Thieves Chapter 22 - The L Word After the long, cold train ride and the restful night in a warm bed, Sis and Jack found themselves walking the land roads again. They didn't need to take a route through the forest again, and neither was the rope for Sis required anymore. Jack had said, they were pretty close to the northern territories already, and the tolerance for short ones raised the farther they got north now. They still were in a dangerous region and in one that legally allowed slavery, but as long as Sis behaved like a slave, while other people were around, they wouldn't get odd looks. A human, accompanied by a servant, wasn't too strange in this area. Walking the roads had its good sides too. For one, they got along far more quickly than across country. They also had less of an orientation problem. And actually, the streets were not that frequented during the winter months. They were alone on the road, most of the day. Though, to rest for the night, they retreated into the nearest spot of modest vegetation. With enough routine by now, the tent was set up fast and fox and human were soon ready to sleep. Only that human wasn't ready to sleep yet. THIS CHAPTER WAS CENSORED! SEE DESCRIPTION FOR MORE INFOS!
