister. It was a true smile from his heart. \"You know? If Kiiro and Sammy become mates we probably will see each other more often in future.\"\nShe looked down. She seemed to calm down a bit again. \"I would like that...\"\nHe raised an eyebrow. \"You would?\"\nShe blushed again and nodded. \"Y-Yeah...\"\nHe smiled and playfully nudged her cheek with his nose. \"I would like that too. It would give me the opportunity to speak to you more often and learn more about you... Damn it what the hell did he do that you did this now?\"\nThe female Pikachu who came through the hole now was rubbing her fist in anticipation glaring at Sam. \"Oh you know damn well what he did.\" She slowly walked towards the Minun looking like if she wanted to punch him again.\nSammy jumped to her feet ran to Kathrin and slapped her. \"Sarah stop!\"\nThe female Pikachu stopped and looked to the Plusle and gulped. \"Sorry...\"\n\"Uhm... It started pretty innocent with doctor games but soon I went farther and tried out more with a neighbor female around my age. I started to flirt with all females around my age and some younger ones trying every trick in the box to get under their tails and to be honest I had a lot success with that. I held a low profile tho being careful so my words wouldn't get to my parents mostly fucking females farther away from our home. Of course one got word of what happened and that one happened to be Sarah. As I came home after she heard of what I did I got the beating of my life till that moment. She tried to set me straight but smartass me just tried to fly under her radar. It ended up getting harsher punishment from her every time she heard about it. It needed my sister nearly getting raped by a Raichu about half a year ago for me to realize what I was doing to get to the conclusion that I am not much better and finally stopped.\" He sighed and looked to Orenjii. \"I can understand if you don't want to be together with me anymore but I hope you still think that Pokémon can change and believe me when I say that I did change.\"\nOrenjii looked to him for a moment but then smiled. \"I think the Sam you were is different from the Sam you are now.\"\nSam smiled. Sam himself was pretty good at the piano since he learned it as soon as he could sit himself long enough on a chair to learn how to play. Unlike his sister who was a genius at the violin he had to train it hard to get to the point he was now. Then they played some time till they decided it was late and she wanted home. So he decided to bring her home so she would get there safely. \nSam smiled and looked to Orenjii. \"Well... The street is wet and easy to slip on.\" He then casually walked on like if he didn't care if Jake would try to attack him again.\nSure enough Jake tried to attack him again and again and again always with the same outcome. Every time just getting more angry.\nIn the end Jake tried a Toxic move but Sam just dodged again. \"You should watch out there that you don't hit someone with that. Do you want a tea now or not? I need to go inside.\" Then he looked up to the sky. \"And you should decide because it will rain soon so you either want to get inside or go home probably.\"\nHe gritted his teeth again. \"Who the fuck decided that you would become my sis' mate?\"\nSam smiled calmly. \"She decided that. Also you should stop that habit. Before the incident they shared a room with two beds but since then she wanted to have a room alone. Sam guessed because she didn't want him to see her crying in the night but he heard her every night. He didn't tell her that because he didn't want to make her feel more uncomfortable than she already was from the situation. \"How are you?\"\nSammy was sitting on a table reading a book. \"I am fine.\"\nSam went over to her and nuzzled her. \"If there is anything just tell me.\"\nShe nodded. \"What is all the commotion outside about?\"\nSam grinned. \"Jake decided to follow me home and now I will speak with him.\" He saw her worried look as she heard his answer. \"Don't worry. He calmly went into the dining room where Sarah was already placing everything for three cups of tea while Jake seemed to inspect the hole in the wall.\nJake looked over his shoulder as he heard the door open with a bit puzzled face. \"How did that happen?\"\nSam chuckled. \"Well Sarah here is somewhat of a construction and demolition crew at the same time and she loves to decorate using me as wrecking ball.\"\nSarah rolled her eyes.\nJake looked to him now more confused. \"What do you mean?\"\nSam sat down at the table. \"Thanks. Why three cups?\"\nSarah looked to him sternly. \"I will stay too and I want a cup as well.\" She then took a fourth cup. \"I will just bring Sammy one real quick.\"\nSam smiled and nodded and then went back to Jake. \"Well... when Sarah sees or hears something she doesn't like that involves me then her normal reaction is to punch me through a wall or two.\" He shrugged.\nJake looked bewildered by the casual way Sam said it. He slowly sat down looking at Sam. \"One reason more to not want you to be Orenjii's mate. You should come with some good arguments not lies. You would have broken bones from that.\"\nSam grinned. \"No really. You can ask her yourself. Or Orenjii if you want. The more important thing is what I already told Orenjii about myself. I have quiet a history with females but long story short I learned my lesson. One and a half week later it was confirmed. Sammy was pregnant with an egg. She was lucky that she wasn't in heat or it would maybe have been more. Of course she didn't want to keep it but she decided that she would lay the egg at least. She wouldn't dare to take their life. Actually there were three reasons. The first one was that the civilized Pokémon kind was at the brink of extinction and every life mattered no matter how they came to exist. The second reason was that the egg wasn't fault for what happened and even though she didn't want to be remembered by it every day what happened to her it was innocent itself. It was already hard enough for her to not remember what happened due to her mind remembering every little bit she ever saw, heard, tasted, or overall sensed. She would have to put a lot of effort into pushing these memories as deep away into the deepest part of her mind to not think about it so she would have to give the egg away or she would probably not be able to do that, no matter how innocent the child that would hatch from the egg was. But the third reason was the one that worried Sammy the most and yet it was the most important to her. She felt something for the egg. She wanted it. She wanted to lay it. She knew what this feeling was and yet she wanted to deny it. It was her motherly instincts. Of course she knew it was not really motherly feelings but more the instinct to repopulate and to make sure her species would survive. She wanted to deny that she felt these feelings for the egg but she couldn't. She knew the feelings emerged from her instincts and yet she couldn't help but wanting it. She wanted these feelings she just didn't want these feelings for this egg that was made that horrible day.
Sam looked to his sister. "You are thinking about it again aren't you?"
Sammy squeaked. "W-What do you mean?"
He sighed. "You are looking down to your belly and stroke it all the time. You are struggling about your feelings aren't you?"
Sammy blushed and took her hands off her belly. She nodded nervously.
Sam looked to her for a moment. "You know? I was worried that you might have trouble getting into the breeding program but now that I see you having these troubles with this eggs it shows me that you won't have so much problems after all. You will just have to find someone that can help you with overcoming your fear after what happened to you. If you find someone you can trust and maybe even love then you will surely have no problems with the breeding program. And who knows... maybe you will even be able to enjoy it."
Sammy looked to her brother a bit frustrated. "But who could I trust after all this?"
Sam tilted his head. "Well... Kiiro was very kind and even though I would wish that someone who isn't from the 'chu line could help you with that I would trust him enough to help you with that. He would maybe even be able to help you overcoming the fear of the 'chu line."
She looked down nervously.
Sam nuzzled her softly. "That is just an idea. We can think of other ways too." He softly stroked her cheek. "You know I would do everything for you."
Sammy nodded still looking down.
He smiled. "I mean if it would help you I would offer you to be the one that shows you what a wonderful thing it can be to breed."
Sammy widely blushed. "S-Sam!"
Sam chuckled. "It is actually not as uncommon as it seems. The guild doesn't like it much but they are not against incest as long as it is not over several generations. They want to make sure the genes are strong after all. But even without that... right now you are already pregnant. You can't get more pregnant."
Sammy blushed and looked down. The thought actually didn't make her feel uncomfortable. Sure it was a strange thought but she knew her brother knew her better than anyone and he would be careful to only do what she wanted.
Then someone knocked at the door and Sammy was taken out of her thoughts.
Sam went to open the door. He was a bit surprised to see Orenjii and Kiiro but he just smiled like always. He trained his whole life to keep up this smile even in the worst situations. He learned fast that a smile can make others feel better even if he himself didn't feel that way.
Kiiro sighed. "We heard the news... How is she?"
Sam looked over his shoulder to his sister. "She has a lot to think about but for the moment she is OK."
Orenjii was close to cry. "I-I am so sorry... S-She said that she wanted to be the first... S-She only said that to save me..."
Sam was a bit surprised by that. Not even Sammy had told him that. He sighed and nodded. "Come in. I think it's better if we talk inside."
Kiiro looked to him nervously. "Are you sure? I mean I am a Pikachu and Orenjii maybe remembers her to-"
"She has hyperthymesia together with an eidetic memory what means that she can always remember basically everything. She will never forget what happened and will constantly be reminded to this moment by the smallest things. At the moment her thoughts about the egg inside her already do that so you two won't do anything worse to her. Actually Kiiro I am hoping that you will be able to help her with that in future so I would even go as far as to ask you to try to get closer to her. If she would be able to open up to you she will maybe not only be able to overcome the fear of 'chus but also be able to overcome the situation that she is in now. So please come in. There are a lot of things to talk about."
Sammy shivered a bit. She heard what Sam said and even though he was right she somehow felt uncomfortable.
Sam led them inside and they sat down at the table. As he passed by Sammy he whispered to her: "One step after the other. Like always." He then went to the kitchen. "I will make some tea. Please don't talk with her till I am back. It is already a good step if she doesn't run away." He then let them alone.
Kiiro and Orenjii felt awkward. They sat still and looked at each other. They wanted to say something but since Sam told them not to they kept quiet.
Sammy looked to them for a moment before she looked down again nervously.
After five awkward minutes Sam came back with a tea kettle and four cups. He poured everyone some tea in before he sat down himself. "OK. to make long story short... Orenjii and Kiiro you both are not fault for anything. You have done your best and things happen." He clinched his fist signing that he was still angry that he couldn't help before it was too late. "So please don't worry too much about it. Sammy you are thinking the same right?"
Sammy nodded still looking down nervously.
Sam looked to Kiiro and Orenjii.
They looked to Sammy still feeling a bit awkward not knowing what to say to her.
Sam sighed. "Good. Now to the point I would like to talk with you about Kiiro. I would like to ask you if you would be willing to become Sammy's mate."
Both Kiiro and Orenjii looked at him with agape mouths.
Sammy squeaked nervously.
Kiiro was the first to speak. "Wait... What? Why me? I mean... I am a Pikachu. Wouldn't that be something like the worst case scenario?"
Sam shook his head. "Actually it would be the best thing to do here. Of course she will need some time to adjust to you first but once she learned that she doesn't need to fear you you would be the best partner for her. She is shy and sometimes need someone who push her forward but at the same time she needs someone she can trust and someone who can read her and knows what she needs. I watched you at the mission. You are very good at reading others and you are pretty good in holding back at the moments you need to. You instantly knew that she had a bad past with the 'chu line. That is the main reason why I would like you to be her mate. But you also have a Plusle as sister. I think you already know the most things Plusle need just because of that. And last but not least..." He looked to his sister. "It seems as if she likes you. Or at least she seems interested into you. Otherwise she wouldn't be able to stay in the same room as you for longer than a minute."
Sammy squeaked and looked to Sam. "SAM!" She looked down nervously.
Sam chuckled. "You really think I didn't notice?" He smiled and looked to Kiiro. "Don't think that is something I decided. She often lets me speak for her. But soon... Well I will probably have a mate myself soon and then I won't be able to take so much care of her as I used to till now... It would be good if she had someone she could trust."
Kiiro looked to Sammy for a moment. "Is that true? I mean is that what you want?"
Sammy widely blushed and tried to look at him but stared back to the ground instead. Then she nodded slightly.
Sam smiled calmly. "Like I said. She is shy. But the thing she needs the most right now is someone who goes the path she is going with her. Someone who can support her in this time and someone who can show her that breeding is not a bad thing. I mean sure I could do it too... We are twins and our bonds are very strong... Stronger than those of most normal siblings. I wouldn't even mind breeding with her... And even though there are no rules in the guild against it I would rather prefer not to. Not only because it is frowned upon and because it could damage the social image of our team but mostly because it could damage her. She already has problems open up to others. She barely talks to anyone except our family... If I would now also take the part of her mate that would... make everything just worse."
Kiiro looked at the Minun. He could understand it. It was true. It wasn't very uncommon for siblings to breed with each other if they are horny enough, naming if the female was in heat, but it was still seen as something not so good.
Sam smiled. "OK. Orenjii? would you please come with me? I think it would be a good idea to let them talk in private for a bit."
Sammy squeaked and looked to him. "S-Sam?"
Orenjii blushed a bit and looked to them.
Sam smiled. "If you don't talk with him it would look like if I am just deciding for you. You just need to talk with him. Also I will be right next room so don't worry too much."
Sammy looked down a bit nervous.
Kiiro looked to Sam. "Do you think it is a good idea?"
Sam smiled. "You don't need to do anything. I would even prefer if you would take your time with her. She just needs to open up to you and you need to hear these things from her mouth not from mine." He stood up and took his tea before he looked to Orenjii.
The other Plusle blushed and stood up taking her tea with her as she followed Sam out of the room.
Kiiro looked to Sammy.
Sammy looked down nervously.
Kiiro sighed. "OK this is awkward... I know you probably fear me right now so... I don't know... What is your opinion about all this?"
Sammy flattened her ears. "I-I..." She looked to him for a second before she looked down again. "I-I t-think he is r-right... I d-do fear the 'chu line b-but... I s-somehow have to get over that..."
Now Kiiro was nervous. "Yeah, sure... But do you think that is the right way? I mean is that really what you want?"
Sammy nodded slowly. "Y-Yeah... I want a mate..." She stroked her belly slowly. "I feel... I feel like this is right... I want this but not the way it happened... I want this to be in a way that I can be fully happy about it... Without being constantly reminded at so horrible things every time I look at my child..."
He sighed. "I can understand that but is it really me you want as mate?"
Sammy looked to him now. Her eyes showed that she was certain. "Yes... Like my brother said... You would be a good mate... You could help me overcome with my fear of the 'chu line and most of all... I-I" She looked down again now blushing red like a tamato berry. "I-I kinda like you... I-I mean you are attractive and strong a-and nice... I..."
Kiiro was taken aback by that a bit he blushed a bit and smiled sheepish. "You mean you really like me?"
She blushed even more and couldn't look him in the eyes anymore. "B-But... You surely don't like me right? I mean you try to convince me to not want you as mate... You probably don't want me as mate and I can't blame you... After all I am not beautiful and I am not strong... You are dragged into my mess and I can understand it if you don't want me as your mate..."
Again Kiiro was surprised. "What the fuck are you talking there? You are attractive, cute and you are so goddamn smart that it baffles me. How could you say that you are someone I couldn't want as mate? No. I wouldn't hesitate to take you as my mate if it would be only that. The thing is what happened to you scarred you for life. I wouldn't even care for that myself but you should also think on yourself. If you don't feel comfortable with it you should maybe not do it. It is your life and you should live it the way you feel like it is best for you. I just think that I could remember you to some things you don't want to be remembered on."
Sammy nearly cried. "B-But I-I want you as my mate!"
Kiiro nearly fell over. "You want?"
She nodded and looked down blushing. She hugged her ears and giggled happily.
He smiled. He had seen this behavior from his sister. She always acted like that when she was happy about something but was too shy to show others.



Sam sighed and stretched himself. "I am sorry I basically dragged you out of there but I think it is the best they sort that out without us interfering."
Orenjii nodded and blushed a bit.
He looked to her. "Are you OK?"
She nodded again.
He smiled. "You don't wanna talk? That's fine. Can't blame you that you don't want to talk to someone who is basically a stranger to you."
She squeaked. "N-No it's fine." She looked down embarrassed. "I just don't know what to say..."
Sam still smiled. He always smiled after all. "You don't need to say anything if you don't want to. I won't judge you."
She nodded and looked to him. "You are always smiling... How are you able to always smile in a world like this?"
He spilled some tea. This actually surprised him. He rarely gets surprised by something but this actually got him. He looked to the ceiling. This time he didn't smile. He looked thoughtful. "I have no idea to be honest. Maybe it is to cheer everyone around me up... Maybe it is to cheer myself up. I think it is just a facade. Just something to make this place a bit better but in truth it is just something fake..."
She looked to him. "I think your smile is sad but beautiful. Even if it is fake it is something wonderful. Who knows... Maybe it will be true one day. Something you don't have to pretend..."
Sam looked to her now. It was the first time he really saw her now. He looked right into her bright red eyes. This was rare. In fact it never happened before. For him everyone was just a tool. He wasn't any better than the bandits or any other criminal in that way. He only cared for his sister and would do anything and use anyone to do what is necessary to make sure she was fine. He always just saw through others. For him they were not of any interest. For him it was like if they weren't really existent. But this Plusle was. He didn't see through Orenjii he actually saw her. She was there. She was existent. "I didn't notice how beautiful your eyes are..."
Orenjii widely blushed and squeaked cutely. She grabbed her ears and tried to hide her face with them.
He smiled. "You are doing the exact same thing as my sister does. I think it is cute."
She squeaked and shook her head.
Sam giggled. "You don't need to be embarrassed. A compliment is something good."
She tried to look at him. "Please... It is embarrassing..."
Sam smiled. It was a different smile. It was a smile that he normally only showed his sister. It was a true smile from his heart. "You know? If Kiiro and Sammy become mates we probably will see each other more often in future."
She looked down. She seemed to calm down a bit again. "I would like that..."
He raised an eyebrow. "You would?"
She blushed again and nodded. "Y-Yeah..."
He smiled and playfully nudged her cheek with his nose. "I would like that too. It would give me the opportunity to speak to you more often and learn more about you... Maybe I will even have the chance to win you over as my mate." He winked.
She blushed even more and looked down nervously. "Would you really want me as your mate?"
He chuckled. "Of course I would. You are cute and I like you."
Orenjii looked to the Minun. "Y-You like me? B-But why? I am nothing special..."
Sam chuckled. "Oh you have no idea how special you are. I think you are the one who can make me smile again. I mean you already made me smile a real smile and I think with you I can be happy. That is something really special to me."
She blushed and looked down again.
He smiled and nuzzled her softly. "You really should be more confident. You have more to offer than you think. You always see the good in someone and that is something that is really rare in this world and much more worth than the offsprings I could breed with you. Not that I would mind. I would love if you would let me breed with you."
She blushed. "R-Really?"
He smiled. "Yeah."
She widely blushed and looked to him now with a serious face. "I-I want that too... I-I want to have you as my mate..."
He looked to her. "Are you really sure about it? To be totally honest with you I only see others as tools. Even you and your brother. You two were only tools for me to make my sister happy again. I mean sure... something changed and you are different to me now. I don't see you as a tool but as someone who I could be happy with. I see you as a Pokémon now but that still doesn't change how I looked at you before..."
She nodded still blushed but looking at him. "Many Pokémon think so in this world I think... It is partially necessary to survive... But Pokémon can change... A-And I... A-As you saved us... I-I... I fell in love with you..." She blushed bright like a tamato berry.
Sam smiled and nuzzled her. "This is the reason I like you so much. You seem to find something good in me. I gave up on myself already and my sister was the only Pokémon important to me. I wanted to protect her and save her from my fate to see how lost this world is but you... You make me feel as if there is still hope for this world... That is was I love about you."
She looked to him with big eyes. "R-Really?"
He smiled and kissed her softly.
"Am I interrupting something?"
Sam squeaked and turned around in shock. "Hey Sarah... Uhm..."

For a while there was an awkward silence between Sammy and Kiiro and Kiiro already asked himself what he should do or say. He didn't know how to act towards her after they talked about how they felt because everything he said could ruin it. He looked to her and unsure about what to do or to say he didn't react at first as someone broke through the wall flying through the room into the opposite wall. He blinked and slowly looked to the side to see Sam sitting leaning at the wall rubbing his head before Orenjii came jumping through the new hole running to Sam. "Sam! Everything OK?"
Surprisingly it was Sammy who raised her voice. "Sarah! Damn it what the hell did he do that you did this now?"
The female Pikachu who came through the hole now was rubbing her fist in anticipation glaring at Sam. "Oh you know damn well what he did." She slowly walked towards the Minun looking like if she wanted to punch him again.
Sammy jumped to her feet ran to Kathrin and slapped her. "Sarah stop!"
The female Pikachu stopped and looked to the Plusle and gulped. "Sorry..."
"Uhm... What's going on here?" Kiiro looked at them confused.
Sarah gave him a death glare. "What is a Pikachu doing-"
Sammy glared her down and with so much authority in her voice that it sent shivers down Kiiro's spine she yelled at Sarah. "Shut up and sit down!"
Sarah sighed and went to the table sitting down.
Then Sammy glared at Sam. "Now stop acting and stand up already. I know that you can take much more than that. There wasn't even enough power in her punch to make you scratch the second wall." She then walked to the table and sat down herself before sighing.
Sam stood up and stretched himself before he walked towards the wall. "This time you will have to come up with the money to fix that. I will make some tea."
Before Kiiro or Orenjii could say something he disappeared through the hole again.
Orenjii seemed as confused as Kiiro and wanted to follow him. "I will help you."
"Sit down. We have to talk Plusle." Sarah looked to her but not angry but more concerned.
Orenjii squeaked and did as told. "my name is Orenjii not Plusle..."
Sammy still glared Sarah down. "That is the third wall this year..."
Kiiro was still totally confused. "Uhm..."
Again Sarah gave him a death glare earning a punch on her head from Sammy for that. "Stop it. He is fine." Sammy sighed and looked to her and then to Kiiro now more nervous. "I am sorry... She i-is not very fond of males... especially male Pikachus after what happened to me..."
Kiiro looked to the female Pikachu nervous. "I am Kiiro. I really don't want to harm you or Sammy..."
Sammy looked to Sarah. "Yeah and he will be my mate so get it in your head."
Sarah looked to Sammy surprised. "Wait... What?"
Sam came back now through the door with a tea pot and more tea cups. "You heard her. Now to me and Orenjii. I didn't intend to play with her. I learned my lesson and you were clear enough last time. I want her as my mate as long as she wants it too." He put everything on the table and poured some tea into the cups. "I am not a child anymore and I am serious this time." He sat down and took a sip.
Sarah looked from one to the other. "I am not here for half a day and all this crap happens?"
Sam glared at her this time. "This is no crap. We both mean it. Also we would have to join the breeding program anyways so why are you now flipping out about this?"
Sarah still couldn't believe it.
Kiiro looked to Sam. "May I ask what the hell you meant with you want Orenjii as your mate?"
Orenjii blushed. "Kiiro it is fine I want him as my mate too..."
Kiiro looks to her for a moment before he sighed. "OK fine... But I won't tell Jake..."
Orenjii looked down nervously.
Sam looked to them. "Who is Jake?"
Kiiro sighed again. "Our brother. Much like Sarah here he is pretty much over protective over Orenjii and... well let's say he doesn't take shit. If you wanna have her as your mate you gonna have to fight him over her and that will be a bad fight..."
Sam rolled his eyes. "Orenjii is not some kind of prize to fight over." He took Orenjii's hand. "But if i have to I will kick his ass as much as he wants."
Kiiro shrugged. "Well since I saw you in action I don't doubt that you are strong but he is not to be underestimated... He is an Emolga and a strong one at that. He actually never lost a fight..."
Sarah shrugged. "Sam never lost a real fight neither. Yeah I punched him through several walls in his life but he never lost a real fight against me when we train."
Sam smiled. "I would prefer to talk with him before we fight. Maybe we can solve that without a fight."
Orenjii looked to him nervously. "Please be careful Sam... Jake doesn't like talking... He says a real male sees the intentions of another male by exchanging some blows..."
Sam sighed. "Well maybe I can talk some sense into him. Wouldn't be the first one."
Sarah chimed in again. "This is all fancy and all but before you claim her as your mate you have to tell her everything about your past tho. You know what I mean."
Sam sighed and scratched his chin. "I know..."
Kiiro looked to Sam. "What do you mean?"
Sam sighed again before he took a sip of his tea and smiled again calmly. "I have a bit of a dumb past with females but please bear with me. I was about half a year old as everything started. You see I have a very active libido. It is so bad in fact that I started trying under female's tails as I was already half a year old. It started pretty innocent with doctor games but soon I went farther and tried out more with a neighbor female around my age. Of course she didn't want to and as their parents noticed they stopped me before worse could happen. Of course I got some trouble from my parents and some pretty stern words from Sarah here." He moved his hand signing to the female Pikachu. "They basically explained me everything and told me to never do this against the female's will. The smug and smart kid I was I of course understood but also quickly worked a loophole for that. I started to flirt with all females around my age and some younger ones trying every trick in the box to get under their tails and to be honest I had a lot success with that. I held a low profile tho being careful so my words wouldn't get to my parents mostly fucking females farther away from our home. Of course one got word of what happened and that one happened to be Sarah. As I came home after she heard of what I did I got the beating of my life till that moment. She tried to set me straight but smartass me just tried to fly under her radar. It ended up getting harsher punishment from her every time she heard about it. It needed my sister nearly getting raped by a Raichu about half a year ago for me to realize what I was doing to get to the conclusion that I am not much better and finally stopped." He sighed and looked to Orenjii. "I can understand if you don't want to be together with me anymore but I hope you still think that Pokémon can change and believe me when I say that I did change."
Orenjii looked to him for a moment but then smiled. "I think the Sam you were is different from the Sam you are now."
Sam smiled. It was again a true smile. "You know? I am always surprised by how much faith you have in this world. Here I am telling you about the darker times of my past and could lie all the time and yet you have faith in the good part of me."
Kiiro looked at Sam. "I am not so sure tho. How could we know this isn't another of your 'tricks' as you named it?"
Sam smiled calmly. "Well first of all I want you to be Sammy's mate. It would be kinda unproductive if I would use a trick here as we would probably meet a lot in the future if not on a nearly daily bases. On the second side we have Sarah here." He glanced to the Pikachu who seemed to have just listened and eyed him calmly. "I doubt she would sit still if I would fall back to my old habits."
Sarah grinned an evil grin. "True."

Sam and Orenjii were on their way to Orenjii's and Kiiro's house. Kiiro had left earlier after a longer talk with Sarah till he finally was happy with her answers about how she would punish Sam if he would fall back to old habits. Sam and Orenjii on their side used the time to talk more about themselves. Sam found out about Orenjii that she was quiet talented with several instruments. Sam himself was pretty good at the piano since he learned it as soon as he could sit himself long enough on a chair to learn how to play. Unlike his sister who was a genius at the violin he had to train it hard to get to the point he was now. Then they played some time till they decided it was late and she wanted home. So he decided to bring her home so she would get there safely.
Sam smiled and looked to Orenjii. "Well... This is the good bye then." He kissed her hand before he winked her. "But not for long I promise. I will come around tomorrow and maybe we can go out on a date if you want to."
Orenjii blushed and nodded. "I would love that."
"And who do you think you are to flirt with my sis?"
Sam looked up to see an Emolga. He smiled calmly. "You must be Jake. My name is Samuel or Sam for my friends. I have to go home now to make sure my sister is fine but we can talk tomorrow if you like. I bid my good bye." Then he turned to go.
The Emolga gritted his teeth. "Hey I am talking to you right now!" He charged to attack Sam.
Orenjii squeaked. "Sam!"
But Sam was already faster. He stepped aside with speed that was so fast that it looked like if he teleported and Jake landed in the mud. "You should watch out where you step. The street is wet and easy to slip on." He then casually walked on like if he didn't care if Jake would try to attack him again.
Sure enough Jake tried to attack him again and again and again always with the same outcome. Every time just getting more angry.
In the end Jake tried a Toxic move but Sam just dodged again. "You should watch out there that you don't hit someone with that. It could leave some nasty injuries."
This made Jake just more furious and he attacked Sam again and again till he was finally out of stamina. "Stop god damn it!"
Sam smiled calmly as he turned around. "See. I don't like to fight if not necessary but if you really want to we can but not now. My sister is going through some rough time and I need to be there for her if there isn't someone else. So please excuse me but I am home now. I would invite you to a tea if you promise to not attack me or destroy anything inside. It's already hard enough to have enough money for Sarah's outrages when she throws me through a wall again." He looked to Jake for some seconds awaiting an answer.
Jake took some deep breaths trying to get some air before he stared angrily at Sam. "Who the fuck are you anyways?"
Sam smiled. "I am Orenjii's future mate. Do you want a tea now or not? I need to go inside." Then he looked up to the sky. "And you should decide because it will rain soon so you either want to get inside or go home probably."
He gritted his teeth again. "Who the fuck decided that you would become my sis' mate?"
Sam smiled calmly. "She decided that. Also you should stop that habit. It is bad for your teeth and dentists are scarce these days."
He grumbled. "That's my problem and nobody becomes my sis' mate before I don't 'speak' with them."
The Minun opened the door. "Then let's speak about this over a cup of tea." He stepped inside leaving the door open.
Jake growled and followed him.
"Who is that now?" Sarah glared at the Emolga.
Sam waved his hand. "This is Jake. He wants to talk with me about Orenjii. How is Sammy?"
Sarah sighed. "As fine as she can be."
Sam nodded and went towards Sammy's room. "Jake please wait in the dining room. I will be there shortly after looking after my sister. Sarah could you please heat some water and bring it to us?"
Sarah scoffed and gave him a glance.
Sam sighed. "I would appreciate it."
Sarah rolled her eyes and went towards the kitchen but not without giving a warning glare towards the Emolga.
Jake gritted his teeth again and went into the room Sam pointed him.
Sam smiled calmly as he went into his sister's room. Before the incident they shared a room with two beds but since then she wanted to have a room alone. Sam guessed because she didn't want him to see her crying in the night but he heard her every night. He didn't tell her that because he didn't want to make her feel more uncomfortable than she already was from the situation. "How are you?"
Sammy was sitting on a table reading a book. "I am fine."
Sam went over to her and nuzzled her. "If there is anything just tell me."
She nodded. "What is all the commotion outside about?"
Sam grinned. "Jake decided to follow me home and now I will speak with him." He saw her worried look as she heard his answer. "Don't worry. Sarah is here and he wasn't even able to land a hit as I walked home so everything will be fine."
Sammy sighed and nodded again before continuing to read. "Please be polite with him."
Sam smiled as he turned and went towards the door. "I am always polite."
She rolled her eyes. "You know what I mean."
Sam just chuckled and left the room. He calmly went into the dining room where Sarah was already placing everything for three cups of tea while Jake seemed to inspect the hole in the wall.
Jake looked over his shoulder as he heard the door open with a bit puzzled face. "How did that happen?"
Sam chuckled. "Well Sarah here is somewhat of a construction and demolition crew at the same time and she loves to decorate using me as wrecking ball."
Sarah rolled her eyes.
Jake looked to him now more confused. "What do you mean?"
Sam sat down at the table. "Thanks. Why three cups?"
Sarah looked to him sternly. "I will stay too and I want a cup as well." She then took a fourth cup. "I will just bring Sammy one real quick."
Sam smiled and nodded and then went back to Jake. "Well... when Sarah sees or hears something she doesn't like that involves me then her normal reaction is to punch me through a wall or two." He shrugged.
Jake looked bewildered by the casual way Sam said it. He slowly sat down looking at Sam. "One reason more to not want you to be Orenjii's mate. You should come with some good arguments not lies. You would have broken bones from that."
Sam grinned. "No really. You can ask her yourself. Or Orenjii if you want. She witnessed it."
Jake looked to him. "Why didn't you dodge her like you dodged me?"
Sam shrugged. "Would make her only more angry and she would probably demolish the whole house then. Also I am used to it and got pretty sturdy thanks to it."
Jake looked to him a bit flabbagasted.
Sam just smiled as always. "I thought you wanted to talk about something else."
Jake looked to him smugly. "I want to know you better and it is not your business what I ask to get the info I want."
Sarah glared at him. "Watch your mouth there. It is very well his business if you want to get into his and Orenjii's ways."
Jake looked to her growling. "And who the fuck are you to talk to me like that?"
She growled back. "The one ripping you a new one if you disrespect one of my siblings."
Sam sighed. "Please stop it Sarah. I can fight my own battles."
Jake grinned. "Yeah better know your place fe-"
Sam interrupted him. "You know she is the one punching me through walls on a regular basis right?"
Jake stopped and looked to her gulping before he caught himself and glared at Sam again. "Fine fine."
Sarah glared at him ready to punch him but held back.
Sam looked at Jake. "How about we talk now?"
Jake glared at him for a moment before he sighed. "Who the fuck are you anyways?"
Sam smiled calmly. "I am Samuel Spark. I am an explorer and researcher for the guild. Me and my sister are born to a pretty small family and our family owns the inn the street down. In our childhood our parents noticed that we are different and let the guild check us and that's when they found out that we both are genius. My sister has hyperthymesia together with an eidetic memory what is to explain it easy the ability to remember really everything she sees or experiences. I on the other hand have a super tactical mind that thinks a lot faster than normal. I mean a real lot. while I am thinking everything around me is like moving in slow motion. This would have gotten us into the guild easily without joining the breeding program but we still accepted joining it for the same reason it is created:to make sure the civilized Pokémon kind wouldn't go extinct. To come why I move so fast: I took a lot, and I mean a LOT, carbon while growing. It was an amount that would have caused trouble for most Pokémon but since my brain thinks faster than others it can keep up with the speed. So now if I concentrate on it I can move as fast as lightning only rivaled by Prince Brighton. well but that is rather unimportant for you I guess. The more important thing is what I already told Orenjii about myself. I have quiet a history with females but long story short I learned my lesson. Sarah was part of what set me straight and I wouldn't dare to play with hearts like I did back then."
Jake grumbled. "Another reason why I won't let you near my sister."
Sam smiled calmly. "I think it is her decision but try your best to stop me."
Jake grunted. "If you would fight fair you wouldn't stay a chance."
Sarah chuckled. "You are funny if you think you would stand a chance."
He rolled his eyes. "If you think I would be beaten in a fair fight against someone getting beaten up by you that easily then you are wrong."
Sarah glared at him. "Careful there. You are a mere fly to me and Sam is able to beat me in seconds if we would fight serious. He just doesn't like fighting."
Jake looked at her for a moment dumbfounded but quickly remained composure. "Oh yeah? Do you really think I believe it if he wouldn't proof it?"
Within the blink of an eye Sam stood behind Jake holding something at Jake's throat. "I thought you would be more careful if you say this. I wasn't even really trying."
Jake gulped. "I wasn't ready..."
Sam grinned. "Oh and how would that be different in a real fight?" He stepped back letting the Trump Card in his hand dissolve.
Jake glared at him. "I will show you if you go against me in a real fight."
Sam sighed. "If you really must..." He slowly walked towards the door. "Come to the backyard."
