It would be a while still before any of them could have a Pokemon of there very own, the law requiring that a child had to be at least 10 years old before they could get there Pokemon license and have their very own Pokemon. Junior Pokemon Camp was for children between the ages of 6 and 8 and served to introduce them to the basics of Pokemon care and raising without any focus on battling, which would come later when they could go to regular Pokemon Camp when they were 9 and 10 years old. At Junior Pokemon Camp the kids learned what diverse types of Pokemon ate and how to look after them. Making sure the Pokemon were clean and warm at night for bedtime and what to do in an emergency if they could not be taken to a Pokemon Center. They learned how to be friends with them as that after all was the foundation for any Pokemon Trainer. \n\nEach camper was assigned a Pokemon at the beginning of the week to look after with supervision from the counselors. However, the Pokemon could not be taken back to the campers' cabins with them at night so as to not draw to much attachment over the course of the week that the camp was going on. The campers were assigned cabin mates though, sometimes four to a cabin but often times two to a cabin if possible. This year was the first year for two boys, Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town and Goh, a six-year-old boy from Vermillion City. Both boys were part of the same group, a group housing about 6 to 10 kids each. At the new camper orientation Ash and Goh met when they were doing introductions with the other kids in their group. They quickly became fast friends and were excited to hear that they would both be sharing a cabin together for the week, just the two of them. They became friends with everyone else in their group as well but both Ash and Goh new that other was special to each other. Knowing that they would only be spending a week together they promised to stay connected after the week was up. Every day, if possible, but if not then at least every week. \n\nAs the introductions ended each set of campers in the group were taken to their assigned cabin to get comfortable with it and place their luggage away for the time being. As the two boys were taken to their cabin, they were left out side while their counselor took the rest of the group to their cabins. Ash and Goh both looked at each other before walking in. At least at home they were in a familiar environment. \n\nAs the two little boys looked at each other they both knew what the other was feeling inside and wished just a little bit that their mommy was with them. Goh, use to the feeling but still feeling it regardless took hold of Ash's hand to help comfort him as well as himself.\n\n``Come on Ash.'' He said with a smile. ``Let's go inside and check it out.''\n\n``Yeah.'' Ash said, trying to fight back the homesick feeling that was trying to build inside of him.\n\nGoh opened the door and the two boys walked inside, hand in hand. The cabin was small but comfortable looking. The air conditioning had been running prior to the camper's arrival so it was comfortable inside for the two boys. It wasn't the middle of summer yet, but it was still comfortably hot outside to require the air conditioner. There were three rooms to the cabin, a seating room, the bedroom, and the bathroom. Hand in hand still Goh led Ash through the seating room into the bedroom so they could unpack their suet cases. \n\nThe bedroom was equipped to sleep four with a bunk bed on one side of the room and a full-sized bed on the other. Along the wall under the bedroom window was two small dressers and a small closet. Not enough storage space for four adults to share but enough for four kids that might share the cabin. \n\n``Oh cool!'' Goh said with excitement at seeing the bunk beds. ``We get bunk beds Ash! We can take turns sleeping on the top one if you want.''\n\nAsh didn't say anything and just stayed quite while he took in the room. \n\n``Is everything okay Ash?'' Goh asked knowing what he was feeling but wanting to make sure it was not something else.\n\n``It's just...I haven't ever been away from my Mommy before Goh.'' Ash said with a little quiver in his voice. For a six-year-old he was doing a good job at keeping his emotions in control. ``I- I'm a little scared'' he said as he squeezed Goh's hand a little.\n\nGoh could understand what Ash was feeling and dropped his suitcase at his feet freeing his right hand. As he let go of Ash's hand, he wrapped both arms around Ash giving him a comforting hug. \n\n``Its okay Ash.'' Goh said in a warm and friendly tone. ``I miss my Mommy and Daddy too.'' He said in honesty to his new friend. ``But we are only going to be here for a week, and we are going to have sooooooooooooo much fun too!'' He said trying to lift Ash's spirits. ``We get to play with Pokemon, and learn to take care of them and a whole bunch of other fun stuff as well.''\n\n``I- I know Goh.'' Ash said as he hugged him back. ``I am looking forward to all of that as well but...'' Ash didn't finish his sentence as he didn't know how to explain the feelings that he was feeling at the moment. \n\n``Well, what do you do when you are scared at home Ash?'' Goh asked him breaking there hug and placing his hand on Ash's shoulders. ``When I am scared...'' Goh started to tell him as he bent down and opened his suitcase up. ``I hug my plushie Sandy.'' He said as he pulled out his favorite plushie, a Sandshrew and hugged him to his chest in both arms while he was facing Ash. ``Sandy makes me feel better whenever it storms outside or when the power goes out and its all dark. I- I-'' Goh stuttered ``I am afraid of the dark Ash, so I always sleep with my night light. But sometimes it goes out, but I hug Sandy and I feel better.'' \n\nAsh smiled as Goh confided in him his fear of the dark and storms and bent down to open up his suitcase and pulled out his Charmander plushie, holding it in both arms to his chest to look at Goh and Sandy. \n\n``When I am at home and scarred at night my Mommy lets me and Char-char sleep in her bed with her.'' Ash said as his smile quickly went away.\n\nGoh looked over at the full-sized bed and got an idea. ``Oh! Well then maybe we could both sleep in the big bed Ash? That way you and Char-char don't have to feel so alone and you two can help me and Sandy not feel so alone and maybe the dark won't be so scarry with all four of us together.''\n\n``You mean it Goh?'' Ash said as the fear feeling in his tummy started to leave at Goh's suggestion. ``We can sleep together tonight?'' \n\n``Uh huh of course we can Ash. We can sleep together for the whole week to if you want. I think I would like that too. Just incase my night light goes out.'' Goh said with a smile.\n\n``Thanks Goh!'' Ash said as he hugged Goh while holding Char-char by his hand.\n\n``Your welcome Ash!'' Goh said as he managed to free one of his arms from in between the two of them so he could hug Ash back. ``That is what friends are for right? We need to be here for each other when no one else can be.'' He said as the two boys broke their hug. ``But we better get going or the others will wonder what happened to us. We can unpack our stuff later. \n\nThe two put there suitcases by their bed and place Sandy and Char-char on it, each boy telling his plushie to be good and wait for them to come back later in the evening before heading out to meet up with the rest of their group for the rest of the day's activities.\n\nThe rest of the day went on without any more feelings of being homesick and sad for either boy. As the day drew to a close both boys were worn out from all that they had learned in the few short hours that they had been there. As it was nearing 8:30 PM the kids were all sent back to their cabins for the night. Bedtime at Junior Pokemon Camp being no later than 9:30. \n\nAsh and Goh returned to there cabin feeling pretty tired. They had not been doing anything to get them dirty or sweaty this day so they both decided that they could wait until tomorrow to take a bath. They both were just getting very sleepy and wanted to go to bed. \n\nAs they returned to there bedroom, they found Sandy and Char-char waiting form them right where they left them earlier. \n\n``I'm getting so sleepy Goh.'' Ash said with a yawn as he took off his Velcro shoes. \n\n``Me to Ash.'' Goh said with a yawn of his own as they are contagious after all.\n\n ``Do you think we should take a bath tonight?'' Ash asked him, not being sure what to do since his Mommy wasn't there to make the decision for him.\n\n``We didn't really get dirty today and we were inside for most of the day. I think we can wait until tomorrow night to take one.'' Goh said as he undid the Velcro on his shoes and kicked them off while sitting on the side of the bed. \n\n``I'm so tired Goh that I don't think I can change into my jammies.'' Ash said as he laid down on the be behind him and hugged Char-char to his chest.\n\nGoh turned to look at him, ``Do- Do you want me to help you change into your jammies Ash?'' Goh asked, wanting to help make sure his new friend was as comfortable as possible in order to get a better night's sleep. ``I bet you will sleep better if you aren't wearing the same clothes that you were wearing all day.''\n\n``OK, thanks Goh!'' Ash said with tired but thankful tone ``and I will help you change into yours since we are best friends, right?''\n\n``Right!'' Goh said as he smiled and turned around and knelt up on the bed to face Ash. \n\nGoh reached over to the bottom of Ash's shirt and lifted it up. Exposing his friend's belt. He unthreaded it in order to loosen his shorts and smiled as he looked at Ash laying there with his head on his pillow and his Charmander plushie in his arms. Next Goh unsnapped the button and zipper of Ashes shorts. Giving Goh a complete ``no resistance'' hold on Ashes body. He grabbed hold of the leg holes at the bottom of his shorts and tugged them down Ash's legs and up towards the ceiling at the same time, forcing Ash's legs and feet to raise up off the bed in the process. Once Ash's shorts were off of him Goh looked at Ash's cute briefs. They were all white except for the waist band and the ribbing around the leg holes and the fly which were a bright true yellow. Ash and Goh both let out a series of giggles, as cute little boys do when they are not wearing any pants over their undies and others can see them.\n\n``Hey!'' Goh said with a big smile as he read the wording that ran along the waistband of Ash's briefs. The words spelled out ``Pokemon Kids'' in blocky white letters with a red trim around them. ``I have the same undies as you Ash!'' Goh said in excitement. ``They are my favorite!'' he continued ``I really like the ones in the pack with the pictures of Pokemon all over them and all the ones that are different colors and the white ones with the colored waist band like the ones you are wearing right now!'' Goh's excitement increased as he rambled off all the various kinds of undies that were available in the specific pack of briefs that Ash's came in. \n\n``Me too!'' Ash said as he hugged Char-char a little tighter in excitement ``My Mommy always tells me how cute I look in them when I wear them at home.'' Ash told him. More or less revealing to his friend that he does not always wear pants at home.\n\nGoh off the bed and went to retrieve the rest of Ash's briefs out of his suitcase and his jammies. He got back on the bed with 10 pairs of Ash's underwear and his summertime jammies. Even though Ash was only going to be at camp for a week his mom believed in packing a few extra pairs of briefs in case of accidents as well as extra socks because wet socks from stepping in a creek or river were never comfortable. \n\n``What kind do you want to wear to bed tonight, Ash?'' Goh asked him looking through all the different colors and pictures on his underwear. Some of them being the same as what Goh had in his suitcase as Ash would be finding out soon. Goh also noticed that all of Ash's underwear had ``Ash Ketchum'' written on the inside of the waistband in the back in a black marker. Goh smiled at this as he knew that his mom wrote ``Goh Matthews'' on his underwear in the back as well.\n\nAsh thought for a second and then looked at Sandy setting on the bed next to Goh and smiled. ``I want the Sandshrew ones Goh. Because of you and Sandy!'' \n\n``That's a very nice thing to say Ash.'' Goh said as he changed Ash out of his undies and slipped the Sandshrew ones on. These were similar to the ones he had been wearing in regards of the waistband and the ribbing were all a brownish tan color but instead of the rest of the brief being white it had pictures of Sandshrew all over it being seen from different angles and doing different things like sleeping and poking his head out of the ground. The same words ``Pokemon Kids'' were written all along the waistband but on this pair of briefs they were written in blue blocky letters. \n\n``I agree with your Mommy Ash.'' Goh said with a little blush to his face. ``I think those undies are really cute on you too!'' \n\nAsh didn't respond to his friend with words but rather a deep blush to his face while he tried to hide it with Char-char.\n\n``Ok, sit up Ash so I can take your shirt off.'' Goh instructed as he was almost done helping Ash get ready for bed. \n\nWith his face still blushing Ash sat up and Goh grabbed the bottom of it and pulled it up over his head and his arms leaving his friend sitting there on the bed momentarily in just his white socks and Sandshrew briefs. Gou placed Ash's bedtime shirt over his head and helped his friend find the arm holes. \n\n``Uh...Goh'' Ash said shyly one his shirt was on, causing Goh to pause momentarily as he was about to put Ash's sleep shorts on. ``Do- Do you think I can sleep with out my jammie shorts? I like to just sleep in my shirt and undies and socks unless it's really cold outside.'' Ash asked, a little unsure about how his friend would respond. \n\n``Sure Ash!'' Goh said with a cheerful response. ``I will sleep that way with you too. That way you aren't the only one like that.'' Ash felt more relaxed at Goh's response and statement of wanting him to be as comfortable as possible while away from home.\n\nThe last thing that Goh did was take off Ash's white socks and replaced them with fresh ones and with that Ash was ready for bedtime.\n\n``There you go Ash, all ready for bedtime.'' Goh said as he placed his hands on his hips and looked down at his friend. He admired the cute image of his new friend laying on the bed in his shirt that said ``Future Pokemon Master'' written on it, his cute Sandshrew briefs and white crew socks.\n\n``Thanks for helping me Goh.'' Ash said as he kneeled up on the bed. ``Now its my turn to help you get ready for bed.'' He said with a smile.\n\nAnd with that the two little boys switched places and Ash started to get Goh ready in the same manner that Goh had gotten him ready. Ash started with Goh's shorts that didn't have any belt loops or button or zipper on them. They were just elastic waist shorts that allowed for easy pulling on and pulling off. Ash took hold of the waistband and pulled them down Goh's legs with a little help from Goh who lifted his bottom up to make the task easier for Ash. As his shorts were pulled down, they revealed what kind of undies were hidden underneath. Again, a collection of giggles erupted from the two little boys as Goh's white briefs with pink colored ribbing and waistband were revealed. Ones the giggling had subsided enough for the boys to continue Ash got off the bed and bent down to look in Goh's suitcase for all of his undies. Goh, in the process getting a funny view of Ash's Sandshrew undies clad bottom as Ash was bending over. It only caused him to giggle more. As Ash found all the briefs that Goh's Mommy packed for him as well as his jammies he returned back to the bed. Following the same approach that Goh had done with Ash, Ash asked ``what kind of undies do you want to wear to bed Goh?''\n\nGoh had already decided which ones he was going to wear when Ash picked the Sandshrew ones. Goh had helped his Mommy pack his suitcase the night before and new that he had the Charmander ones. \n\n``I want the Charmander ones Ash.'' He said with a smile. ``Because of you and Char-char.'' \n\nAsh and Goh exchanged giggles again at this sign of friendship between them as Ash removed Gou's pink trimmed briefs with his Charmander ones. Similar to the Sandshrew ones that Ash was wearing, these had Charmander all over them in different poses and doing different things. They had a red waistband and ribbing and ``Pokemon Kid's'' written in black blocky letters along the waist band. \n\n``It's a good thing that our Mommy's write our names on our undies huh?'' Goh said as he noticed that Ash had put the rest of Goh's briefs on top of Ash's, making one big pile of the boys combined underwear. ``That way we will know which ones are mine and which ones are yours.'' \n\n``Yeah. My Mommy would think it was strange if I came home with more undies then she packed for me.'' Ash said with a yawn as he was getting more tired by the minute ``Ok Goh, sit up so I can take your shirt off.'' \n\nGoh sat up and in the same manner that Goh did for Ash, Ash took off Goh's shirt and replaced it with his sleep shirt which had a picture of Growlithe sitting and smiling and written underneath him were the words ``Certified Cuddle Puppy''.\n\nLastly Ash took of Goh's white socks and replaced them with fresh ones before saying, ``There, all done and ready for bedtime.'' Placing his hands on his hips just like his friend did after getting him dressed. \n\n``Thanks Ash. There is just one more thing to do before we go to bed.'' Goh informed him as he got of the bed and rummaged through his suitcase.\n\n``What's that?'' Ash asked as he grabbed Char-char and hugged him in both arms, confused about what they still had to do.\n\nGoh finally found what he was looking for and pulled out a small Pikachu night light. \n\n``Oh yeah! I am glad you remembered that Goh. I don't like the dark either, its scarry.'' Ash said in a timid tone as he brought Char-char up to his face as if to hide behind him.\n\nAs Goh plugged it in to the wall and turned it on both little boys felt a little bit safer and comfortable. \n\n``All set Ash. Ready for bed?'' Goh asked.\n\nAsh didn't respond but instead just shook his head ``yes'' and the two boys cleared off the bed of their dirty clothes and placed them on the floor and all there clean underwear they placed on the bottom bunkbed on the other side of the room. Goh let Ash climb into the full-size bed first so he would be between the wall and Goh for extra protection and then he followed. As Goh turned out the light he and Ash snuggled together under the covers. Getting as close as they could while each one hugged his plushie tightly to his chest. Their socked feet briefly rubbing against the others letting out a last little bedtime giggle. \n\nAs they looked at each other in the dim light of the bedroom, illuminated only by the Pikachu night light Ash spoke up.\n\n``Thank you, Goh, for helping me feel better.'' They both knew that they were going to have lots of fun this week and were excited to learn a lot of stuff about Pokemon but being away from home even if you were used to being alone as was the case for Goh was different then being at home and alone. At least at home they were in a familiar environment.

As the two little boys looked at each other they both knew what the other was feeling inside and wished just a little bit that their mommy was with them. Goh, use to the feeling but still feeling it regardless took hold of Ash's hand to help comfort him as well as himself.

``Come on Ash.'' He said with a smile. ``Let's go inside and check it out.''

``Yeah.'' Ash said, trying to fight back the homesick feeling that was trying to build inside of him.

Goh opened the door and the two boys walked inside, hand in hand. The cabin was small but comfortable looking. The air conditioning had been running prior to the camper's arrival so it was comfortable inside for the two boys. It wasn't the middle of summer yet, but it was still comfortably hot outside to require the air conditioner. There were three rooms to the cabin, a seating room, the bedroom, and the bathroom. Hand in hand still Goh led Ash through the seating room into the bedroom so they could unpack their suet cases.

The bedroom was equipped to sleep four with a bunk bed on one side of the room and a full-sized bed on the other. Along the wall under the bedroom window was two small dressers and a small closet. Not enough storage space for four adults to share but enough for four kids that might share the cabin.

``Oh cool!'' Goh said with excitement at seeing the bunk beds. ``We get bunk beds Ash! We can take turns sleeping on the top one if you want.''

Ash didn't say anything and just stayed quite while he took in the room.

``Is everything okay Ash?'' Goh asked knowing what he was feeling but wanting to make sure it was not something else.

``It's just...I haven't ever been away from my Mommy before Goh.'' Ash said with a little quiver in his voice. For a six-year-old he was doing a good job at keeping his emotions in control. ``I- I'm a little scared'' he said as he squeezed Goh's hand a little.

Goh could understand what Ash was feeling and dropped his suitcase at his feet freeing his right hand. As he let go of Ash's hand, he wrapped both arms around Ash giving him a comforting hug.

``Its okay Ash.'' Goh said in a warm and friendly tone. ``I miss my Mommy and Daddy too.'' He said in honesty to his new friend. ``But we are only going to be here for a week, and we are going to have sooooooooooooo much fun too!'' He said trying to lift Ash's spirits. ``We get to play with Pokemon, and learn to take care of them and a whole bunch of other fun stuff as well.''

``I- I know Goh.'' Ash said as he hugged him back. ``I am looking forward to all of that as well but...'' Ash didn't finish his sentence as he didn't know how to explain the feelings that he was feeling at the moment.

``Well, what do you do when you are scared at home Ash?'' Goh asked him breaking there hug and placing his hand on Ash's shoulders. ``When I am scared...'' Goh started to tell him as he bent down and opened his suitcase up. ``I hug my plushie Sandy.'' He said as he pulled out his favorite plushie, a Sandshrew and hugged him to his chest in both arms while he was facing Ash. ``Sandy makes me feel better whenever it storms outside or when the power goes out and its all dark. I- I-'' Goh stuttered ``I am afraid of the dark Ash, so I always sleep with my night light. But sometimes it goes out, but I hug Sandy and I feel better.''  

Ash smiled as Goh confided in him his fear of the dark and storms and bent down to open up his suitcase and pulled out his Charmander plushie, holding it in both arms to his chest to look at Goh and Sandy.

``When I am at home and scarred at night my Mommy lets me and Char-char sleep in her bed with her.'' Ash said as his smile quickly went away.

Goh looked over at the full-sized bed and got an idea. ``Oh! Well then maybe we could both sleep in the big bed Ash? That way you and Char-char don't have to feel so alone and you two can help me and Sandy not feel so alone and maybe the dark won't be so scarry with all four of us together.''

``You mean it Goh?'' Ash said as the fear feeling in his tummy started to leave at Goh's suggestion. ``We can sleep together tonight?''

``Uh huh of course we can Ash. We can sleep together for the whole week to if you want. I think I would like that too. Just incase my night light goes out.'' Goh said with a smile.

``Thanks Goh!'' Ash said as he hugged Goh while holding Char-char by his hand.

``Your welcome Ash!'' Goh said as he managed to free one of his arms from in between the two of them so he could hug Ash back. ``That is what friends are for right? We need to be here for each other when no one else can be.'' He said as the two boys broke their hug. ``But we better get going or the others will wonder what happened to us. We can unpack our stuff later.

The two put there suitcases by their bed and place Sandy and Char-char on it, each boy telling his plushie to be good and wait for them to come back later in the evening before heading out to meet up with the rest of their group for the rest of the day's activities.

The rest of the day went on without any more feelings of being homesick and sad for either boy. As the day drew to a close both boys were worn out from all that they had learned in the few short hours that they had been there. As it was nearing 8:30 PM the kids were all sent back to their cabins for the night. Bedtime at Junior Pokemon Camp being no later than 9:30.

Ash and Goh returned to there cabin feeling pretty tired. They had not been doing anything to get them dirty or sweaty this day so they both decided that they could wait until tomorrow to take a bath. They both were just getting very sleepy and wanted to go to bed.

As they returned to there bedroom, they found Sandy and Char-char waiting form them right where they left them earlier.

``I'm getting so sleepy Goh.'' Ash said with a yawn as he took off his Velcro shoes.

``Me to Ash.'' Goh said with a yawn of his own as they are contagious after all.

 ``Do you think we should take a bath tonight?'' Ash asked him, not being sure what to do since his Mommy wasn't there to make the decision for him.

``We didn't really get dirty today and we were inside for most of the day. I think we can wait until tomorrow night to take one.'' Goh said as he undid the Velcro on his shoes and kicked them off while sitting on the side of the bed.

``I'm so tired Goh that I don't think I can change into my jammies.'' Ash said as he laid down on the be behind him and hugged Char-char to his chest.

Goh turned to look at him, ``Do- Do you want me to help you change into your jammies Ash?'' Goh asked, wanting to help make sure his new friend was as comfortable as possible in order to get a better night's sleep. ``I bet you will sleep better if you aren't wearing the same clothes that you were wearing all day.''

``OK, thanks Goh!'' Ash said with tired but thankful tone ``and I will help you change into yours since we are best friends, right?''

``Right!'' Goh said as he smiled and turned around and knelt up on the bed to face Ash.

Goh reached over to the bottom of Ash's shirt and lifted it up. Exposing his friend's belt. He unthreaded it in order to loosen his shorts and smiled as he looked at Ash laying there with his head on his pillow and his Charmander plushie in his arms. Next Goh unsnapped the button and zipper of Ashes shorts. Giving Goh a complete ``no resistance'' hold on Ashes body. He grabbed hold of the leg holes at the bottom of his shorts and tugged them down Ash's legs and up towards the ceiling at the same time, forcing Ash's legs and feet to raise up off the bed in the process. Once Ash's shorts were off of him Goh looked at Ash's cute briefs. They were all white except for the waist band and the ribbing around the leg holes and the fly which were a bright true yellow. Ash and Goh both let out a series of giggles, as cute little boys do when they are not wearing any pants over their undies and others can see them.

``Hey!'' Goh said with a big smile as he read the wording that ran along the waistband of Ash's briefs. The words spelled out ``Pokemon Kids'' in blocky white letters with a red trim around them. ``I have the same undies as you Ash!'' Goh said in excitement. ``They are my favorite!'' he continued ``I really like the ones in the pack with the pictures of Pokemon all over them and all the ones that are different colors and the white ones with the colored waist band like the ones you are wearing right now!'' Goh's excitement increased as he rambled off all the various kinds of undies that were available in the specific pack of briefs that Ash's came in.

``Me too!'' Ash said as he hugged Char-char a little tighter in excitement ``My Mommy always tells me how cute I look in them when I wear them at home.'' Ash told him. More or less revealing to his friend that he does not always wear pants at home.

Goh off the bed and went to retrieve the rest of Ash's briefs out of his suitcase and his jammies. He got back on the bed with 10 pairs of Ash's underwear and his summertime jammies. Even though Ash was only going to be at camp for a week his mom believed in packing a few extra pairs of briefs in case of accidents as well as extra socks because wet socks from stepping in a creek or river were never comfortable.

``What kind do you want to wear to bed tonight, Ash?'' Goh asked him looking through all the different colors and pictures on his underwear. Some of them being the same as what Goh had in his suitcase as Ash would be finding out soon. Goh also noticed that all of Ash's underwear had ``Ash Ketchum'' written on the inside of the waistband in the back in a black marker. Goh smiled at this as he knew that his mom wrote ``Goh Matthews'' on his underwear in the back as well.

Ash thought for a second and then looked at Sandy setting on the bed next to Goh and smiled. ``I want the Sandshrew ones Goh. Because of you and Sandy!''

``That's a very nice thing to say Ash.'' Goh said as he changed Ash out of his undies and slipped the Sandshrew ones on. These were similar to the ones he had been wearing in regards of the waistband and the ribbing were all a brownish tan color but instead of the rest of the brief being white it had pictures of Sandshrew all over it being seen from different angles and doing different things like sleeping and poking his head out of the ground. The same words ``Pokemon Kids'' were written all along the waistband but on this pair of briefs they were written in blue blocky letters.

``I agree with your Mommy Ash.'' Goh said with a little blush to his face. ``I think those undies are really cute on you too!''  

Ash didn't respond to his friend with words but rather a deep blush to his face while he tried to hide it with Char-char.

``Ok, sit up Ash so I can take your shirt off.'' Goh instructed as he was almost done helping Ash get ready for bed.

With his face still blushing Ash sat up and Goh grabbed the bottom of it and pulled it up over his head and his arms leaving his friend sitting there on the bed momentarily in just his white socks and Sandshrew briefs. Gou placed Ash's bedtime shirt over his head and helped his friend find the arm holes.

``Uh...Goh'' Ash said shyly one his shirt was on, causing Goh to pause momentarily as he was about to put Ash's sleep shorts on. ``Do- Do you think I can sleep with out my jammie shorts? I like to just sleep in my shirt and undies and socks unless it's really cold outside.'' Ash asked, a little unsure about how his friend would respond.

``Sure Ash!'' Goh said with a cheerful response. ``I will sleep that way with you too. That way you aren't the only one like that.'' Ash felt more relaxed at Goh's response and statement of wanting him to be as comfortable as possible while away from home.

The last thing that Goh did was take off Ash's white socks and replaced them with fresh ones and with that Ash was ready for bedtime.

``There you go Ash, all ready for bedtime.'' Goh said as he placed his hands on his hips and looked down at his friend. He admired the cute image of his new friend laying on the bed in his shirt that said ``Future Pokemon Master'' written on it, his cute Sandshrew briefs and white crew socks.

``Thanks for helping me Goh.'' Ash said as he kneeled up on the bed. ``Now its my turn to help you get ready for bed.'' He said with a smile.

And with that the two little boys switched places and Ash started to get Goh ready in the same manner that Goh had gotten him ready. Ash started with Goh's shorts that didn't have any belt loops or button or zipper on them. They were just elastic waist shorts that allowed for easy pulling on and pulling off. Ash took hold of the waistband and pulled them down Goh's legs with a little help from Goh who lifted his bottom up to make the task easier for Ash. As his shorts were pulled down, they revealed what kind of undies were hidden underneath. Again, a collection of giggles erupted from the two little boys as Goh's white briefs with pink colored ribbing and waistband were revealed. Ones the giggling had subsided enough for the boys to continue Ash got off the bed and bent down to look in Goh's suitcase for all of his undies. Goh, in the process getting a funny view of Ash's Sandshrew undies clad bottom as Ash was bending over. It only caused him to giggle more. As Ash found all the briefs that Goh's Mommy packed for him as well as his jammies he returned back to the bed. Following the same approach that Goh had done with Ash, Ash asked ``what kind of undies do you want to wear to bed Goh?''

Goh had already decided which ones he was going to wear when Ash picked the Sandshrew ones. Goh had helped his Mommy pack his suitcase the night before and new that he had the Charmander ones.

``I want the Charmander ones Ash.'' He said with a smile. ``Because of you and Char-char.''

Ash and Goh exchanged giggles again at this sign of friendship between them as Ash removed Gou's pink trimmed briefs with his Charmander ones. Similar to the Sandshrew ones that Ash was wearing, these had Charmander all over them in different poses and doing different things. They had a red waistband and ribbing and ``Pokemon Kid's'' written in black blocky letters along the waist band.

``It's a good thing that our Mommy's write our names on our undies huh?'' Goh said as he noticed that Ash had put the rest of Goh's briefs on top of Ash's, making one big pile of the boys combined underwear. ``That way we will know which ones are mine and which ones are yours.''

``Yeah. My Mommy would think it was strange if I came home with more undies then she packed for me.'' Ash said with a yawn as he was getting more tired by the minute ``Ok Goh, sit up so I can take your shirt off.''

Goh sat up and in the same manner that Goh did for Ash, Ash took off Goh's shirt and replaced it with his sleep shirt which had a picture of Growlithe sitting and smiling and written underneath him were the words ``Certified Cuddle Puppy''.

Lastly Ash took of Goh's white socks and replaced them with fresh ones before saying, ``There, all done and ready for bedtime.'' Placing his hands on his hips just like his friend did after getting him dressed.

``Thanks Ash. There is just one more thing to do before we go to bed.'' Goh informed him as he got of the bed and rummaged through his suitcase.

``What's that?'' Ash asked as he grabbed Char-char and hugged him in both arms, confused about what they still had to do.

Goh finally found what he was looking for and pulled out a small Pikachu night light.

``Oh yeah! I am glad you remembered that Goh. I don't like the dark either, its scarry.'' Ash said in a timid tone as he brought Char-char up to his face as if to hide behind him.

As Goh plugged it in to the wall and turned it on both little boys felt a little bit safer and comfortable.

``All set Ash. Ready for bed?'' Goh asked.

Ash didn't respond but instead just shook his head ``yes'' and the two boys cleared off the bed of their dirty clothes and placed them on the floor and all there clean underwear they placed on the bottom bunkbed on the other side of the room. Goh let Ash climb into the full-size bed first so he would be between the wall and Goh for extra protection and then he followed. As Goh turned out the light he and Ash snuggled together under the covers. Getting as close as they could while each one hugged his plushie tightly to his chest. Their socked feet briefly rubbing against the others letting out a last little bedtime giggle.

As they looked at each other in the dim light of the bedroom, illuminated only by the Pikachu night light Ash spoke up.

``Thank you, Goh, for helping me feel better.'' Ash said with a very sincere heart.

``Your welcome Ash. Thank you for helping me feel better too.'' Goh said, returning the sentiment. ``We'll be best friends forever Ash.''

``You promise Goh?''

``Yeah.''
